Ryou felt the blade gore him...felt the slow release of his life as the Ninja's weapon cut through him. He...was done. He was done. This was it. All that he'd done in his life...had all led up to this point... and now...it was over. His eyes were so hazy. He was... fading away, even as he fell back. He wondered if she would miss him...? Probably about as much as she missed the other crew who'd died in the storm...but...she'd get over it. He wouldn't cause her an overdo amount of pain... Kai...he would take care of her. She would be perfectly alright, and her world would go on spinning without him... it was no great loss to either her or the world.

He wondered what his parents would think if they ever found out he'd died a pirate...? They'd probably be amazed he'd managed to die in such an interesting fashion. Henchman to a pirate captain was being somebody after all...which was far more than they expected from him. His brother...his brother would be upset. He'd always told Ryou to wait for him...that he was going to take the stars from the heavens and someday he'd come back and take Ryou to a place where they could be somebody... but...now that wasn't possible...he supposed his brother...would have to be somebody all on his own. Ryou suspected that he could do it...he'd always been so much more talented than Ryou after all... Yes... his big brother Ryousei...would be fine. And so would...so..would...she. His captain...everyone he cared about...they'd be fine without him in this world...there....was no reason...for him to stay...

Flonne looked at the boy who had approached her, declaring himself her opponent. She looked rather happy at the prospect, cheerfully accepting. "Wow! Really? Okay!"



"No you idiot you're supposed to be helping Kai!! Get THIS guy!!" Yoko bellowed gesturing heatedly with her katana towards Shinzu.

Flonne looked as though she was about to pout, her face puffing up. "But the cute boy challenged me to a fight cap'n, it'd be really mean for me to just say no!"

Yoko looked at Tenshi as though she just wanted him to explode purely from the force of her exasperated annoyance. "Argh! Why did there have to be three of you!? Henchman number 5! You take that one!!" There was a moment of silence before their eyes zeroed in on Ryou's fallen and bleeding corpse. "Oh..." Yoko blinked looking slightly surprised. "Uh...is he dead?"

Flonne smiled brightly. "I'll check captain!" she called towards the corpse. "Hey! Henchman number 5! The captain's decided to pledge undying love to you!" there was a rather...dead silence. "Hm, yep, he's dead alright...when did that happen?" Flonne adapted an innocently puzzled look on her face.

Typical...even his death had gone unnoticed.

Yoko blinked slightly at a loss of how to react. "What seriously? He's...wow..." she seemed a little sobered. "What was his name anyway?"

"Um...Kyou?" Flonne suggested with a slight shrug.

"Ryou..." they looked to Kai, who was facing Shinzu, still trapped by Yukimaru's jutsu. "His name...was Ryou." he looked at Yoko slightly more serious. "Yoko."

Yoko seemed flustered at this addressment taking a moment to pause before gripping her sword tightly and looking back to Shinzu. "Okay...fine...I get it. I'll..." she adapted a somewhat solemn face. "I'll honor him later." she turned back to a fierce look of battle. "But for now!! and she charged the stationary Shinzu, dashing by him so as not to get to close and preforming four running slashes as she passed him by.

Flonne seemed cheerful once more. "Well, I guess that means I get to fight you after all cute boy, what did you say your name was...oh, I guess since we're opponents there's not much point in me knowing that or something...isn't that a ninja thing? Or...was that an assassin thing. I always get them confused... if it's a ninja thing I understand. You have to be all super mysterious and stuff." her hands caught fire as she prepared her jutsu. "Well alright!! Now I'm going to unleas my full power you! This will be a battle for the ages! an epic struggle that no one has ever seen the like of before!! They will tell of this battle in the annals of justice for eons!!" she sounded so...light hearted and happy these words seemed more comical. "Taaaaaaaaaake this! My ultimate attack! Super sexy flames of justice!!" That was most certainly NOT the proper name for that jutsu... "Hiya!!!" she launched a pair of twin fire balls from her hands, both of them heading straight for Tenshi.... "Haha! There's no way you'll be able to avoid...Bleh." the girl promptly fell over backwards, her eyes spirals, as she lost consciousness from using too much chakra.



Yukimaru felt the jutsu enter her mind her eyes narrowing on her opponent. "You're ignoring me, zam? Are you afraid to speak, zam...? Xen-Senpai says people who don't talk during battle are afraid, zam. Or they are crazy man made experiments who can only shout really loud and speak like a five year old...zam. Xen-senpai led an interesting life, zam. But either way... you will answer me with battle if you won't speak with your words, zam!!" She attempted to swipe at him to pull him into a grapple, but he was too fast...this boy... a genjutsu user with such intense speed...it was like...like she was fighting Xen-senpai. If Xen-sepai was a boring person who didn't talk during battle... her face puffed up in slight annoyance.

Kai merely stood by no longer participating in the battle. He was watching their opponents carefully, as though looking for something.

Batsu remained silent despite the barrage of borderline insults from the girl. He hated talking to people during battles... especially to someone who wasn't on his side. So he refused to answer any of her questions. He just continued to keep her in the jutsu. Hopefully soon she'd break down and he could finish someone else off. After all, there were more 'pirates' to finish.

"He said she never noticed him, but he died protecting what was important to him... I am glad I was the one to do it, rather than someone else. I shall carry the burden of his death," The blonde he tied up had woken up and was seeming to sound actually happy to become a slave... "Ummm... we don't take slaves..... but like your captain said... I didn't knock you out. Practice your control on chakra, that should prevent you from passing out... Just sit tight and you'll be out in no time," he said giving the blonde a wink. It was totally abnormal for him to 'flirt' with a girl. Perhaps her demeanor was causing him to do it. Tenshi stood in front of Shinzu, though watching out for the syrup he was stuck in. He formed handseals and exhaled a breath. The air gathered into a sphere in his palm, though it wasn't quite up to speed yet. "I will not let you lay another hand on him. You attack and this will meet you," he felt his face turn slightly pink, "I... uh... don't want to have anything happen to... that... pretty face of yours..." He wondered if he drank some of the water...

Fūton: Kaze Dama (Wind Release: Spiraling Wind Ball)
This technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent. Given the light weight of the ball and it's nature, the user can easily adjust it's trajectory in mid air to close in on the target. This technique seems to be very fast and powerful, as it is capable of smashing through thick rock.

Batsu rolled his eyes as the girl kept speaking. He immediately began thinking to himself. "Oh god, just shut up already! Shut up... shut up... SHUT UP!" What was even more baffling to him, besides the babbling of the pirate, was the fact that Shinzu was trying to play peacemaker. Did he forget that these goons came aboard THEIR ship uninvited? Hell, if he was captain then everyone would be knocked out by now. He just figured that this was how Shinzu was and that was the difference between the two guys.
