He smiled to her as he went over to gather a cloak for her. The fur was heavy but it would keep her warm, draping it carefully over her shoulders he asked, "Feeling and warmer?" He asked liked he cared.
In addition he told her, "You might understand why I was banned, or atleast my side of the story." Which story did he want to tell?

>>she shrugged into the fur slightly before sitting down and closing it completely, holding in the warmth to her body. It was an almost comical sight, her head seeming to just be on a mass of fur<< Mhmm...what did exactly happen to get you banned? >>Anon jumped slightly<< Y-You don't have to tell me of course if you don't want to.

Finding a version he liked, he told her, "It is a long story." Pouring a cup of tea for the both of them, he sipped at his a moment looking like he was recalling a terrible story.
"The old owner of the tower was a lovely, but slightly deranged sorceress whom was all alone besides one cold-blooded servant and the people outside of the tower. I will admit, I was very young and on an ego trip. I was not the most gentle of people back then, but she knew it. I never actually hit her, accept for once but that does not make it right. Working so hard on learning new magic to help protect the Tower, I got very frustrated and hot under the collar. She came behind me and scared the living daylights out of me, thinking she was an intruder, I struck at her but managed to stop her from hitting the ground."
He looked ashamed, looked very upset at what he had done. "I found her dairy once; she was like a teenager with disaster delusions. I did not mind, strived to treat her even better and let her have her stories. Well, I lost her to child birth and was too distraught to stay in the tower that night, before I knew it, all my powers were taken from me and I was ejected. I know it was that naga, found the book and took away all I had worked with her to build. There is not a day that goes by that I don't regret thinking I was the center of the universe and losing my world." He did not add tears, he was not that much of a dramatist, but he did look devastated at the memory and looked down at the table.
"I can still hear her laughing, her screams wake me sometimes and I feel the loss and helplessness all over again. I'd give all my powers just to go back and hit myself on the head and gain even a shred of sense I have now and nothign would have ever happened to her. Not that there was naything that could have been done about the difficult birth, but I could have been a better husband and lover to her, a companion she deserved." Sighing lightly, he did not look at her, to add the affect.

>>She lightly frowned through the story...not buying a wit of it. Sounded too much like he was an innocent, dispite his disgust at himself. Why wouldn't he give it too her straight up though?<< You did the best you could. >>Anon murmered soothingly, watching him carefully. The spell unknowingly laid on her had long since worn off, and she was as distrustful as ever. But...still always gave a person the benifit of the doubt<<

Lucifer shook his head and sighed, "No, I hurt her, there is no excuse for that. I try to forget it, to forgive myself for that temper and ego. The only comfot is after all those years, I was able to at least mellow and mature." He made a mental note to work on his story for the next time he needed to use.

Well...you didn't mean to hurt her did you? You never wanted to hurt her. >>The girl shrugged before eyeing her tea warily. She didn't like tea<< So you did do your best...because you didn't know

"There were times, but then I have learned in any long term relationship where you see the person every moment of everyday." He drank more of the tea and told her, "It is refreshing to see someone who does not see me as a monster. No matter what everyone in there thinks, just knowing that someone doesn't look at me like a monster is comforting." He smiles at her before finishing up that cup up and fixing another. Not asking or looking at the tea besides making sure the cup was not empty else he'd fill it.

>>she shook her head slowly<< There are no monsters in this world, they all die when you're ten. There are only people who do wrong things, which as far as I know...isn't the definition of a monster. >>Anon lightly chuckled<<

Lucifer did not agree with her, he prided himself on being a monster. However, that would not help his case. "Ah but some still haunt your soul." Shaking his head he told her, "Enough about me, are you feeling better?" His attention was on her now, she was more interesting, really.

Only if you still have a soul to haunt >>she spoke creepily before shaking her head with a grin. The girl then nodded<< Yes, thank you....when it becomes warm again out...will you take me back to the waterfall? >>Anon asked hesitantly<<

"I believe everyone has a soul, its condition verries." As the self proclaimed and well backed up king of hell, he was an expert on that one.
He gave her a warm smile as he says, "I am glad and I would love to see it with you again when it is warm. By then we'll see more life with the same serenity." He kept a mental note not to bother the wild life. "Perhaps, a night walk might also be in order. There is just something about the night, when the moonlight bathes the waterfall that is just something that has to be seen at least once." Romantic, not really, but it was close.

I was attempting at being dark and creepy >>Anon lightly chuckled<< But I've never been a good Actress. And yes. I love walking at night. >>How did the other know that she adored the night?<< Well...in the winter I actually...dance more, or at least attempt to. Keep the body moving faster for more heat.

Lucifer chuckled back and chided himself on taking her too literally. "Then I would really love to show you the waterfall at night as well." It sounded like a perfect time to work on his powers on her more. Until then, he'd work on gaining her trust.
"It is already just starting to warm a bit, perhaps it will not be too long until we can walk in comfort." He nodded and told her, "I'll bet you’re very good at dancing, I normally just stay inside when it is cold. Although, I have gotten used to the cold from all my winters alone, so I am not bothered by it too much." His tail fluffed up a bit and then laid itself down, still fluffy. There was a time he wondered if he was a joke made by the universe, evil yet pleasantly soft and furry. It was really comical, but he used it to his advantage when he could.

>>she nodded<< I'd like that. As for dancing...Oh yes. I am very graceful there, the only thing that can compare with me on the dance floor, is a dolphin stranded on a beach. >>Anon spoke sarcasticly, grinning lightly<<

He smiled at her when she said she'd like it, then had to laugh at her wit and sarcasm. "I find it hard to believe that, Anon. Perhaps you may not have had good teachers, but I cannot believe that you lack all grace." That would be interesting, teaching her how to tango, and a few other very close dances. Would he be able to seduce her through that method?
