Ahhh, Armorhide . . . I nicknamed him "Optimus Minor" after the beast wars counterpart. A Semi-Truck that just isn't as big as Prime. Still, he is one of my favoured toys at the moment.

As for Downshift, he does look interesting, and I probably will get him if I see him. My only comment is that his head mold (from what I could see in the illustration) is a lot like the distinctive look of Wheeljack. Perhaps that is another one of my 'renaming' members. I tend to do that a lot. For instance the scout from Cybertron named 'Hardtop' strikes me more as a Swindle. ninja

His head mold looks like that for a reason. Because Armada, Enegon, and Cybertron all take place in the same universe and there was already a Wheel Jack, all the Wheel Jack tributes are called Downshift. Rather dumb in my opinion, but Hasbro's been dropping the ball allot lately in my opinion.

I finally got TF:Cybertron Galvatron! I am so glad I passed on Megatron for this guy. The silver color scheme is just perfect.

Serious continuity issues, then. Hot Shot must have had a head injury that made him forget the "seasoned commander" idea from Energon, and Landmine must have been missing for most of Armada.

Oh yeah, plus the idea that they are supposed to be being kept hidden from humans? After building a joint autobot/human city?

eesh.

I agree completely. If they were going to attach the toys to a cartoon they should of done their own animation to the toys instead of the Japanese one that can't be wrapped with the American storyline so well.

It would of been nice if Override was female, that at least the animated version looked more female. As if is I rather think of Override as Nitro Convoy, cause to me the toy and animated version just doesn't look or act female.

Agreed. Though they at least TRIED to explain why override didn't look/act female.

Excerpt from cyber planet key code:

It took a long time for Override to claim the title of Leader of the Speed Planet. When the Cybertronian explorers first landed on what would become Speed Planet, races were held to see who would be leader. Override pretended to be a BOY to enter the race and the entire planet was stunned when she won the race and revealed that she was a tough-as-nails female racecar!

if only it had held true.

but regardless... Why can't we get a new transformers cartoon that doesn't suck monkey butt?

I must say that they've been getting a LITTLE better with each series, but still nothing GOOD.

Argh... Makes a transfan cry. All I can do is use my over-active imagination through my transformers.

And I swear to god my BW:TM Megs is still plotting to kill me in my sleep.

That he is, and he looks almost exactly like an OC I designed nearly a decade ago, right down to his transformation! A very cool figure. 3nodding

Honestly, I look at Armorhide, and he just seems like a Huffer to me.

I mean, Huffer was a small truck too, right? And the face seems alike as well. No defining head-fins or antennae, no blunt chin or lack of mouth... Just
a plain ol' Cybertronian.

Seems too alike to me to be anything else. Though the Optimus Minor was clever. :p
