Coen eeped and jumped back, getting out of range of Jazz's tail. "That was perfectly fair!" he protested with mock indignation while he stepped to the left, trying to circle around behind the mouse.

Jazz turned as Coen circled him, unable to stop giggling. "It was not!" He protested as well, unable to achieve the same mock indignation because he couldn't stop giggling. "I don't think I could handle another tickle assault from you, kitty," he confessed, covering his tummy and sides with his arms and hands, still giggling.

"Oh? What do you mean you don't think you could handle another tickle assault?" Coen asked, continuing to circle the mouse. Maybe he'd be nice and just see how red he could make Jazz blush...

"I mean exactly that, kitty cat! I can't handle another!" He laughed, circling as well to make sure the lion wouldn't get behind him.

Coen chuckled lightly and kept circling then, all of a sudden, pounced, grabbing Jazz up in his arms and hugging the rodent close to his broad chest. "You're such a cutie, Mousie!"

Squealing in surprise, Jazz suddenly found himself caught up in the lion's strong arms. With no hope of escape, he allowed a few giggles to escape him, and he freed his arms. He then wrapped them around the lion's neck, laying his head on Coen's broad chest. "You're adorable, kitty-cat," he giggled, tail flicking behind him.

"I am not adorable!" Coen whined, nipping lightly at one of Jazz's rounded ears. "You are, though. I mean, by comparison, you are the cutest little hybrid ever. Me, though.. Most are afraid of me when they first see me. That does not qualify me as 'adorable'."

The nipped ear twitched a few times and the little mouse squeaked, unable to keep himself from giggling more. "You are too!" He persisted, the tip of his tail flicking a little bit. "And I'm not the cutest hybrid ever, Coen! I bet there's lots that are cuter than I am. And you're not scary, you're adorable! I was afraid of you when I first saw you before I'm scared of almost anyone and anything, especially if they're bigger than me and have sharp teeth and claws," he confessed with a nod and a giggle.

"Why are you being so persistent about this, mousie? I can't pull off adorable. You do, though. You really are a cutie. And though I might not be scary when you get to know me, there's no way anyone..except you, apparently..would think me adorable," Coen argued, then nipped at Jazz's other ear while he squeezed the smaller hybrid in a hug, being careful not to squish the poor little guy.

His other nipped ear twitched a few times, the various gold-colored earrings quivering as he did so. He giggled, burying his face into the chest of the other. "You can too pull off adorable! I think you can pull it off anytime, but especially when you play with Eli, then you're extra cute and adorable," he persisted, giggling more. Interested at Coen's nipping, he decided to try it himself. He nipped at the chest of the lion, but carefully because he didn't want to hurt him, and only managed to n** the hybrid's shirt.

Coen put his big hands on Jazz's shoulders and went to push the rodent back so he wouldn't be able to hide his face anymore, but, when the lion pushed, he noticed his shirt went with the smaller hybrid. "Uhh, mousie? Why are you nibbling on my shirt? What did it ever do to you?" he asked, a puzzled little half-smile curving the left corner of his mouth upward.

He stuck his tongue out at the lion, the shirt dropping as he did so. "It tasted good," he said, which was the first thing that popped into his head. He couldn't help but giggle again, the tip of his tail flicking from habit. "Why do you n** at my ears, what did they ever do to you, lion-kitty?"

"'It tasted good'?" Coen asked, looking down at his well-used shirt. He washed it everyday so it smelled good but he had never been compelled to taste it. The big feline was drawn out of his puzzled thoughts by Jazz's question and he smiled, chuckling lightly at the rodent. "You're ears weren't listening so I decided to try and get their attention. Nipping them seemed like the best way," he explained, failing to mention that it seemed like it would be a fun way, too.

He nodded enthusiastically, giggling more. "They were too listening! Why did you n** at them, then? They didn't do anything wrong!" He giggled, pressing his face into the chest of the lion.

"Well, it didn't seem like they were listening. I kept telling you I'm not cute or adorable but you kept saying the opposite and I started to think maybe your ears were the problem," Coen said with a smirk while he lightly rubbed Jazz's sides.
