"Thank you," Takai mumbled one again into the boy's shirt. He pulled himself into a more comfortable position on Shinji's chest, though his face was still buried into Shinji's chest.

Shinji yawned and closed his eyes for a second, he felt sleepy all of a sudden, "Takai are you sleepy?" Shinji looked down at his friend.

Takai blinked. Sleepy? It just occured to him that he was. He nodded silently and hiccoughed. He snuggled into Shinji, drifting off lightly with his arms still wrapped around the boy's middle.

"well that was quick" Shinji laughed a bit, he picked up an alarm clock of of the table next to his bed and set it and put it back. He layed down comfortably without moving Takai and fell alseep still holding his friend.

Takai hicoughed again before falling completly asleep next to Shinji. His grip never loosened as his mind strayed from the consious world.

Shinji only slept for about five minutes before he woke up, his eyes hlaf open he sat up slightly and rubbed his eye. He looked down at Takai sleeping soundly and sighed, he layed back down but couldn't fall back to sleep.

A few hours later, Takai shifted and opened his eyes. He yawned and was faintly aware of still clinging to Shinji. He didn't want to leave the room just yet. He was still confortable and didn't want to loose that confort to eat or something.

Shinji noticed that Takai was awake and bookmarked his place in his book, "good afternoon sleepy head" he smiled. Shinji reached and put his book on his little side table, "I couldnt stay alseep so I just read the whole time," Shinji smiled again.

"I'm sorry..." Takai mumbled and stretched without letting go of the boy. His eyes were half closed from just waking up. He shook his head from the wierd feeling in his head. It would take him a little bit to wake up, and he knew it.

"no, it's fine, I was comfy and I like reading" Shinji smiled," still a little sleepy huh? to wake up quicker I usually splash water on my face, but I dont think you'd like it" he laughed a little bit.

"I've seen a little too much water in the last few days..." Takai said refering to the rain. "I'll wake up in a minute... And it's warm and comfy right here...." he mumbled in his half sleep light state. He shifted lightly to bury his head into Shinji's stomach.

Shinji laughed a little bit, "am I that cuddly? I must be..." he smiled and started to pet Takai again out of a weird habit.

Takai blushed lightly. "You are," he agreed with the blue colored anthromorphic cat. He relaxed to the soothing petting of his head and closed his eyes again.

Shinji blushed and looked away as Takai admitted what Shinji had joked about. He still layed there petting his friend feeling as if no one was ever going to bother them, like they were the only two alive.

If anyone would have walked in, it would look as if Takai were sleeping, but he wasn't. He was completly relaxed and he didnt want to ruin the moment.
