As Aiden looked at the plants, he hadn't heard the girl come up to him. When she spoke, he jumped then tripped over his own feet. "Gah! Cat...you little-" He stopped himself short when he looked up and saw that the girl standing that was not his little sister. "Oh...oops..." He blushed slightly, not having meant to yell at her like that.

As Rose saw him trip over, all of the tension and confusion burst out of her, as she erupted in a bunch of massive giggles. He looked so funny, tripping over himself. Rose stopped laughing quickly, and said in a shy kind of tone, "Hi, um, Im really sorry....Im Rose." heart

"No no, I'm sorry for yelling at you. I thought you were my sister." He grinned up at her then pushed himself to his feet, carefully dusting himself off. "Rose, hm? That's a lovely name. I'm Aiden. It's nice to meet you."

Rose smiled "Thank you. Thats a cool name too." Outgoing...outgoing.....she bubbled of curiousity. What was that stick he was holding? "Um, Aiden...what is that stick thing? excuse my curiousty...." she stared at it. It was gleaming in the sunlight...it was so pretty...

"Stick?" He blinked then looked down at his pants as saw his wand sticking out of his pocket. He sometimes forgot her always had it with him. "Oh, that's my wand. I use it for magic. Well, practicing magic since I'm still in school."

Aiden grinned again. "Yeap. My sister can do magic too. The two elves I live with at the moment can do some nature magic but it's not quiet the same as what I do." Though he wasn't allowed to do too much outside of school, he kneeled over a small flower than had fallen off the bush, pulled out his wand, and made it levitate slightly. "That's about my limit outside of school. It's against the rules for us to do magic except for a little practice, especially for those of us who went into the exchange program."

Rose gasped. "That is amazing" she whispered. She tried to catch the flower that he was levitating. She held it in her hand when she did. "Wow......" she was thoughrouly shocked. "What else can you do...I mean, when you get out of school?"

"All sorts of things but I'm not sure what field I want to go into so I don't have a focus. For fun, I like to play around with fire magic." He glanced down at his wand then shook his head. No, showed off more magic would only get him into trouble.

The shock of the matter wore off a little, and Rose wanted to know more. She wanted to know about him and magic. "Can...I hold it?" she asked. She looked at his face, then the wand, then his clothes. He was a wizard. And apparentley went to a school for them. This thought processed in her mind.

Aiden looked back up to her. "Yeah, that should be fine." He flipped the wand around so that she could take the handle. His parents had worked on his and his sister's wands to make sure that only they could use them...just in case the wands fell into the wrong hands.

Rose ran her fingers along the sleek, hard wood. It was magnificent. "Do you know what kind of tree it is from? It really is a beauty....I have always had a liking for nature....trees, animals, just being outdoors." she beamed at him. She liked him, he was a nice guy.

"I believe it's cherrywood with a pheonix feather in the center. It would explain my love for fire...and why so many of my things smell like cherry." He grinned again then laughed.

"That's cool. I'm a Leo, acutally. Another fire sign." He smiled again then looked around them, just to make sure that his sister wasn't around to spy on them.
