Right, a question for our new Fanatic.

Who is Orsino Thruston and what is the pun in his name?

A member of the Weird Sisters band, I can't remember which instrument though...

And I think it was some kind of ironic Shakespeare reference... Kira pointed it out, so I didn't get many details.

Orsino Thruston is indeed a member of the band the Weird Sisters. He plays drums.

He's also named after the Duke Orsino from Shakespeares Twelfth Night. Duke Orsino is well known for his first line in the play " If music be the food of love, play on,". This is ironic because he is in a band. Ah, you gotta love that JK works the smallest details with care, sometimes.

I guess that means I've stumped you, but I won't be taking the tittle back. You can keep it since I've had my share for now, and am in need of a deserving break, I beleive. Rock that title, Aeari. cool

Question for whoever the current fanatic is:

What is the name of the book Hermione procures which gives instructions on how to make Horcruxes. What is the exact incantation she used to get it?

So you're the almighty fanatic, now. Congrats!

And I like your siggy, by the way. The grammer thing. 'S cool.

Oooh....okay...this one is from JKR's website

What is the plot twist in Sorcerers Stone that would have changed the entire book, had it not been edited out early on?

What to did which twin do to Ron to make him fear spiders. (easy question,i know)
PostPosted: Sat Sep 08, 2007 8:05 pm

To the first question: I don't really remember a huge plot twist. Well vaguely. But all I remember from JKR's website from the first book is that Hermione's dad found the Potter's dead (edited out) and actually having the scene where Voldy kills them in the first chapter, plus a new character who is Voldy's informant. I think...I've only been to the site once. Is that huge enough? What do you define as huge? Sorry that I'm being really vague. But the question is sort of general. Care to specify?

To the second: Ummm I know that one of the twins turned Ron's teddy bear into a spider. I believe it was (eeny meeny miney moo) Fred??? I think.

Btw, to the one that I stumped the previous fanatic with: It's actually in the first part of the seventh book. The book is Secrets of the Darkest Art, and the incantation is Accio.

You got my question right
PostPosted: Thu Sep 13, 2007 7:54 pm

You got my question wrong. The origional plot twist was that the stone had been found at Godrics Hollow, Hermionie suspected that they may have stolen it.

The plot was abandoned early on, though...

The Sorcerer's Stone?...Hmmm...I don't remember that one.

The question was a bit general, there were several things that could have answered.

But you can have Almighty Fanatic anyway blaugh . I want the challenge of getting it back twisted .

P.S. Where on JK Rowlings site is that..I was just curious so I went and looked after I got it wrong and I couldnt find it. I'm merely curious cuz I want to read the other plot twists. Thanks!

yays, I'm the fanatic!

as for Hedwig....I don't remember her being destroyed....I believe she was hit by Avada Kedava. It may not have specified though...
