((Sheesh, I think we've all lost our minds.....))
Kayako stole her chance at Rain's distraction and slashed upwards with the peice of glass she still held in her hand, feeling it connect with the closest target, but not deep enough to do as much damage as she'd hoped.

The man violently jerked back as a sharp pain pierced his stomach. He slammed against the wall and bounced back off, the ground receiving his cold limp body.
"Idiots." The man swung his gun, smacking the barrel against Rain's head.

That was it. She didn't want to do it, but she had no choice.
Standing up, Kayako turned her stolen gun around and fired. She tried to aim away from the man's vital points, but with the backlash she wasn't sure where the bullets would hit. As she heard a yelp and closed her eyes, then slowly opened them to see how bad it was. She couldn't hide, she still needed to be ready for more attackers.

Rain got off the vanquished ((just really wanted to use that word)) man quickly. She was caught by the gun barrel, however. She looked at the corner of her eyes towards where it was. She stood still, not moving. Barely breathing almost. The bad thing about her stopping was that her "berserk" side of her would start to wane and she would not be able to do much in a fight.

((Ummm... well... I guess the heat's still running. Keep moving, there's probably more surprises in wait. Although, unlike you guys, I actually have limited energy. My lids are becoming heavier than expected. I think I'll kick off soon.))
"Gun fire?" Xellien muttered and lifted his head. He glanced back at the other scientists, "We have a problem... and my nerves are tinging me in a bad direction. Send a group of five or six in." He quickly motioned his hand and headed for the cockpit of the shuttle.

Five guards quickly charged across the grounds and entered the building.
"You take that way, we'll take this way." The five split up into groups of three and two. Each one nearing closer to cornering the runaways.

Rain relaxed and was able to move now that the gun barrel was away from her head. "I think we better hurry up and save your friend," she said. "It'd be easier to fight the guards that are sure to come with three people instead of two." Technically... she thought. Two instead of one...

Kayako nodded.
Aiming the weapon at the door in front of her, she shot at the lock, breaking it into two peices that fell to the ground.
"We need to hurry..."
She swung the door open as quickly as possible and motioned for Rain to follow.

Rain nodded and headed in after her. Once they were both in, she shut the door, even though that might not do much. Maybe it'll keep them from surprising us... she thought. "Is your friend near?" she asked Kayako.

((Ok, please tell me this is the room holding Gray.))
Bullets rained from the doors opening. The other two guards from before flew past them, one burrowing its metallic shell into Rain's knee.
"Cover me, I'm out of rounds." The guard shouted and pulled back from behind the table.
"Stand down and give up. These actions are useless, your chances of making it out of the facility are futile!" He shouted and started another round of sprayed bullets.
Two more guards popped out from a corner far from the side. They stumbled when they saw the sudden commotion.
"You understood Xellien's orders. Don't kill them, just make sure they're disabled." One whispered to the other.

"The perfect situation." Xellien whispered with dazed eyes, "The stress will definitely act on this effect... But how will she react?" Xellien smiled and entered a few keys in. The console lit up, several dark glowing symbols flying across its surface, "Now the program is working on both Gray and Kayako. I just hope this extra boost of energy doesn't kill them... Though... Its more than a boost."
((Oh come on! Can we just say your still going through the door? I like hte spraying bullets thing.))

"Yeah, he's in here somewhere...Watch for a containment cell...he's not the silent type like me, they wouldn't risk him getting out..."
The room was almost pitch-black. Kayako squinted, trying to find Gray in the mass extension of shadows.
Out of nowhere, a barrage of bullets cut through the silence, bouncing off the steel around them and shooting off in all directions.
Kayako ducked, shoving Rain down with her.
((I think we should wait for Shotesu now. I sent him another message with the updates.))
