"I shall teach you to climb trees without using your hands." This comment seemed to raise some alarm in Kama. Apparently the boy hadn't heard of climbing trees like that. He focused his chakra to his feet, thinking of climbing a tree by simply walking up it. Once ready, he looked around for a worthy tree. Once he found the tree, he slowly walked towards it, signaling for Kama to watch. He, with no difficulty, succeeded in climbing the tree with his feet.

He watched in disbelief, not knowing that that was a real technique. He apparently was stupid enough to not consider even the simplest of feats. How could he not have known that? No matter. He was ready. He focused what little chakra he had left into the soles of his feet, worrying about killing himself. He ran towoards a tree, being sure that it wasn't too thin. He then began to run up it.

He ran up it about two feet then began to decline. "No!!" He twisted around just in time to not get hurt. He landed with his arms in a position like a push-up. Thus, he pushed himself up, and wiped the dirt off of his face. He looked up at his sensei who was looking dissapointed. He walked to the center of the clearing, planning to try again. He didn't like to displease people if he didn't have to. He gathered the last of his chakra, and charged at the nearest tree. He ran up it. To his surprise, he stayed!

Hiro entered the classroom. Iruka was standing there, watching him intently. Hiro already knew why he was being scolded as such. He was late. Normally he wouldn't have been, and he didn't know why he was this time. It didn't matter though. He went up to Iruka and asked for his first mission.
"Alright, Hiro. Today you're going to show me exactly how well you can use your genjutsu. Lets try your Bushin jutsu. Go!"
Hiro put his hands togehter to form the seals and closed his eyes. Concentrating his energy, he began to form it in his mind. Then, suddenly he opened up his eyes and quietly announced his technique. With that, he turned into a perfect replica of Iruka. Iruka nodded aprovingly and smiled.
Hiro released the technique and the image dissapeared.

"Nice first go. Now lets see if you can do it again. This time, try to make it look like someone else you know your age."
Hiro nodded lightly in response and set his hands back together again. His mind began searching for someone to use, but he couldn't think of anyone. When a few seconds passed he paniced and then quickly released his chakra, transforming into some girl he had seen on the street. Sadly he had made a major mistake. In his desperate attempt, he had forgotten to pay attention to detail. Being so worried about what it was, and not what it looked like.

Iruka rubbed his head and sighed lightly. Hiro hadn't done so well this time, accidentally keeping his male features for the female body. When he truned back, Iruka tried to think of something else to make him turn into.
"I've got it. How about this time you turn into.. one of the teachers here besides me?"
"Alright, Iruka Sensei, I will try my best. I'm not sure, though.." Hiro replied reluctantly.
Hiro, eager to finish the training for this technique, formed the seal rapidly and then his chakra quickly turning him into the teacher in the next door down. Iruka clapped gently, noticing the perfect detail to the features of the body.
"Good job, Hiro."

"Now that I see you've mastered transforming yourself into humans, how about we see how you work as an animal. How about you start out as.. a wolf."
Hiro eagerly responded. He had practiced on this all morning and he knew he would do it well. Slowly, he positioned his fingers together for the seal and then searched his mind for a perfect example of a wolf.
With a sudden burst of energy, he opened his eyes and he was tranformed into a dark black wolf, its right eyes scarred. Iruka gave him a thumbs up for originality.

"Nice work. However, we both know that it is much easier to transform into an animal close to your size. Here's a challenge: Try to transform into a squirrel."
"Yes, Iruka Sensei."
Hiro thought for a moment before putting his hands together. Squirrels were very hard to replicate because of their difference in size, and the pattern some of them had. What kind of squirrel could he transform into anyway? He didn't have time to think about it for long. Quickly, he formed the seal again and was instant transformed into a small red squirrel. Iruka smiled and then gestured for him to turn back. Hiro obeyed his request and looked at him straight in the eyes like when he first entered.
"Almost done with your training now," Iruka informed him.

"Now you just have to prove you have the skills to do it all. When confronting an enemy, it is sometimes necessary to make yourself look more threatening than your really are. Show me the transformation of some big animal."
Hiro nodded and set his hands together. Closing his eyes, he molded his chakra into the form of a bear around himself, making him transform into that very thing. With a deep bellow and a load roar, Hiro attempted to prove to Iruka that he knew how to do this technique with perfect precision. It worked.

"Good work so far, Hiro. I know you are probably a little tired from using all of that chakra, but you're going to have to bear with me. We're going to work on your substitutions this time. Are you ready, Hiro?"
"Yes, Sensei"
Iruka escorted Hiro outside, and they walked together down a beaten path with gnarled roots all over it. Hiro was not sure what to expect in this exercise, but he did know how to use the technique. When the two of them reached the deepest part of the woods, Iruka pulled out his Kunai.
"Defend yourself, Hiro!"
Hiro's eyes opened a little and he quickly put his hands together, dissapearing in time and replacing himself with a log before Iruka tore into him with the blade.

Neoshin watches the guy from above the roof of the academy as he is in camoflauge spying on all the students that now come in "I should study these students while I can, thier all joining the exams so fast that I have to see for myself why and what thier intentions are."

"Nice job, Hiro! For a second I thought I might have accidentally hurt you."
Hiro laughed stressedly and then stood at attention for the next attack. This time, Iruka pulled out some star shuriken. Hiro, instantly putting his hands together, waited for the attack. He saw Iruka raise his hands, but then Hiro heard the sound of footsteps behind him. He opened his eyes wide and then quickly used the replacement jutsu just in time to not be stabbed in the back by the real Iruka. The log popped in the air and fell to the ground.

supreme_slayer, Your posts are slightly too small. You need to have at least 5 Full lines for them to count. Fix them and they'll be valid, thanks!

The false iruka dissapeared and Hiro sighed heartily. Just then though, Iruka pulled out his real shuriken and threw them for direct hits on Hiro. Responding quickly, Hiro was almost slashed in the cheek before he replaced himself again. Iruka was getting too quick. He wasn't sure if next time he could replace himself in time. Still, he trusted Iruka. He wasn't the kind of person to kill someone. Not on accident, anyway.
