[Aww... she's not a halfbreed. ;-;]

Kana lurched away when he suddenly awoke, eyes wide as she sat there almost stunned for a couple seconds. Her eyes took in everything at once, which was mainly his bloody forehead and back. She seemed to focus upon those more than anything, but jumped again when he shouted once more.

She suddenly clamped a hand over her nose and mouth, wide eyes staring at him. The scent of blood was nearly overwhelming, and she was starting to grow dizzy. Not to mention the memories that were coming back to her. Her ears were both drooping and flattened back at the same time, but she tried to ignore them, about to speak until he shouted at her.

She jumped again, inched backwards, and then froze to simply stare at him for a moment or two. "But are you..." she began meakly. "Are you.. ok?"

[Dragon talking! Not me! ^^;; ]

Kana seemed almost disoriented when Katsu awoke. She swayed like she was about to fall over, and clamped a hand over her nose and mouth.

She froze. "But are you... are you... okay?" she asked cautiously.

"You should be thankful you are!" he yelled. "Christ, how stupid are you?!" He shut his eyes and grimaced, the pain returning.

Katsu took several deep breaths. "Kana, I'm a very dangerous person..." he opened his eye and looked directly into hers. "Unless you want to be killed I suggest that you run. Quickly, and far." He shut his eyes again, and tilted his head towards the ground. How close was the dragon to going for another attempt? Kana'd been lucky twice, but three times a charm...

[Haha, ok.. ^^;]

Kana flinched visibly, no matter how hard she tried to hide it. She felt stupid now and, to make matters worse, she actually felt tears forming in her eyes. She wiped at them, trying to hide them but failing horribly as she stared back at him. Was he just like those from home? Just another bully? But he was telling her to leave so...

"B-but you... I..." she began, failing with both attempts to speak. So then she seemed to give up and bit her lip, just staring at him silently for a couple seconds.

And then she finally gave one short nod of her head and pushed herself up, backing up a few steps until her back hit the door. Then she paused once more before spinning to her side and disappearing down the hallway, leaving just the faint sounds of her barefeet against the tilted floor echoing behind her.

But as she reached the exit to the building, she suddenly froze, just standing in the doorway. She glanced over her shoulder and stared down the hallway, biting her lip anxiously. She felt horrible leaving him but... he'd told her to leave, and he was scary, but he was also hurt... She frowned, shutting her eyes tightly as she tried to decide what to do. She was swaying slightly in place though, trying not to let the scent of blood overwhelm her. She felt like throwing up..

Kana flinched, obviously hurt by Katsu's advice. He could see her mind churning over what she should do. She began to stutter something, but decided against finishing the sentence.

Pushing herself up, Kana backed away from Katsu, seemingly afraid to turn her back to him. When she reached the door - which, ironically, was right next to the gaping hole in the wall - she slipped through it and vanished.

Katsu sighed and stood up. He brushed himself off, causing a small storm of flying particles of drywall.

He was glad she was gone. For her own sake. Katsu was sure he would have either killed her or done something worse...

He strode to the wall opposite the exit, dodging around an upturned desk. Placing his hand on the wall, he closed his eyes and concentrated. The wall begin to melt, as an intense heat poured forth from his palm. When a sufficiently large hole was melted, Katsu let his hand drop down and he slipped out and into an adjoining classroom.

"If you could see me, I wonder whether you'd retract that statment," Tenza mused outloud. This was the first thing she had said to this starnger, and she said it because while she was not exactly ashamed of her wings, they made for too much of an icebreaker. In fact, it was always that and her history she wanted to talk about, "Anyway, if you can sense through this, which you obviously can, then you know perfectly well that it's no use me trying to trick you with this simple illusion. I bet even you could do it, if you put your mind to it!" Tenza laughed at this, as even she could sense that this man knew little to nought about the fine art of illusionry, preferring the strength of necromancy and...healing? That was a little unusual, as most necromancers Tenza had heard of cared nothing for the hurt of others, instead often the cause of it. But maybe it was to heal himself...Tenza mused over this for a while, her black eyes unfocused and staring through the man's head, off into the middle distance. Suddenly, realising quite what was in front of her, she brought herself back to herself, "So, mystery stranger who wishes me to reveal myself, what's is your name?" She tried to keep a straight face as she said this, but failed, miserably, as by the end of the question she was grinning. Tenza wasn't even sure why she wanted to keep a straight face, as he couldn't even see her.

Damian smiled abit as he stood there. Chuckling abit to himself.

"Hmn...Well so long as your nor blood has not been soiled then we will be just fine. I think I am rather tolerant of other races..but I hate human animal combinations for races..such lowly beasts... In any case I never had a use for illusionary magic. I rather enjoy raising the dead instead."

Damian seemed to snap out of his thoughts of how much he hated races like nekos and anthros. He turned his head slightly towards where the young woman would be.

"Now why would a pretty young lady like yourself want to hide her looks anyway?"

Damian still hadn't seen her without that invisibility spell yet and was trying to coax her into putting it down so that he could get a good look at her.

Unhooking her knees from the branch she had been hanging from, Tenza dropped onto the ground, and stood in front of this man, this vampire. Hmm..., she wondered, do I count as an animal/human half-mix? I'm not, but would he see that?

Taking time out from talking, Tenza fell to studying this starnger. Why was he so interested with her? She knows she tempted him by not showing herself, and reading over his shoulder, but most people would give up by now, storming off in a huff. Shows what type of people she knew. Tenza laughed, both mentally and outloud. Very friendly, nice poeple. That's the type she knew, "Not..." she whispered, contradicting her thoughts.

Rising out of her reverie, Tenza replied, "You answer my questions first. then I may consider thinking about telling you why I hide. Who are you? Why are you so interested in me? Why do you want to see me?" Do you dislike animal/human hybrids simply because their blood tastes funny to you?

Damian smiled abit. Keeping his arms crossed over his chest as he looked up. She was infront of him now.

"Alright then..My name is Damian DeMarcus. I am a vampire who has come to Mirandal to brush up on my skills..And the reason I am interested in you should be quiet simple..your approuch after all. Its not to often you run into someone with such abilitys as Illsusion. Besides..That was pretty bold of you to start reading over my shoulder..I take it you found something interesting in me as well since you decided to follow me out here..Of course.."

Damian tossed his hair to the side and chuckled abit to himself.

"I knew you'd follow. Your naturally abit of a curious creature aren't you? The reason I want to see you is quiet..well..simple as well..I want to gaze upon you..see what you look like. And to answer your other question No..I hate human animal hybrids because they are unnatural in my eyes. What human would ever want to go get close to such filthy creatures..They should be wiped out from existance. Or..At the very least..used as slaves..Put to work to make the lives of humans, angels and demons even easier..Of course..the only human animal hybrid I approve of is werewolves..because they have been around before the whole..Mixing of bloods..started..."

"So you are saying that animals, the very thing all life is spawned from, is disgusting and filthy? Or do you mean the fact the animals chose to mix with the filthy humans? Clarify." But, even with all these words, Tenza could not help herself. She was even more intruiged than before., "But, for all your contraversial views, I think you can see me," Why was she doing this? No idea, save the fact that her curiosity ran wild, and had been hungry for a very long time. Sighing, she brought down the invisibilty, standing before this stranger, this Damian DeMarcus, this vampire.
There was the sound of leather rustling in the wind,s, of bulging pockets straining, of two people staring at each other, of breathing and hearts, of the tree bracnhes swaying. Tenza's black hair, fell about her eyes, and she brushed it away irritably. The bad thing about the particualar spell she had been using is that it made everything else look kind of hazy. Now she could get a proper look at Damian. His eyes. Why were his eyes so steely, so cold?
Tenza sighed, "Sometimes haziness can be a good thing, along with ignorance..." she said quietly.
PostPosted: Wed Dec 13, 2006 1:35 pm

"They do say that ignorance is bliss. To which I would have to agree. And to clarifye I dislike animals. I believe they are nothing but beasts used to serve humans. As for the human animal combinations..I can not see why anyone would want to soil their superior bloodline..I sense you believe in Darwins theory of evolution..It is an interesting theory indeed..Though we still have not seen it proven correct..I may be a vampire but I still don't truely know how life formed in this universe..and viewing so many different opinions about it is quite..Well..to say the least its interesting. And my dear..Let me just say that you shouldn't hide yourself..Just as I suspected your quiet lovely. Its a shame that you would hide yourself under such a spell."

Damians eyes continued to look at her..though he seemed to be looking at her in a harsh fashion his voice told something different. His voice seemed to be abit warm..so which was he? Cold and heartless..or warm and gentle under a tough exterior..Who could really tell from this man.

An enigma. That's what this vampire...man was. His eye, so cold, yet his voice...warm and friendly. No doubt it was all some ploy to get her to trust him, or like him, or something, "But if I hide myself from the world, they see what I want them to see, not what I reallly am. Which coupled with my history, means I often have to hide, or...tell a little story," Tenza paused, seeing what Damian would make of this, "Do you read manga?"
PostPosted: Fri Dec 15, 2006 10:48 am

Damian smiled and watched Tenza with abit of curiosity. He silently crossed his arms over his chest. Watching her as if he were watching a small child. It wasn't anything bad, thats just how he observed other creatures and looked at them most of the time.

"Ah but there are many that can see threw illusions. Not all..But some..."

Damian pushed himself off the tree he had been leaning against and stepped over to Tenza. His shoes crunching the grass beneath him as he stepped up to her. Grabbing her hand in his, she would notice that it was incredibly could, almost like ice..but then again he hadn't had blood in such a long time. But pushing that thought aside Damian brought her hand up and placed a soft kiss gently onto the top of her hand.

"I don't believe that a young woman should ever have to hide in the shadows of oblivion...Your life has obviously had much hardships..I can tell by the way you react to me..your untrusting..Of course..thats not a bad thing. But it tells me more about you then you know..."

Damian let Tenza's hand gently slip from his as he stood up fully once more to look down upon her.

"It really is a pity when a woman feels the need to hide herself.."

He shook his head in dismay before turning his attention back to Tenza as she asked her last question.

"Manga? Manga manga..Oh yes..the japanese comic books and graphic novels. I have collected a couple..the artwork is beautiful to me but I haven't read them..Well..Most I haven't read anyway..Though I have found a distinct liking to the one called Seimaden..A love story about a demon trying to keep the love of his life safe while battling other forces of darkness as well as a young man named Rodrick, I believe, whom wishes to keep the woman to himself. Hmn..Yes..my favorite part of that manga has to be that..The man in power..the main character..Laures..has an angel for a slave..."

In a far back and more secluded area of the courtyard, sat Kana Oshiru. Her ears were currently drooping and her tail wrapped around her waist as she sniffled and wiped her eyes. The neko was still upset about what had happened earlier, and feeling more horrible with each passing second for abandoning someone while they were injured. Yes, he had shouted at her to leave, but she still felt guilty. She should've stayed! She could've offered some form of help, right?

But for now, she sat huddled in the upper branches of a tree, back to the trunk and knees pulled tightly to her chest, one hand clutching a silver locket she wore. The extremely hyper teen was currently feeling rather depressed.

Maeniel stumbled int the west courtyard holding his head as dried blood was on his hands. The pain of a throbbing headache promised to return quickly and with great vengence as well. Maeniel syeadied himself on a tree nearby that looked to be in threes but his vision wasnt quite accurate at the time. "Damn Cid, his hard head," he said falling infront of it. A strange scent loomed over the tree trunk as he sat down, regainning his well developed senses. "So whats up," he said with a laugh as his head looked to the girl in the tree, "why the long face on a glorious night as this," he said of course in sarcasm and a thought of help.

Kana blinked a couple times, slowly leaning over to her side to peer beneath herself, both ears perked and alert. Though, after a moment, she recognized the scent as wolf and her ears flattened back, her eyes widening. She smelled blood too... She blinked again and then shook her head rapidly side to side. "N-nothing's wrong!" she protested as she quickly wiped at her eyes to rid them of all traces of tears. "I'm fine! Are.. you ok?" She stared down at him uncertainly, a bit reluctant to climb down, but also anxious to know what was wrong.
