Keilantra's vision soon became blurry and room started to spin.Faintly she heard Kai speak. It took all her small amout of concentration to turn her head and look at who was speaking to her.As her eyes darkened slightly she felt nauseated as she caught Rits doing his little spins. Not thinking logically, Keilantra attempted to walk to the bathroom.Stumbling onto the floor directly in front of her stool, she was greeted with the smell of oak and burnt cigaretts.Hair fallen infront of her eyes, hands stretched out on either side of her, and body flung in an uncomfortable position, she proceeded to laughing. Why a sane person would find themselves tripping funny, was unclear.Of course she wasn't exactly sane at that moment.Flopping around so she was on her back, she barely achieved in sitting up.Flipping her hair back like a ten-year old, Keilantra's head tilted up and she gave a toothy grin towards Ritsuka."Rits!"Her voice rang with a childish tone.Keilantra then continued with crawling towards his stool and clinging to it, attempting to stand up.Her foot slid once she was up, but miraculously she caught herself.Unwillingly draping herself over Ritsuka she fell down again.Ok, so she was clearly had never drank before, seeing as how she had gotten drunk off of one sip.

Kai blinked, glancing back at Ritsuka quietly. Then he shrugged, finishing the last of his second bottle of beer. He prompty tossed it into the nearest trash can, nearly hitting someone in the head, and reached out for his third. With the bartender staring at his bloodied chest, it was quite easy for him to snatch it unnoticed. "You shoulda," he replied bluntly to Ritsuka, and then began downing the third beer. "An' I am havin' fun." He was starting to sound a little drunk, by now...

Ryuzaki simply shrugged, shifting his attention towards the female neko as she toppled over and fell flat. He blinked, yet his face still remained emotionless, even as he spoke. "...You ok?" he asked quietly, head tilting slightly. He pulled his other hand from his coat now, but didn't move as he saw Keilantra slowly getting back up, and leaning across the smaller neko male, who she'd called... Rits? Was that his name? He shrugged off the thought, watching until she'd gotten up. It was kind of sad, really. She'd just taken that one sip, hadn't she?

Kai shook his head, halfway through his third bottle. "Pa-hetic," he scoffed, attempting to say pathetic, and failing slightly.

Sawyer quietly entered the bar, as he peered around at the massive amount of people inside. Sawyer quietly walked towards the bar, making his way in by some guy that couldn't really say the word pathetic. He smiled to himself as he ordered a glass of ginger ale and vodka, on the rocks. He quietly began to drink his order as it slid down the bar to his hand. Downing it quickly, he placed the empty glass back on the bar and smiled. He was gonna like it here alot more than he thought.

"Don't cry now. Hush... it's alright." The woman spoke comfortingly, her hands moving in a rubbing motion on Hitomi's back. Of course.. Hitomi couldn't feel it... yet she could. "It isn't your fault, Hitomi. You did nothing to harm me." The woman added. Of ocurse... she knew it was Hitomi's brother and her own son, Ryuu, that was to blame. "But on the otherhand... I understand that you have felt so guilty for so long... and I forgive you. I ask that you forgive me for not being there when you needed me..."

Hitomi let out a sigh, the hands on her back comforting. She listened carefully, noding her head when she was forgiven for nothing. "I... I forgive you.. mom..." She managed to whimper. She let go of her mother's legs, ans stood up on her feet. She was just as tall as her mother, and she could look into her eyes, and tell her what she had to say. For now, however, she just smiled.

The woman wiped away Hitomi's tears, soon grabbing her daughter's hands and smiled, saying, "What a fine yound lady you've grown to be. I'm so proud of you, Hitomi." she gave a small laugh.

"I've yet to be a wonderful person like you, mom. But I have knews for you!" Hitomi chimed, her mother tilting her head to the side as if asking what the news was. Hitomi sighed, as she pulled her hands away from her mother's and folding them behind her back. "Well... I'm getting married." Hitomi said, and her mother smiled. "I know. To Shinku Zetsumei, right?" Hitomi nodded, and her mother continued, "Yes... he may seem cold on the outside, but you know his softer side. Best of luck to you."

Hitomi nodded, kissing her mother on the cheek. "You probably have to go now, huh?" Her mom nodded, but Hitomi gave a gentle smile. "Goodbye mom. I'll miss you." She watched as her mother waved goodbye, slowly dissappearing. And with that, Hitomi was alone.

"I... probably will... never remember this."

Saraneth hissed softly as a blade of sorcery stabbed into her chest. God... these thing could be so annoying... the dream was ending. She has to seal the spell... Her arms felt numb from all the energy coursing through her. White necromancy was a difficult art to begin with... especially for a person who was only a tangent to the art, not one born with the talent. Saraneth reached out and slowly wrote the glowing sign of the wizard's knot in mid air, scrawled in blue light. The entire room was blinded in white illumination for several seconds, and then it all faded. Saraneth looked pale. Even for a slightly tanned person, she looked sheetwhite now, like she was going to die any second... but she smiled, knowing the spell worked. Cuts slashed across her body, but that no longer mattered for the moment. Part of her mind completely shut down for the time being, and she was temporarily paralyzed from the waist down. With a smile grin at Shinku, she fell unconscious with her eyes open and glazed over. She looked like a corpse, but she was alive... just barely.

"Shinku sighed and situated Saraneth in the booth carefully, laying her on her back in her side. He then tried tending to her wounds a little bit, and wrapped them afterward, then sat next to Hitomi, putting his hand on her's lightly, waiting for her to awaken.

Shepard put Miaya down outside the bar. He opened the door and was assualted by the noise of music and people talking. He looked at Miaya and smiled. " Come on. I'll buy you a soda or something" he said walking inside. It was rather a strange feeling in this bar and raceclub. So much diffrent energies and people. This place was full of people with diffrent powers and such. Somehow this surpised Shepard since he thought mostly mormal folk would go here.

Miaya looked around quickly and smiled at him "okay" she said as she followed him inside, her gaze travelling around as she looked around at her new surroundings and the other people there. She had never been to a place quite like it; She became amazed and yet timid and shy at the same time, it was a strange and new feeling for her to be experiencing.

Shepard took Miaya's hand so they wouldn't get lost in this place. He saw no open tables so they had to sit at the bar. " A coke and get whatever this fine girl" Shepard said smiling at Miaya. He looked around the bar again feeling uneasy for some reason. Like he was being watched. Like he was being hunted...

Miaya blushed slightly by what Shepard had said. " um.. A d-diet coke please." Miaya said stuttering a bit, becoming completely embarrassed for having done so. "Is everything okay?" she asked Shepard, having noticed that he had been looking around as if something was wrong.

" No. Nothing it wrong. Its just that I have never been around this many people before" he said. He watched as there drinks arrived. He took sips of his coke and noticed Miaya was blushing a bit. "I didn't embarsse you did I?" he said putting on one of his cocky smiles.
PostPosted: Mon Jan 01, 2007 7:49 pm

"I know what you mean" Miaya said looking back at the crowd, even she throughout all of her travels had never seen so many people in one place. Miaya's face turned an even brighter red, as she blushed even more when she realized he had noticed by having said something about it... " I-I.... n-no y-you d-didn't." she said growing even more embarassed from stuttering once more, she quickly took a few sips of her diet coke hoping to avoid the topic, and at the same time hoping she wouldn't end up choking.

Hiro blinked as he watched Kestrel carefully, but yet he was awestruck. What Kestrel did was truly amazing, and Hiro knew that he could never imitate. He could tell that her spell worked... but she needed rest. She looked just like a corpse, and that was a clue that she really needed some sleep. So, he hopped over the table to where Kestrel was resting, adn curled up on her stomache. He purred lightly, closing his eyes slowly.

Hitomi groaned, giving a small squeeze to Shinku's hand. She stretched her legs out, arching her back slightly. She then opened her eyes slowly, the first thing she saw being the nearly dead Kestrel on the opposit side of the booth. A feeling of guild brushed Hitomi over. "Sorry..." she whispered, squeezing Shinku's hand again. She let go, then pushing herself up. Of course... she had to get used to the colored, whispy substances that roamed around the air near a specific person... or an aura, as it was called.

"No... Don't be..." Shinku said gently, giving her a slight smile as he watched her push herself up. "Kestrel's not exactly looking too good... We should stay to make sure she doesn't et attacked in her sleep... But I'll warn you... We may get rushed out of here with Kestrel unconscious because of what's happening..." He warned. "But if that time comes... We should at least be relaxed and rested..." He said simply. He believed in staying rested before any possibility of conflict happened.

Hitomi sighed, nodding. On the run, huh... she thought silently, looking at her feet. On the other hand though... she was so excited! She could finally see without relying on someone else to do it for her! "I... I'm so happy, Shinku! I can see!" Hitomi chimed excitedly, giving Shinku a big hug, resting her head on his chest.

Her hands grabbed his and she smiled. "And if we end up running... I'll be prepared." She added, closing her icey-blue eyes. Of course, she wasn't sleeping; just relaxing. "Thanks for staying with me... all this time..." She whispered, giving him a soft kiss.
