My french horn sections nickname was created by my aprentice horn player corey. heres the story: in band we would have a person from each section take role to our teacher. our director called the names and we told them who was absent.
BD: Corey role?
corey: everythings Baritoney!
next day..'
BD: Corey!
corey: everythings Tubaey!
next day...
BD: Corey!
Corey: everythings French Horny! *wait... wat?*
and the whole band cracked up.
so now our section is the french hornies. and because of yet another miscommunication, my nickname in band is french whore(n). because myfriend was trying to get my attention and said "hey french horn!" and i turned around and was like... french whore? what!? and everyone laughed. it was great.

There's this one clarinet girl who rarely comes... and when she does come she goes to the bathroom when we play our hard songs... but no one knows her name (we have 3 Amanda's in band) so we call her "Amanda Whatever"
And I usually call our tuba played 'tuba dude" xD

-The night before mb camp started, there was a brassline party and we played capture the flag, high brass vs. low...so when one of the senior trumpets was about to leave, she told me to get into her car so she can sneak me into the other side to free the other people on my team...she did that, and i did that, but this girl on the other team fell a few minutes later and she sprained her knee and so we never got to finish it....so a few months later when t-shirts were coming out my nickname was 'behind enemy lines'....that was fun night...
-this kid's last name is Harder, so for a joke his nickname was going to be 'give it to me'..... stare yes, some people are weird....but it was funny, but since his first name reminded us of pants, we named him 'Jeans'.... neutral

I've only gotten nicknames from the seniors in band and those are: Kiefy and tongstopher ( that one I got because at one of our concession stands I was using a pair of tongs to put hot dogs and hamburgers in their buns that 2 other kids were holding.). It's those nicknames that help distinguish me from the 2-3 other brandons in band.

my nick name 4 band came from band camp. our colorguard instructor went out n got the foam visors..wel mine was a turtle...so my nick name Turtle. each of the girls got one n the nick names we have are Speedy(Meagen who also does baton will run n do ne thing 4 you), Shark(Ashley our captin who will bite ur head off if u get an attitude with er), Pisser(Faith cause she's always in a bad mood), Hanna Banna(Hannah, she already had it) and Rinny Tin Tin(Kristen, she already had it. but yeah i got turtle cause it takes me a while at 1st to get it.

To the band I'm Spaz or Sugar Addict or something about being my being short. My color guard nickname is Queen Maple. Because first I was Fairy Queen and everyone agreed that it didn't fit right. So we changed it to Queen Mab, but I had a cold so everyone thought I said Queen Mad. One practice I was really confused and so was my other friend. Her nickname was already Sugah, so I became Maple. Combining my nicknames we got Queen Maple.
The rest of the color guard are: Lily, Emo Tard, What'sHerBucket, Dr. Mary Poppins, Johanna, Cheesly, Aztec Warrior, and Sugah.

My nickname's Jaymo Narko. I have no idea why, but it stuck, haha.
There's this freshman saxaphone player we all call Thunderstruck because he was hit by lightning as a kid I guess.
At the band camp dance someone requested the song of the same name by AC/DC and Thunderstruck ran out of the hall crying, only to get "Thunderstruck" put on his band hoodie months later. o_O

Well, Pit sets aside a half hour break during summer band camp for nick names, so here the list...
Thu Tran --> Thu-Thu Tran Asian-friend (her name is said like to)
Christine--> Crack baby to crack tod, to crack adolescent.
Hebron--> Tampon-boy (he played with one when he found it in my sister's mallet bag and was like "What is this...?")
Nick--> Spud, cause he's shaped like one.
Leila--> Terrorist.
Ashley--> Newbie or Newbiro. She came a week late.
Me--> Bendy stray, cause I can do the Matrix bend and all kinds of un bendy things...
Jackie--> Pitts
Liz--> (my sister) Mom (she 'adopted' a ton of freshman, who call me 'Auntie')
That was just our section though...
We have a few others..
Staci--> Lippy, cause she talks back and is..well...lippy.
Phillip--> Coz..because people thought he was our cousin.
Dwight--> Dwighty Tighties
Brian-->Chino
Kelley--> Twitchy
And we have a kid we call Gohan, cause he looks like Gohan from DBZ...

This person, who plays percussion in my ensemble, swallowed a fly. Yes, the bug kind of fly that flies around and makes you mad. He was like choking and we let him go to the bathroom. Some [idiot] guy asked,"What was it really?"
The guy who swallowed it was all,"I dunno, it was all crushed up!"
My teacher said,"Thanks for the image!"
....Soon his new name was "Fly swallower." ...Kinda corny.
As for me, I volunteered to cunduct my ensemble one day, and I kept having to correct these people (It was at the beggining of the year. )And my nickname was soon "Ms. Lusk", which is my last name. That's meh band nickname.

High school: we were also called the french whores. I was the only guy and section leader. so I was the pimp. I was also called patches because I had the most patches on my letter jacket, all state band and choir stuff. the first nick name I had was PP. kinda embarrasing but it stood for Perfect Pitch. everyone the first week asked me what note they sang or burped or whatever.
College. the mellos called me GT. everyone in the section but me to this day knows what it stands for.

I have a friend whom i call "Icyhot". That's cause he likes the feeling of an icehot patch to his...p***s...when he...masterbates...
I'M KIDDING. i don't for certain if he does but us trumpets are kinda pervs. and one day we were talking about what it'd be like to have an icehot patch on our...during...and he was like "Oh it feel GRRRREAT!".
And i call all clarinets, REEDSUCKERS.
and trombones, BONERS. Or Bonerblowers.
and i have various nicknames. most of which i can't remember right now and i don't like to be called.
