Zelos just carried Izuno on his shoulder as they ventured. The ground somewhat shaking as he walked because of his gerth.
Mari just held onto Smash's hand as they followed the two new people that they met.

*a portal opened and smash emerged as it closed behind him. he looked around to see if zelos and izuno was there. he figured that they would be pretty easy to spot*

Zelos was sitting in the middle of the park, near the forest edge with Izuno on his shoulder. He had his legs crossed indian style and was still wearing his mask. He looked up and seen Smash, but didn't see Mari with him wondering what that was about.

i was wonder when you'd show up. where's mari?
*he rubbed the back of his head, unsure what to say*
she just isn't feeling like fighting today so she didn't want to come.

Zelos looked over at Izuno to see her reaction of this news. He wanted to know what was wrong. Whether she was sick or something. It didn't seem to make sense to him.

what do you mean she doesn't feel like it? she said that she would.

Zelos could tell he wasn't too willing to fight, but was more concerned that an argument was going to break out between Izuno and Smash. He stood up and just stayed standing near Izuno incase the argument got worse. He wanted to know what happened as well to make him lose motivation, but figured he would say so sooner or later.

yes you are. it's obvious that there's something going on and now you don't want to fight us. it's just sad cause finnaly i thought i found a friend but it seems she wont show up for a little fight.
*she hopped onto zelos's shoulder and sat down*
come on big guy. let's go. there's no point fighting when the heart isn't in it.

Zelos didn't want to leave quite yet and was still confused. He didn't move and just looked down at Smash. Something struck him and he wondered about it. He didn't move and glanced over at Izuno who seemed angry. He then tried to say to the best of his abilities and tried to think of how to word what he needed said in sign language. He then started to move his hands and signing to her. 'Did they get into a fight?'

He nodded and then started signing to her again. 'Understandable. Work it out and get back to us.' He then thought a bit more and added, this time only to Izuno. 'Don't be so angry. You wouldn't want to fight either if you were in a bad mood.'

Zelos nodded then pointed in the direction of the hot springs. They stayed in the forest near them because Zelos would use them to help with his body. He was telling Izuno to tell Smash where he could find them.

Zelos just looked down at Smash and held his hand down for a sort of hand shake, even though the only thing he could grab was his finger. More or less he was telling him good luck with the fight because he might need it. He didn't know the circumstances of why they were fighting, but it usually ended up that the girl would hit harder. He knew from the fights he had with Izuno when they had them. They might not be relationship fights, but it was still the fact that a woman always has to have the last word. He felt empathy for the man and wanted to at least wish him luck with it.
