Doll clapped her hands delightedly, eyes wide.

"Lovely!" she cried, beaming. "Oooh, scaredy people, scaredy aminals, Osso, light another one!"

She pressed the miniature explosives and the lighter into Osso's hands, laughing.

"And...let's hope Osso-Mother doesn't realize what we are do-ing," she said in a sing-song voice, caring very little if they got caught or not.

He took them almost eagerly. Shoving the rest in his jeans pocket, he flicked life into the lighter again, fuse poised next to the flame. "Nahh, I doubt she'd actually expect me to be doing this."He let the firecracker ignite.

The fuse spazzed and he moved around to the side of the tent.

The small, red cracker was shoved under the canvas and a second later whizzed and sparked. He could hear cages rattle a little on the inside along with yells full of question.

"We are bad, bad people," Doll said delightedly. Listening to the squawks, roars, hisses and curse words, she smiled.

"And I think you and I will get along just fine," she added conspiratorially, nudging Osso with an elbow and giggling behind her hand.

Osso chuckled, "I agree one-hundred percent. Except...I should probably go and sneak in by my mom. Then she won't be able to suspect me." he handed the lighter and other firecrackers, save one, back to Doll.

"We defanatley have to hang-out again," he smiled before melding with the crowd of still utterly confused and frazzled bystanders.

Kay grinned at Green over Delphine's head. "I've had to resort to bribery a bit myself lately." She glanced down at Delphine apparently content with the lolly.

"Must say," she glanced quickly back at Delphine, "sweets do make a nicer bribe than f-i-s-h." The seer paused to make sure Delphine hadn't figured out what she was talking about, but the fish-kitty was still happily sucking away. "Not that fond of seafood myself, Delphi on the other hand loves it."

Delphine was also staring suspiciously at Rose from her mother's arms. As soon as she'd finished her sweetie she'd make her give her Woo back!

She paused for a moment to shift uncomfortably in her mother's arms. Hmm... her tummy was feeling a tad funny...

"Ah," Green chuckled and propped Rose higher up on her hip, "but F-I-S-H is better for her than sweets. Other than candy, I've no clue what I can bribe Rose with. She likes carrots and other vegetables, sure, but sugar is her greatest love."

Perhaps that was why she always had trouble keeping up with the little bunny child. She shrugged.

Rose was annoyed by the way Delphine was staring at her and, because she knew of no other way of retaliating appropriately, stuck her tongue out at the other toddler. Her sucker was almost gone.

Delphine was about to make a rude face back at the bunny-mishap but as she popped the lolly out of her mouth, she quickly shut it again as her face screwed up miserably.

GLU~UURGLE

Went her stomach loudly.

"True." Kay agreed, "All those fishy oils in it should be good for..." She paused at Delphine's stomach grumbling. "Uh-oh.."

"Feel siiiiiick." The fish kitty grumbled.

Kay looked to Green embarassed, "She may have eaten a little to much junk today, she just grew recently so I took her out for icecream to celebrate."

"And milkshakes and fairwy floss tooo." Delphine piped up in a tiny voice.

As Rex carried her through the crowd above everyone else, Tamary felt a bit more like the bird she partly was. Would she ever be so big?

Turning around in Rex's arms, Tamary studied the birds in the cage, her curiosity apparent by the half-raised feathery cone, wavering between rising and falling as she decided if she like them. "I like ze-" the last word came out as a mix between a word and shrill word "colorness." They were indeed, quiet brightly colored, a few a them shaded in warm red colors, the rest in blue and greens.

"So loud, tho. No one to talk to?" She turned the question to Rex, her right pinky finger making it's way into her mouth to chew on; she'd left her toys in the room.

A striped hand reached out just as the pinky made its way into Tam's mouth, prying the latter gently away from the razor filled crocodilian muzzle.

"They do have themselves, but I don't think they have much to talk about between them," Rex said, waving a finger at a pair of scarlet macaws, laughing as two birds bobbed and moved their heads to the movement of his finger.

Tired of playing follow-the-finger, one of the macaws squawked and stretched out its wings, flapping them twice before side-stepping down its perch to get a better looked at the two strange creatures, wings held wide open for balance.

(( Feel free to RP the bird's action, just thought I'd bring it into the roleplay for Tam smile ))

"...and I was the one that put the cherry on top," Green sighed and shook her head, guilty for giving Delphine the sucker. She should have been able to come up with something more creative (and healthy!) to give to the children.

"Do want to go and do something to take your mind off of the icky feeling?" she asked Delphi.

"Shakeshakes and fairwy floss?" Rose murmered in disbelief, peeved that Green hadn't taken her out for treats when she had grown. Instead, she'd ended up wih the nasty taste of vinegar in her mouth. Rose grimaced at the memory.

"It's not your fault" Kay said hastily, "I should have been a bit more careful about what I was letting her eat today." She blushed, slightly embarassed at yet again stuffing up in her care of Delphine. "I got a bit carried away, I don't know when she was 'born' as it were, and her growing seemed a perfect excuse to have a bit of birthday fun."

The fish-kitty was feeling a bit to poorly to be suspicious of Green's suggestion. Her tail twitched half-heartedly as she thought, what did she want to do?
"Tigerrs?" she finally said leaning over in Kay's arms to look at Green and catching a glimpse of Rose's grimace. "Tigers." She added more firmly, mistaking the other mishap's expression as distate at her suggestion.

The sight of the birds was very exciting to the little Mishap, who had decided she liked the birds. She gave them a sort of half-uncertain smile, raising her arms out in imitation of their wings. "Biiiird," she shrilled.

The birds, alternately extending their wings as they wabbled about on the branches, stared back at the bird. The green creature thing made a high pitch sound that was midly familar and yet completely unidentifiable.

From behind them, a figure was moving through the crowd, slowly at first, and then with an increase in pace as they found what they were looking for. "Tam!"

Pink called from a few yards away yet, his large size making him quite an obstacle to maneuver in the busy, bustling tent. Finally he made it to their size, looking at the two Mishaps and then at the birds as he took a breath. "Looking all over for you Tam, how'd you manage to get away?"

With the last few words, Pink's overprotective gaze rose to look at the tall Mishap next to him. He did look familiar and yet, Pink could not remember ever meeting such an old boy, at least by his height, among the Mishap crew he had bumped into. He saw immediately why Tamary had been drawn to him, keen as she was for anything that resembled her strange mix of species.

Tamary's liking for Rex, however, did not spare him from the momentary glance from Pink, who, at around 6 foot, would not have proven an undaunting father figure. Of course, Rex was only a kid and soon Pink stooped down on his haunches to have a look at Tam.

"Like the birds? They have pretty feathers like your own, eh?" Scooping her up off the ground, Pink settled her off on his hip, looking at Rex again. "Thanks for keeping an eye in here She'd no doubt crawl between the bar of the cages to get a closer look if she could."

Zuleika looked between Pink and Rex, but her gaze soon returned to the birds, shrilling to them to see if she could get them to reply.
