Rika was silent for a moment, as though reflecting on something as she finished her toast and then poured herself a glass of milk, then drank it in one gulp. Placing the dirty glass in the sink to be washed later she looked at those who had spoken from her, struggling with whether or not she should speak again.
Finally a cold smile grew across her face as she reached into a pocket and drew out a kunai with fresh blood on it and began rinsing it in the sink. Wiping it off she put it back in her pocket and turned around to face them again. "It's stupid of me, to not have the self control. Knowing that it will only cause scars and shame, and yet that is not enough reason for me to stop." She said, indicating that it was she herself that had inflicted the wounds.
"It's been a long night." She sighed, lowering her head her bangs hung over her face. "I'm going to sleep for a while. Watch the bar, will ya?" She said somewhat tiredly as she headed towards the staircase.

The floor swept, tidied; her mistress words heard. Vianne moved to wash the dishes in the sink, making a small whisper of noise while she did it. For a while, she was silent. Then, "Has everyone else eaten? We don't have a chef yet, but I can whip up a simple breakfast."

Rika sighed. Laying on her bed she watched the mid morning daylight stream through her window and sighed. Looking at the fresh bandaids she had applied to her arms she rested one arm drapped across her eyes and tried to rest some. Her mind was far off, searching for reasons, but she could not find any. Trying to put the turmoil in her mind aside she rolled over on her side. Hugging a pillow to her chest she was finally, if uneasily, able to go to sleep for a while.

After a restless nap Rika sat up, numbly watching the dust particles dance in the sunlight. "Why am I so pathetic?" She wondered outloud as she slid out of bed and changed into a black martial arts training outfit, tied with a red belt. Slipping on special padded gloves and shoes she went downstairs to the rec room and began slowly at first, then steadily increasing with intensity, beating up a punching bag.
