Ri stood up and walked over to where Pixi sat. "You're sorry? What for? You just recently started training, and already you're better than I was after weeks of practice." She rubbed her sore shoulder and looked around. "Is there anywhere to crash here? I'm beat."

Pixi drank the medicine slowly, then leaned back in her seat, fingering the assassin wire at her belt. "I'm never gonna be good enough for dad to except me..."

Ri suddenly sat up and looked around. "Um...I'm gonna go outside for a few minutes..." She walked out the door and went to the back of the building and saw a shady-looking man leaning against the wall. She walked up to him. "Have you...have you found anything?" She asked. The man shook his head and said, "No, Ri. But you have to accept that he's probably gone." Ri looked away. "No. He's still out there. I just know it. You just gotta believe..."
The man sighed. "I'll be looking. See you around." He walked away. Ri leaned up against the wall and slid down so she was on her a** and stared off into the distance.
