it depends on if you mean anime or manga. There aren't really that many anime's I watch, but I'd have to say Inuyasha. If we're talkin manga, I would probably say Suikoden III, Tsubasa, Inuyasha, or Naruto. Maybe also Hikaru a no go, but I haven't read it in awhile.

yeah, in manga the art is better and isn't restricted to tv ratings (ex: in shaman king in one episode they fight Fausk (or somethin, my friend's the one who reads/watches em) who's a necromancer. He take's the main characters friend hostage. The difference is that in the anime, he's just taken hostage and the main character prevents anything bad from happening, yet in the manga, the friend has the skin on his stomach peeled away, leaving muscle tissue etc... which means that there's blood. kinda morbid when you think abou it and don't actually know the thing i'm talkin about, but the manga adds another depth to the fight, which the anime fails to do.). The art in manga is also more artistic and detailed since the animator's didn't have to worry about making the characters actually move.
The only thing i like about anime is the fact that you don't have to by the books xp
