hypnocrown New Question of the Week! If you could live in a castle, which in the world would you choose and why? As of now, I'm not entirely sure of my answer. I'll come back for that sometime this week. In the meantime, please post yer answer, K? My husband and I got a chance to visit many castles in Scotland and I came away thinking of all the cleaning and jealousies and wars, etc and I decided a castle was not really all that wonderful after all.

Wow Ms Jo! Thank you for answering more than 2 questions at a time. So, Shanara series huh? How can we find their websites anyway? Should we just google them or what?
Hmm, I suppose a castle would be a bother to clean but maybe it wouldn't be if you lived in a cozy castle (meaning small), he-he. You know?

I went into the website to see when the new release would be coming out and since then I have been able to "preview" beginning chapters of his books. The Armageddon prequel is the newest one and it sounds as though he has put a lot of thought into a post apocalyptic world and how people could evolve. The web site listed inside the cover is www.terrybrooks.net. He also has random drawings for pre-preview readers to win a chance to read and give him input. I have never won, but who knows? (grin)

Ah, so there is a website... Thanx for posting! I'll check it out later if I can remember, he-he.
As for the castle thing, yeah... I suppose that's correct but, I rather have something that actually looks like a castle. mrgreen

Ha-ha, very funny Ms Jo! lol
So, the Shannara series are based on Tolkien's Lord of the Rings concept? Imagine that!

I have some catching up to do! Anyway here goes...
Which Medieval/Fantasy Video Game is your absolute favorite? You can name more than one if you wish. I haven't played many games but I loved Age of Empires II.
Do you have at least one favorite fantasy/medival character or more? Post as many as you like so we all know a bit more about each other. I've always been interested in Epona, Merlin, King Arthur and Odin. Do unicorns count as characters? Oh and can't forget Oberon and Puck.
If you could live in a castle, which in the world would you choose and why? Scotland is my absolute favorite. Hands down. But the castles in Austria, Portugal, Sweden and the Czech Republic are gorgeous too.
As for the cleaning...if you could afford to live in a castle like that, you could afford to have people clean it for you smile But yeah....that cleaning would take forever! By the time you finished the entire place it would be time to start all over again...

Nuclear holocaust huh? Gee, I should get to read those books then...
Nicely done Kai! If you can keep answering more qeustions then great, if not don't worry about it. As for yer question, I think unicorns per say are not characters, they're fantasy creatures but if one happens to have a name and a place in a story then it is a character, yes. Take one that I incorporated into a story of mine, it not only is one of the last of his kind, he also is the only one able to use magic. Pretty good huh?

I wish I could remember the name of a book I read quite a while back, but I went through the whole book assuming the blonde, burnette, etc were human only to find out at the end that they were really unicorns! It was definately a surprise ending - especially when the "pets" that were getting smarter with each generation were the "humans."

Well that sounds like a pretty good book if I may say so. So the humans were the pets, huh? Go figure!
Anyways, I got a new question for this week:
If you were able to actually meet yer favorite fictional character. Who would it be and why?

Anyways, I got a new question for this week: If you were able to actually meet yer favorite fictional character. Who would it be and why? Would have to be Drizzt and Lestat the vampire, why? Because I love them both!
Well drizzt because he is just a drow and I love the stories he is in, he just gets me so involved with what he is doing and I feel so much for him.
Lestat because he is a vampire and I just love vampires, he has some sort of charm about him that draws you in so fast you want to keep on reading heh.
