Suddenly the edge of Oric's sword appeared next to Lonewolf's throat.
"I am not a coward! And you leave Muchie out of this!" Oric, said with no fear in his voice, but with a stern tone instead. At this point, it was easy to see, that his aura was no longer fluctuating , but was steady and fairly large.

Oric took this as a personal test.
"You wanna fight head on? Fine!"
Oric jumped up and kicked Lonewolf in the side on the head.
Oric's moment of victory was soon cut short as he felt the blood come out his nose.
This could be very bad. Oric though as his sense of smell vanished and his sinuses began to hurt.
"I'm not a coward! I'll fight you!" Oric said as Lonewolf regained composure from a kick to the head.

Oric fell down from Lonewolf's sweep kick, but spun on the ground and used his hands to spring off and land on his feet, slightly dizzy.
Oric was not going to go down that quickly. He picked up his sword again and held it in the third position.
"Pull out your knife."

Oric ran headfirst at Lonewolf, but at the last minute, he dropped down and slid under Lonewolf like a baseball player, and used his sword to cut at lonewolf's feet.

Oric's vison was starting to give out. Oric swung his sword down and pushed against Lonewolf's dagger.

"He was Daddy! But what do you care!?!"
Oric then did something unexpected. He used one hand to push against Lonewolf's dagger with his kanata, and with the other hand, grabbed his own katana's sheath and swung it into Lonewolf's side, just below the rib cage. The contact made a loud THWACK sound.

Meanwhile, Muchie was getting more and more nervous about Oric's fight. It was obvious that he was outmatched. The man was merely playing with him, but Oric was too angry to notice this. Unlike Oric, or at the moment Lonewolf, Muchie could pefectly see the auras each produced. The Man's was tiny, but very very dense. Oric's was big, much bigger than he's ever seen it. What really worried the mouse was that Oric's wounds weren't bothering him. It was only a matter of time before his adrenaline wore off, and the pain would come through.

"Shot me?" Oric had no idea what that meant, having never seen a gun before. Oric calmed down and sheathed his sword. He was exhausted. Then he remembered ocarina.
"Oh, ocarina!"
Oric scurried to his bag and began to dig through it.
"Rope, shirt, book, book, cloth, book, AH, here it is."
Oric gently pulled out an object wrapped in silk. He un tied the knot and the silk flowed off revealing an ocarina, not any ocarina, but Ocarina's ocarina.
"My parents told me some guy gave this to me when I was a newborn after he healed me." Oric said gazing at the ocarina. He obvivously took good care of it. While his clothes, bag, and everything about him looked kinda ragged, his sword and ocarina were polished to a brillent shine.
Muchie ran away from Violet and dashed back to his human friend. He climbed up and checked Oric for any wounds, but only the wound was the one from Lonewolf dashing Oric's upper nose. Muchie was relieved; it was obvious, even though he was a rodent. Oric calmly folded the silk up.

Oric sat down a regaled Lonewolf witth the story of his birth.
"You see, I don't to remember, but my parents told me all about it. When I was born, it was right here in this forest. My parents had come here to escape from socio... socio...."
Muchie squeecked a few times.
"Right, escape from sociological and diplomatic persectucution, or somethign like that. Anyways, when I was born I was born not crying, I wasn't even breathing. My parents were worried I was dead. Then, a strangely dressed man with a bright red gi, walked by. We don't know waht he was doing so deep in the forest. He looked at me and placed his hand on my forehead. Then he mumbled some stuff and I glewed."
The Mouse squeeked again.
"Glowed, sorry. After I stopped glowing, I began to cry. My parents asked the man to stay, but he said he could not. So they asked for him to at least give them a name. He left saying, 'Ocarina'. We never saw him again, but as he left and beautiful music filled the forest. The next day, my father was out getting food and stuff and found a few books, a bag, and an ocarina wrapped in silk. He gave these things to me. I don't remember any of this, but the music... I know the music."
Oric gently picked up his ocarina and blew itno it. As he played his aura became small and relaxed. A peaceful music fillede the clearing, It was soothing, almost healing in a way. It was definately familiar to the old dragoon.
"And that's everything." The boy said as he wrapped the ocarina up in the silk and put it away carefully.
"You said you knew him? What was he like? How'd he heal me? And why?"
Oric was now on the other end on the perverbial table.

"Lonewolf! THE Lonewolf. No way! You're written alover this book."
Oric pulled out a huge book from his bag, and opened it up, it was written in Ocarina dude's hand-writing.
"See, you're mentioned in nearly every chapter. Is it true you taught Ocarina to make clones of himself. Did you really die once? What's a guild? And who is Relena? She's not mentioned too much in this book, but she sure is in the second one a whole lot." Oric's curiousity was a force to be reckoned with. Muchie swatted Oric's face with his tail, knowing that Oric was obviously getting on Lonewolf's nerves.
