"Y'better!" He growled, feeling too tired and miserable to argue too much further. "Y'know... I don' see why y'e'er were so nice t'me."

Sid shrugged at exhaled a plume of smoke at the ceiling. "Why not?"

"B'cause I'm a trouble makin', self-centered son o' a b***h y'don' know nothin' aboo."

"So am I..." Sid smiled blearily. "Only I'm too old for trouble."

Thanks to the weed he didn't even notice what he'd just admitted to. He'd kick himself for it later, during whatever brief period of sobriety he allowed.

"Aye, well, a' least y'had a nice full an' interestin' life b'fer landin' in this fecked up loony bin," He gave a bitter laugh at that. He liked talking to Sid. He felt compelled to communicate his woes honestly with the man, although he wasn't sure why. Maybe because the man reminded him of how he could have ended up. Not so much the fishy part as the being an older man reliant on narcotics of some sort. But not William Woodrow! Not any longer! He was clean now! He allowed himself the cigarettes at the most. He figured he was loosing his lungs anyway, he might as well not worry.

"More time to ******** things up..." Sid sighed. He leaned against the toilet tank, then slid forward to try and keep from mashing his tail. It was impossible, even with the high, to forget it was there. "I figure now I can't go much lower."

"Y'e'er kill anyone?" He asked offhandedly.

"I got into an accident with a minivan... Real nuclear family inside, LCD screens in the headrests... Not a scratch on any of them. Those curtain airbags, y'know? But me, I got my leg dragged under a motorcycle for a hundred yards, tore everything to pieces..." He trailed off, stared into space, and then added. "Nah, I never killed anybody... Best friend committed suicide though. Spork in the throat. Hell of a way to die."

He'd rambled on long enough that he had a good amount of ash to tap into the sink. He raised the cigarette and took another drag as he thought about all that.

Billy listened quietly, nodding thoughtfully as Sid rambled on. In the gettingtoknowyou dance, he took another spin, "Seen a couple guys get shot b'fer... but it weren't th'same as doin' it yerself..." His tone was quiet and nuetral, whether he was amused or horrified, it was difficult to tell.

"What's it like?" Sid asked, unaware this was likely not the best question to ask. But he always wanted to know. "Killing a man?"

Billy had never been asked that question befor, and so took a long pause to think over the best way to describe it befor he spoke. "S'... abrupt. B'no'... it's... loud an' messy." He hesitated, "... I don' know."

"I see." Sid could think of nothing better to say... or anything to say after that. He took another drag off the cigarette, as always heedless of how weird that had to look.

Billy's eyes flickered over to Sid, his twitch returning as his constitution crumbled. Pot really didn't count. "H-hey... " He cleared his throat, uncurling a tentacle towards him, "Y'go' any more o' tha'?" He nodded stiffly towards the ash-filled sink.

Sid glanced at the sink, and the joint that was pretty damn close to being a roach.

"You can have the rest of this one if you want," he said.

And right when it was at his best... He had enough that he could be generous, though had to remember it was what he was paying Newt with, too.

"Light 'er up fer me? Aint so good a' startin'-" He shifted to reach for it eagerly, but the sink was just a bit too far out of his tentacle's reach.
