Samuel got bored seeing as he was being ignored by the young lass he had choosen to speak to. He wondered when he would meet the captain of this ship and what the captain was like his recruiter had not really given any details. Samuel walked close to Tracey, Marius , and Luther he watched at of lack of a better thing to do. Unclipping a cup from his belt and took a few black dice out of a little green bag tied to his belt. He dropped them into the cup and shook the cup abit out of nervus habbit.
Samuel was addicted to a little dice game called deception. Though gambling didnt really matter to him the game did alot about this time he would be playing it in the Golden Cutlass with one person or another so the itch for the game was begining to bother him.

Aiden was somewhat shocked as to what Tia had questioned of him. He had expected the woman to already be anxious for promotion, or to be weary of the pain in her hand. Unlike both of these thoughts, however, Catterwall was eager for more work on the ship. Letting out a slight chuckle, the captain could not help but smile even more broadly. This woman was certainly on the right path to being promoted. It seemed with every work she uttered and every action she took, she seemed even more reliable. It pleased McCallahan to know that his judgement of a person was not so off still.

Finally answering her question, the man spoke, "There are three levels of this ship, including the top deck. The second deck is completely open to all of the crew as it is the cabins and bathing quarters. Each pirate should be instructed to choose their own cabin and put whatever belongings of theirs inside. The last level of the ship is the storage and only I, or other pirates I personally instruct, shall go below decks. Annabelle will remain in these quarters and I shall keep her as comfortable as possible. Once we have found a surgeon, I may have them remain below decks as well to further inspect the cause of Annabelle's disease."

The expression Tia wore upon the mentioning of a cabin was far too much for McCallahan. The tall dragon-kin grinned broadly towards the woman, incredibly pleased that she enjoyed the thought so much. If the woman was so greatful for a comfortable room to stay, he was certain she'd be thrilled once promoted to able seaman. A grateful pirate was often more likely to be loyal and work diligently. Nodding to her questions of rest, he scratched his head and thought of anything else he might say, "Find Penelope first though. I want your hand washed, treasted and bandaged up correctly before you head off to rest. And if you would not mind, please send Alexis to my cabin once you have reached the top again."

Tia nodded taking what Aiden had said to memory. The fact that Aiden was smiling helped Tia to calm down and become more comfortable around him. She wondered what disease someone could possibly have that Aiden had alloud on the ship. Something like that could infect the intire crew, but Tia figured Aiden new what he was doing so she didnt say anything in responce to it.
Tia stood up still holding on to the jar the captain had given to her.
"Yes Captain, Alexis is the dragonkin female right? May I tell the information on what decks are open to Tracey, before I go to Penelope?"
Tia wanted to see Tracey again, but also she wanted him not to have to worry about finding work for the other pirates. At the same time that she looked fowards to having rest it was going to be hard for her to do. She was still ready to work, though she was thirsty more than anything.

It was only until after Aiden McCallahan brought the mentioning of Annabelle's disease did he realise the severity of his words. Is gossip went through his crew, it would cause a panic and lead to a great deal of distrust of the dragon-kin. Wiping his brow, the man spoke calmly, but clearly for the woman to hear. "Annabelle is safely secured in a cabin on the lowest deck of the ship. The crew will be warned of her, but until things have settled, this issue should not be mentioned above decks."

Aiden nodded to Tia's question about Alexis and then nodded again to her second. "It will be perfectly fine for you to speak to Tracey, but hurry on now. I believe there are others I must speak with once I have finished with Alexis." The captain's words were a mixture of both excitement to be alone with the beautiful dragon-kin, as well as urgency for he saw the great group of people speaking of conversations with the captain before he went into his cabin.

"Yes sir." Tia said as she started to leave she stopped and turned around for one moment.
"Captain you dont have to worry about me repeating such things like Annabelle to the rest of the crew. I know it could cause a panic among the them. And though I doubt you care about this, but even though Ive not been on the ship long I trust you and your dessions." With that Tia bow then left the room to go to the upper deck and find Alexis, then Tracey, then Penelope. As she came above deck she covered her eyes from the blinding sun and quickly scanned the deck for Alexis. Spotting her Tia walked over and gave a smile.
"The captain is ready for you now.Thank you for letting me go before you, you really didnt have to." Tia gave a friendly nod of her head before turning to search for Tracey.
She spotted him and gave a smile before trying not to run towards him.
As she arrived she started to say something, but just then saw a familiar face out of the corner of her eye. Turning to make sure it was really him she hissed.
"You!!!" Tia shouted as she about threw the jar that the Captain had given to her at Samuel. She stopped herself and growled slightly, she wasnt about to loose everything she had gotten by killing one of the crew members.
"Well if it isnt Sammy the Skull......" Tia said while glaring at Samuel.

Samuel stopped shaking his cup of dice as Tia confronted him. He gave an odd laugh and moved abit to hide behind Tracey.
"Tiiiiiaaaa.......What a.......lovly surprise.......You.....you wouldnt still be mad at me would ya?" The unarmed yet strong looking man would have been a sight to see hidding from a short frail looking female. He looked very intent on using Tracey as a shield if he needed too. Samuel had made many enimes in the past but he had never run into them again untill today, maybe piracy was not the best choice for a change in the his adventures.

Tracey has seen Tia coming towards him and was very happy to see to see her. However, her reaction to the new recrute Victora brought up, changed him from being happy, to wanting to boot the man off the ship right then and there.

Turning around, he looked at the man, "Wrong person to choose to hide behind." Walking over to Tia he offered, "I could throw him over the side for you." As a boatswian in training, there were much worse things he could do to someone who upsetted Tia.

Victoria groaned, walking over to Samuel and giving him a sound smack upside the head. "Just what do ye think yer doin'!" she exclaimed, looking quite pissy. "This ain't a place ta' be playin' wit' dice when there's work ta' be done!"

Growling in a low voice, she rolled her eyes, crossing her arms underneath her chest and jutting her hip out as she stood, not looking at all pleased. "First ye decide ta' call me a harlot, and now ye be slackin' off, and already ye've made enemies! Is there anythin' else ye be needin' ta' tell me before ye cause anymore trouble?"

Alexis nodded back to Tia, she then headed to Aiden's quarters. She walked into his rather cluttered quarters, and a small chuckle escaped her lips. "Captain," she said to Aiden, "You told me earlier that after I picked my quarters, we were to talk about my job on the ship?" she partly asks Aiden before fluttering her wings a bit more. She wondered if Aiden happened to want to talk to her about something other than what she came to talk to him about.

Aiden had been busying himself, tidying his cabin when Alexis entered. Her soft voice instantly caught the attention of the captain and he spun on his feet to get a better look at her. Smiling genuinely, the man pointed to the crate near his desk and finally spoke, "Please, please take a seat and we shall discuss.." He listened to what she had wanted to talk about before he finished, "..your position aboard this ship!"

Watching Alexis as she spoke, the man could not help but notice she fluttered her wings again. The light vibrations her wings gave off caused the man to grin even more broadly. Silently, the man wondered if Alexis was attempting to woo him. By the awful tone she had given him earlier, the man was certain her fluttering was a simple habit and she had no idea the affects it had upon the man.

Sitting down in his large wooden chair, the man rubbed his chin in thought. He had wanted to offer Alexis a higher position in his attempts to keep her within his company, but it would simply not do. Jealousy would break out within the ship as well as disrespect towards the captani for his actions. He could not favor the woman, despite her beauty and unattempted charm. "Well. Like all other deckhands, you have the same opportunity to go higher in rank. If you would like, however, I may discuss the path you wish to take and what type of officer position you are interested in. I can't guarantee to save the job for you if someone comes along, but I would love to keep it set aside to the best of my ability if you are interested." The man kept smiling, hoping his words would not offend the woman.

Samuel chukled abit as he was slapped.
"Well for one no one was telling me what needed to be done so its not really fair that you smack me for something like that. I wasnt playing its a nervus habit I have and Ive already apologized for my previous statements to you so I also think its not fair to continue on that. As far as enimes go Tia and I go way back before this ship, but I never apologized, but if she'll let me do it now I will." Samuel clipped the cup back on his belt and put his dice back in the bag.

Tia looked at Tracey and couldnt help, but give a slight giggle at the offer Tracey had given. She watched as Sammy was slapped and tried not to burst into laughter. When he spoke though her attitude changed slightly. She thought about what happened and decided it was rather silly to ruin his chances on the ship over an old grudge.
"Everyone its ok, I over reacted about an old grudge. Ill take your apology Sammy, but let it be known Im watching you. One slip up and Ill personally have you walking the plank captains orders or not." Tia turned to Tracey.
"Dont worry about him. I wanna talk to you before I go rest for the rest of the day." Tia smiled that thought still tickled to the point she had forgotten the pain in her hand even though it was very obvious that it was still bleeding after all this time. Though she was starting to feel dizzy as well as thristy.

Tracey wanted to know what he missed about this guy. Victoria and he obviously didn't have the best of meetings,at first at least. How could you have a good meeting with someone that called you a harlot?

That train of thought made him wonder what Sammy could have done to make Tia mad. Logic brought him to one conclusions, the man must have dared to call Tia that. With effort, he was able to not to show reaction to the ascertained slight on her honor.

This could have happened, or he could be completely off. Either way, he was not involved in this besides his deep care for Tia, so jumping to conclusions and wanting to mop the floor with the man just wasn't smart.

Speaking to Sammy, he stated, "Ask for a task if one is not given to you, it will keep you out of trouble." It worked for most people, he himself normally just went for the knots and anything else he could use his skill on, normal his superior officers gave up giving him tasks because he did them and more on his own.

Not missing the obvious signs bleeding on Tia's hand he became very, very worried about her. Unsure if she would be okay with him trying to help to support her, with all that blood loss he was surprised she was still standing. Again, he didn't know all the facts and was forces to be more passive. "Tia, can I escort you below decks, we can speak to one another while we find you somewhere to rest." He didn't try very hard to keep the concern from his voice.

Sammy noticed Tia's bleeding hand and scratched his head abit wondering how it had happened, but with a shurg he decided to ignore it. "It seems Im off the a very bad start..." Samuel said before backing away from the group and looking around the ship. Every thing seemed to be done, but then wanting not to get in trouble once more he grabbed the first rag and water bucket he saw and begain to scrub anything that was just even a little bit dirty. His face was now of worry not so cheerful like it had been before. The sight of Tia was an almost unpleasent one to him bringing back a few memories he would rather have stayed hidden. The fact that Victoria hadnt forgiven him yet seemed to upset him as well even though he had not acted like it as she had talked to him. It wasnt like she mattered much to him,but he was the type that couldnt stand people staying mad at him. He didnt use to be that way he had only changed since comming to the islands a few years ago. Sammy was truly an odd yet sencitive man as he was pretty sure no one was looking he let one or two tears fall more in hatred of himself and the way he acted all the time more then anything. He had been trained that way it wasnt his fault not intirly and he was trying to change, but it was hard.

Alexis sat down, fluttering her wings once more singe they still weren't used to being spread out like they were. She then grumbled slightly at the word deckhand. She was far from being a Deckhand. Then she heard him talk about what officer position whe would strive for, she realized that this would be a time to charm the man for a good rank.

"Well, I'd really like to try and become your First mate," she purred, in her mind she was hoping he was easy to charm. She flutered her wings again, this time to woo him, not relieve some pain. She then speaks up again with a pout on her face, "but, I don't think you like me enough,"
