Mia got herself some hot chocolate, and settled back on the couch. "Hi, Steven." she said with a smile when he came in. "So Acione isn;t gonna be back for a while..." She felt a connection of sorts with Acione, the oldest and youngest in the ARM.

Once in the bathroom, Jessica looked around, unsure of what to do. Usually she showered, washed her face, and brushed her teeth, but she had no personal toiletries with her. After opening a few cabinets and drawers in and around the bathroom, she found a towel and took a quick shower without soap or shampoo. She towel-dried her hair and, hoping they wouldn't mind, used somebody's comb to get out the tangles.
When she finished dressing, she stepped out of the bathroom and looked around. There were noises coming from the rec hall; she assumed that's where most people were. Quietly, she slipped in and sat in a chair, observing the activity around her.

"Good morning, Jessica. There's hot chocolate in the kitchen if you want it. Just go through that door there, down the hall, it's on the left." Azalia noticed her wet hair, and smacked her forehead. "I'm so sorry. I should have showed you where we keep the towels and things. Did you find everything alright?"

Steven sluggishly got up to go get himself a cup of hot chocolate then heard Mia say hi then smiled and said," What up kid howed you sleep last night?"

Mia froze. Her face lost a bit of color. Staring into her cocoa, she replied very quietly, "Fine..." She took a slow sip of her hot chocolate, and continued to gaze into it, as if something would pop out of it at any moment.

Jessica gave Azalia a small smile. "I found what I needed," she replied softly, then continued to observe. It wasn't necessarily that she was shy, just observant. She would warm up to a group of people after a while, but at first, she observed their behavior.
((Gaa!! I'm having vocabulary brain-farts tonight. xp ))

Azalia decided she would go up and get dressed. She went up to her room, and opened her worn, patched curtains. There was no window underneath, of course, the bunker walls were too thick for that. She had instead gathered several roll up maps and overhead screens from an abandoned school building near the HQ. She had painted them different times of day and different kinds of weather, so she could change them depending on her mood. She decided to pull down the sunshine one, and changed into jeans and a tee shirt.

Steven walked back to the rec hall sipping his hot chocolate then saw that the new girl was there and decided to show her some kindness.He smiled at her then said,"Hey there so how do you like it here so far.Oh and by the way the names Steven whats yours?

"Well, I'll be back in little while guys." Ruby said to those still in the rec. room. She went to the bathroom and pulled her things out of her bag. Today she had brought stuff to take a shower, since she didn't have that chance at home. She took a shower and put on clean clothes, and began to brush out her long hair.

"I'm Jessica. It's okay," she replied softly, indifferently. In truth, she wasn't yet sure what to make of this new place and these new people. All she knew was instinct was telling her not to go home. She wondered what was going on with her parents.

Mia was still staring at her hot chocolate, listening. She kept spacing out, shaking her head slightly every time she realized it. But she couldn't stop losing focus. What's going on with me today? she thought miserably.

Azalia came back into the rec room. "Leftovers for breakfast, everyone." She announced. She was too lazy to cook this morning. She flopped on the couch she had been sitting on earlier, and looked around at everyone.

Ruby finally got her hair brushed out, and she put it up in a loose bun so that it was out of her way and wouldn't get dirty as quickly. She went into the kitchen and heated up a plate of leftovers. She went to the rec room and began to eat, as she had heard Azalia tell the others leftovers is what they would be having.
Ruby noticed Mia staring into her hot chocolate like something might come out of it and eat her, and then Mia shaking her head. "Mia, you okay?" Ruby asked between bites of breakfast.
