Kohaku managed to stop the tears from rolling down his face, but he couldn't garuntee that they wouldn't come back. When she dragged out "'kay", he bit his lip, feeling the warm tears on his shoulder. She... seemed to lack love... or at least, when she was growing up. Maybe even now. He felt usefull, however, being clung on to by Kisa.

"D-don't be sorry!" He replied quickly to Kisa's apology. "Y-you didn't d-do anything wr-wrong!" He managed to choke. It was almost... funny. It was funny how Kohaku sounded, and how he barely knew Kisa, and how she barely knew him. Everything felt... in place, however. It felt right to be comforting Kisa at this moment. "I... I'm sorry... but... thank you. I feel so... lonely. I feel guilty... and I feel... hurt." Kohaku admitted as he kept Kisa close as she cried. He winced as his eyes stung once more.

"K-Kisa.." he stammered, "I-I p-promise to... to be around wh-when you need someone, o-ok-kay?" He finished, wiping his eyes once more. "I-I don't know you th-that w-well, b-b-but... I don't like it when.. y-you're s-sad."

Daisuke smiled, nodding his head. "Sure. I bet Kohaku could help. Hell, he might even have something that can do that already. You never know." Daisuke responded. He remembered from back at Ria where he was accused of cursing... when he didn't even know what it was. He... apparently learned.

Kisa fell silent for a moment, her shoulders shaking lighlty with silent sobs as she continued crying. She couldn't cut it off that easily. She just listened quietly to him, seeming to delay in actually registering what was being said. When she did understand, her face only flushed darker, though it was still hidden against him. A few seconds later, she finally ventured to raise it.

Her eyes were slightly wide, still a deep blue and now flecked obviously with pink. She stared unblinkingly, and then very slowly, a weak smile came to her face. "K-kay.." she said quietly, her voice a little shaky. She wiped her eyes, despite the rain still falling on her face. Her hair was wet, as well as her clothing, but of which were clinging to her skin. The fur on her tail appeared unkempt and wild.

But she kept smiling, weakly, as she very slowly nodded her head. "That means..." she replied softly. "I'll be... I'll be around if... if you're sad." She glanced down, embarrassed.

Kurri's tail flicked once, then settled against his side as he let his eyes close. "You think Kohaku could help? That'd make things easier." He wouldn't have to go searching for someone blindly. He smirked faintly at the word Daisuke used, also recalling the past event.

Kohaku nodded, he just as wet as Kisa, if not wetter. He smiled, a small pink tint on his cheeks. He saw the flecks of pink in her eyes, and he had pretty much figured out her eye colors and meanings. She then looked back down, so Kohaku let go hesitantly, but slowly. He put a hand on top of her head, right between her ears, and he gave a broad grin. "You know, I like it a lot better when you smile, Kisa-san." Kohaku told her.

He gave a small shiver, cold from the wet clothing that stuck to his body. "Thanks. I give you my trust, Kisa... or should I call you 'Kitty'?" He joked, removing his hand from the top of her head. he gave her a quick hug, and he stood up. He stretched, then offered his hand to help Kisa up. "We should go in, huh? But wow... we're wet!" Kohaku said happily, his expression softening towards Kisa. "Be happy, though! Let's have that happy green color return to your eyes, 'kay?"

Kisa closed one eye as she felt his hand upon her head, and peeked up at him quietly. One ear perked lightly, the other flattened back a little. She stared, then slowly nodded her head. "R-right.." she said quietly. She rubbed at her eyes but the blue didn't fade just yet. It'd take a least a little bit of time. She'd let herself get really down.

"But I'm a wolf," she protested lightly, wrinkling her nose. She flushed again at the small hug, but slowly got to her feet, wrapping her arms lightly around herself. She was kind of cold now too, she was realizing. But of course she was, since she was soaked and all. Her ears twitched, flicking a small bit of water off of them, and she looked up at him. He was kind of tall, she noted. "..will they let us back in?"

[Psh... uhm.. I forgot Kohaku's height! xP;; It's... over 6 foot, I think. xD]

Kohaku nodded, and he said happily, "I know, I know! I only tease." He grinned, and then paused at Kisa's question. "That... that's a good question." He replied, looking down at his clothes, then at Kisa's. They were... soaked, and they even clung to their skin! Wow, this was.., quite the predicament. He noticed the rain had stopped, and the clouds moved away slightly.

"Kisa..." He started, looking up at the sky, "are you afraid of heights?" He asked quietly. He held out his hand once more, and he smiled. "If you don't mind... we could dry off a lot faster." Kohaku suggested, blinking. He didn't seem sick like he did earlier.

Daisuke's ears twitched, and he could hear Kohaku and Kisa better than earlier. They were going to... what? Wait, they were gonna fly! Daisuke peered out the window and saw that they were soaked to the bone. "Kurri..." Daisuke grinned boyishly, "It's working." He muttered, so he was sure that Kisa didn't hear. "And yes, I'm positive Kohaku can help."

[I think I remember it being 6'1" xD]

Kisa glanced down at herself, then at him. They really were absolutely drenched, water was even dripping from her clothing. It wasn't very comfortable wither, and was actually a little cold. Ok, more than just a little. She rubbed at her arms, then glanced back to Kohaku when he said her name.

"E-eh?" she stammered, eyes widening slightly. Heights? She hesitated, then slowly shook her head. "No, I'm... not." Actually, she was a little. But she wanted to know what it was like to fly. She'd kind of figured out that was his intent.

Kurri raised his head slightly, peering out at the hopefully soon to be couple as well. He smiled lightly, and tilted back to look at Daisuke. "Well, this is good," he said. "Both things."

[Eh, however whatever, he's tall. xD]

Kohaku smiled, and he put his arm behind Kis, and his other arm under her knee's. He lifted her up slowly, and in a blink, his wings were back. "Ready he asked gently, making sure that Kisa had a good grip before he jumped up. His white wings giving a couple strong flaps. Air flew into the inn through the opened door, and he counted down from 3. "Three... two... one!" On one, he jumped, but not very high. He howevered, and then, he went up slowly. However, the pace of going up became steadily faster.

"Y-you okay?" He gasped, examining the sky. His and Kisa's head popped over the clouds, and his blue eyes examined the sun. The clouds in the distance were tainted with pinks and oranges, reds and yellows. It was... so pretty. "Wooww.." Kohaku whispered in awe, his eyes wide and boyish. He then looked at Kisa, much drier than she was before, and he smiled. "Isn't it beutiful, Kisa?" He asked.

[xD My tall friends pat me on the head, and Kisa was patted on the head, so it made me smile. xD]

Kisa flushed again as she was picked up, unable to help herself. She immediately clung to him, not used to not having her feet firmly and safely upon the ground. But even so, she didn't protest and when he asked if she was ready, she nodded her head. She listened to his countdown, kind of tense and getting nervous, but still keeping silent and not complaining. She wanted to see what it was like. That's what she kept telling herself so she wouldn't back out, at least.

And then he suddenly lifted off, and she was in the sky. Her eyes widened, and she quickly pressed her face against him, holding on more tightly as if hiding would make her feel better. Her stomach had dropped and she inhaled deeply to recover it. She timidly lifted her head as he asked her condition, and she smiled meekly. "I-I'm fine," she choked out, and forced herself to stare around.

Though, once she was looking, she was transfixed. Her eyes widened, slowly but surely shifting from blue to green. She even ventured to reach out with one hand, waving it around the moist cloud, before grabbing onto him again. "It is beautiful.." she breathed. "And slightly... famliar." She then turned to stare at his face. "Could a wolf have wings?" she asked quietly.

[Haha... that makes me happy. xD]

Kohaku made sure that he wouldn't drop Kisa, keeping her close to his body, as she clung to him anyways. when she replied that she was fine, he blinked, and he laughed. "Are you sure that you weren't scared?" He chuckled, shaking his head. He went a little higher so he wasn't in the clouds anymore, and he gave a content grin as he listened to her carefully.

"Familiar, eh?" He asked, wondering how that was so. Could... she be remembering this from a past life? She was... a wolf demon, wasn't she? then again, there was possibilty that she had a different line of blood besides human and wolf demon. He was on thought for a long time, it seemed, and he then looked at Kisa. "It's possible, believe it or not." Kohaku told her, and he looked back towards the sun. "Really, anything is possible... anything can happen if you work for it. I think... the only thing we can't change is all the wrong in the world today. Not everyone would put their best effort for it. People's views are different, and stuff like that. However... a wolf could have wings." He told her confidently.

"Even though I just met you... I feel very attached to you and Daisuke and Ayame. Especially you, Kisa..." He told her happily giving her a quick glance. "I think... we can relate to each other. I really do..." He paused, and he took in a breath. The air was so much fresher way up here, and it made Kohaku feel relaxed and calm. It was... wonderous. "I was suprised... to tell the truth, whne you told me that you'd never had someone to call your own. I mean, a lot of guys would fall for you, you know?" He told her, grinning.

"A... lot of guys..."

[xD It makes me feel short.]

Kisa reluctantly shook her head. "Actually, no..." she admitted, and smiled lighty. "But I'm fine now. Kinda." It was a little obvious she wasn't entirely fine, or she wouldn't be clinging to him so tightly. She knew he wouldn't drop her, but she still couldn't let herself relax. She was in the air, above the clouds, depending on just this person to keep her safe. She felt very unstable with nothing under her feet.

She peered around again, then quickly focused back upon Kohaku when he began to reply. She listened intently, not missing a word. Her hopes lifted a bit, and she felt a strange fluttering feeling in her stomach, like butterflies when one becomes nervous. She wasn't very nervous though... was she? Now she wasn't sure. But she nodded her head, looking slightly relieved, and hopeful. "Ok..." she said softly.

At his next words, she fell completely silent again, staring at his face with a slightly surprised expression upon her own. But then she suddenly laughed, a little awkwardly, trying to cover up her embarrassment and keep the blush from rising into her cheeks. "No," she disagreed. "No one would, eh... But I could say the same for you, right? You seem liked you'd have.. had someone."

[Doh.]

Kohaku listened carefully, and he quickly shook his head. "No, No.." Kohaku laughed, "Never had anyone..." He told her, giving her a quick grin. "You have a bit of a strange laugh when you're embarrassed." He told her, knowing that she was trying to cover herself up. "Sorry.." He muttered, shaking his head.

He sighed, and he let out a low, short hum. "I think we're dry enough, ne?" He told Kisa, and he nodded his head once to the sun, and he slowly descended to the ground. A strong gust of wind came his way, however, from the front. He was lown back a little, keeping tight grip on Kisa. He shook his head, his eyes blinking a few times. "Strong... wind..." He gasped, and he felt his feet reach the ground.

Gently, he dropped Kisa back down on her feet, but he felt a little wobbly from the lack of usage of his feet. He then brushed off his clothing, now dry. "Well, that was fun." He told Kisa, noticing that she was much happier than she was earlier. "Your eyes are more green than they were a while ago..." He told her happily, and he gave her a quick pat on the head and his wings were once more gone. He then walked back into the inn, waiting for Kisa to follow.

Kisa flushed lightly at the comment about her laugh, knowing it to be true. Her voice went a little more high pitch than usual when she was embarrassed, and so did her laugh. Obviously, it would sound funny. "I-it's ok," she stammered her reply, and glanced around them once more, ears twitching as she heard his hum.

Then she faced him again, blush still faint on her cheeks, and slowly nodded her head. "Yes, thank you," she replied with a small smile. She was very dry by now, and glad to be. She wasn't cold anymore either. Though, that could very well be because they were so.. close. But she didn't let go, too nervous. She even clung a little tighter at the gust of wind.

Soon her feet were back upon the ground, and she waved her arms once to regain her balance, before looking up at him. She smiled a little more warmly at the comment about her eyes, nodding her head. "Thanks to you," she replied kind of happily, ears flattening away from his hand at the pat. She trailed along behind him towards the inn, tail wagging very slightly behind her.

[And... A few months pass. xD And... roleplaying place changes too. Mabey the fields again? It's... peaceful there. I like it. xD]

[Oh... and... Daisuke and Ayame won't be... dragged along this time.]

Otogi packed all her id's and stuff away in the new bag that she had purchased from a nice young man. Lucky for her he didn't seem to mind much that she was a sphynx. Opening up her wings Otogi flapped them furiously as her body lifted up off the ground. Heading off towards a strange place she had seen earlier. Hopefully she would be able to find a way to gain a human form so that she wouldn't be so...awkward...
