Skyeheart alice the fallen angel Skyeheart DBZJared Skyeheart "There are many stories of many heroes throughout the various lands. But not all end happily. For as powerful a warrior is, the greatest weakness...is himself. A powerful warrior by the name of Jared found that out the hard way...." (I have to go....the period's almost over.)
Jared smiled and clapped his little hands a bit when he heard his name as the warrior.(( GAH oh no .... cliff hanger >_< **hugs** nice meetin yew mistur Sky ^_^ )) (Hey, I'm back.) "Jared was a powerful fighter, raised from birth by a long line of knights. He was an undefeated champion. He took on dragonkin, shades, and even diminsional dark lords like the kind Yawgmoth would be and regined victorious. He lived a very successful life as one of Asarad's greatest heroes and lived a succesful life with many comrades, a beautiful wife, and three children. Of course, when one becomes successful to the extent of hubris, he can easily give birth to arrogence...." ((Why you hate me so much?? Why arent my name in the story? *acts childish*)) (Do you want to be the one who suffers the curse? I think not.) "One day, Jared had just returned from a hunt with his partner Ike. Ike was exhusted and wanted to turn in for the day, but Jared wanted to head to the merc guild and see if there were any new missions. 'Why do always want to go fighting monsters? It's tiring. You're not the only hero you know.''You have no stamina Ike, you'll never be as good as I am if you put that kind of attitude.''There's more to being a hero than fighting monsters you know.'As Ike walked off, Jaren stormed off alone. 'Hmph, what does he know? He's lucky to my comrade. I mean, look at me! I'm the best fighter in all of Asarad. I'm the hero of these parts!''And is all a hero does is fight?' came a raspy unfamilar voice from behind him. "Jared turned, there was a robed person behind him, his face was covered in shadow. 'Who are you?''Do you claim that there is nothing you can defeat?''Give me your answer and I'll give you mine.''hah...your arrogance is beyond words...go to the guild....and take the mission marked in red....if you want to know more...'And with that, he was gone. Jared was confused, did he imagen that person, or was it somekind of magic. But sure enough, when he went to the guild, he found a mission on the board marked in red. The mission stated that an unknown demon had appeared in the hilled forest of Sonag. A demon that killed the nearby villagers for no reason. Jared simply thought nothing of it and set off to complete the mission."

Jared toddled back in and sat down as Skyeheart began his story again, sitting cross-legged on the floor and hugging his teddybear, smiling sweetly up at Skye from behind his pacifier as he listens to the story intently.

"Jared had gone alone. A single demon was nothing to sneeze at, and unknown. Heh, there were lots of creatures that had yet to be identified. As strode into the dark forest at the foothills. There was something about it that seemed different. The trees seemed all withered, and there wasn't a sound, not even a cricket.
Hours passed as he searched. Then he heard a rustle within the dead foilage. Out stepped the same robed person.
'So you came...I was right....you cannot resist the urge to fight.'
'You...you're the demon?'
'I wouldn't consider myself a demon, being that even demons need to draw breath.'
The person pulled off the hood to reveal the most horrible face Jared had ever seen before. Bloodshot eyes, purple fangs that dripped with blood. thin strands of hair flowed down his wrinkled face.
'I am the manifestation of a powerful spell. My existance is caused by a curse, the slayer's curse. And you shall be my next viticm.'
'Hardly.'
Jared attack with all his might, but the fiend fought like he had never before experienced. Cornered aganist the tree, Jared still stood firm after hours of parrying blows.
'I cannot be killed, I do not live, I exist merely to be a killer. But why explain that to you? You know what I mean, you live such a similar life.'
'What rubbish, you think I've lost? Think again! Die!'
And with that, Jared's sword went right through the creature's chest.
'....So....your yearning is even greater than mine.....at last I have found the one worthy to carry on...my power....'
And with that he was gone.
Tired, but triumphant, Jared headed home. Little did he know what had really happened...."
