Kai heard her approach but still didn't turn. As she suddenly latched onto him from behind, his eyes widened in surprise and he bit his lip to keep a pained grunt from escaping. He slowly turned his head to glance over his shoulder, a smile already in place to cover his discomfort. "I don't think I'd be able to listen any longer," he grinned, though he knew he still most likely would have obeyed. He blinked at her question, then smiled for real. "Of course! Everything is fine," he nodded. His arms slowly reached behind himself, taking a guess where her legs would be. Then he slowly reached out, intending to reach gently under them and lift her up moreso to his back, almost like a piggy back ride.

[xD;; He hates showing he's weak! He has to put up the front that he's not really hurt. xP]
Kai grinned as she squeaked, shaking his head in amusement. "Of course I'm ok, little mouse," he teased as he glanced back at her again. Then he slowly headed over towards his shirt and boots, which he'd left in the sand, carrying Skylar right along with him. He paused standing over them, wondering for a moment how he was going to pick them up. Then he smirked, hearing her last comment. "Oh, I can't?" he grinned again as he suddenly leaned forward, bending at his waist. "Hang on," he warned with a laugh. His upper half was almost parallel to the ground now as he just balanced her on his back. Then he slowly pulled his hands away, quickly tying the laces of his boots together. He hung them over his arm along with his shirt and made a point to slowly run a hand through his hair again, causing it to stick up in very odd angles. Then he grabbed hold of Skylar again before straightening. "To the hospital?" he asked playfully.

"Huh? umm..." she blushed a bit and held onto shadow as tight as she could until they both got out from the hole. She backed up a bit as well and smiled. "Well, thanks for getting me out of there. It wasn't that bad at all actualy! You're alot stronger than I am, I can't jump as high... It was nice of you Shadow-kun to help me!" she said and giggled a bit. I'm so cheezey she laughed at herself in thought, not realy caring much about it.

Shadow laughed and looked at her. Shadow-kun......it's got a ring I'll admit that. Hey Roxxan, you think we could do something later? ~Maybe I could show her my wing's......yea and maybe my parent's will come back to life.~ He turned and faced the school. It's getting dark and you shouldn't be out like this. I'll walk you back to the school.

She grinned a bit and bobbled her head slightly up and down, messing up her hair alittle. "Yeah, I'd love to do something with ya later!" she said to him, her cheecks becoming quite pink. She looked up at the dark sky, "yeah, I agree, it is pretty late already..." she said still gazing up at the sky, losing herself a bit.

Shadow looked up at the sky and smiled. He sat down and layed back on the grass and looked at the stars. You know, I doubt we would get in trouble for being late. I mean I don't even have a room. He looked at Roxxan and smiled. What should we do tomorrow?

Roxxan sat down on the tall grass right next to him and crossed her legs. "I'm sure my brother wouldn't mind, I haven't even seen him in a few days so he wont even know i'm gone." she said, finaly remembering that she even had a brother. She looked down at Shadow and smiled, "I dont care what we do, whatever ya want I guess. I dont know what there is to do arround in here, so asking me wouldn't be such uh good idea." she admited.

Your brother wouldn't mind what? Are you inviting me for something??? He looked up at her and sat up. ~How should I know what to do?~ I think I know something we can do tomorrow, but promiss you won't get freaked because of it?

"What? no. I was talking to myself... Usualy when i'm late my brother gets realy mad at me, but since I haven't seen him in awhile he wont know that i've been out this late, so he wont yell at me." She said and laughed a bit. "Sorry if I freaked you out ..." she said and laughed a bit more quietly. "I promiss I wont get freaked out, but... what is it?" she asked with a pause.

Shadow laughed. It must be nice having family so near. Don't tell anyone but I'm the only one that's alive from my family. My parent's and sister was killed and I was left with a scar and thought dead. He looked down at his chest and saw some blood on his shirt. ~Must of happened when I fell...wonder why I hadn't noticed it yet.~
He remembered earlier when he was talking to her in the courtyard and smiled. When he was shaking off the water he felt that one of his feather's had gone missing and shrugged it off. He looked at her bag and saw a bit of a silvery feather sticking out of a book and smiled. I'm not saying just yet, but it looks like you already know what it is.
He stood up and offered his hand to her. Well we better be getting back to the school. It's been a long day and I have to try to find a place to stay since I don't have a dorm room.

Skylar nodded, doing as she was told. She was amused, though, at how well she seemed to be balanced while he gathered everything. Il est integent, she thought, mentally squeaking as he held her again. Ne avant rien....
"To the hospital!!" Skylar laughed, heairng him. She hoped that they had indeed stayed there and not left just yet. "What if they left, though?" she asked quietly, wondering what they'd be doing had Kaori left the hospital.

Kai smiled over his shoulder at her as he began moving forward, footing a little disrupted by the sand. But he didn't let this stop him as he continued without complaint. He tilted his head thoughtfully at her question though, thinking it over for a moment. Then he nodded as he came up with a conclusion. "Well, I think she'd probably expect for us to think she'd still be at the hospital, so hopefully she's waiting there. If not, I'll just have to find her scent and follow it to her." He nodded again to confirm this and then picked up his pace as they reached the grass.

Roxxan placed her hand in his and stood up, stumbling a bit when she got to her feet, and grabbed her bag to bring along with her. She looked up at shadow feeling so bad for him at the moment. "I kinda know how you feel, me and my brother lived alone ever since our father murdered our mother, at least that's what I remember... and I wont tell anyone your secerets, I promiss! I'm very loyal to my friends and people I care about... Realy, no lie!" she said, a few sparkles in her eyes, it was almost too obviouse that she wasn't lying. "I dont have a dorm either, I usualy sleep in the north courtyard, if I do sleep at all..." she said and noticed that his shirt had alittle bit of bood on it. "Are you alright Shadow?!" She asked her eyes a bit wide and her fingure pointing to the blood on his shirt. "You're not hurt are you? Well that's stupid to ask... but are you?"

You still have more family then I do.He looked down at his chest and shrugged at the thought. ~Just a little blood.~ Yea I'm fine. Just a scratch. He looked down at their hands, which was still together, and blushed. You ever sleep in a tree before?
