[sorry... i seem to be laggin in my responses ><;;]
Koichi had taken a step toward where they were going when he stopped, looking over at what had attracted Kana's attention. He had been about to say it was alright and that he didn't need any patch job, but was destracted by the scene before them. "Do.. you know these people, Kitty?" he asked softly; he wasn't in a defensive position as though he were worried since she'd said hi, but he wasn't all quite certain if she knew them. AFter all, she seemed slightly baffled.

Karin smiled back at Kana as she stood straight, hands back in her sweatshirt's pockets once more. Her head tilted slightly, curiously, as she wondered where it was Kana was headed with that boy as well. Her eyes flicked to Koichi for a moment, scanning along him. He was also the one who'd been injured, though she didn't see anyone around who couldn't done it. A hit and run, maybe? She frowned at the thought, but blinked a couple times in surprise at Kana's response. Visit her...? Oh, crap... she thought to herself, watching the ground now. Now she remembered... It'd been almost a year since Kana's mother had died, so that must be what she meant. She was going to visit the grave... Karin was about to offer to accompany her friend, until she realized she'd said they were going to go. Was that boy going back home with her? If that was the case, she probably should just leave them alone... A very slight smirk spread across her lips as she looked at Kana. "Tell her I said hi," she said and then looked at Koichi. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Karin Miyagi. And yes, we grew up together. I guess... she doesn't know Suka quite as well though."

Suka looked at Kana and then at Karin, listening to them all before trying to reply, accidentally ignoring this other male again. The way that Kana had acted when he pulled out the dagger beade him raise his brow, but slowly he slid it back into his pocket. "Didn't-" he might have ben wrong, maybe Karin had said nothing about Kana's mother...though everyone's parents seemed to die. Yuri's had died, the Tsukito's parents had died...his parents, Karin's parents...mybe he was wrong. Or maybe he'd accidentally read her mind at one point in time...he tried to put that off to the side...Yuri could help her to catually see her mother, if in fact she was dead, though he doubted Yuri would on his request. If Yuri met Kana ever then maybe he could, but not just off the bat for no reason other then Suka's asking him. he put all of that out of his mind as he came back to reality, this was Karin's freind...and he was a wolf. Also, he smelt the scent of another wolf having passed through...putting two and two together he decided that the other wolf had created the scent of blood which came from this boy. Suka appearing all of a sudden was not a good thing..."OKay" he replaced his words. "Um, This is temporary...and also I'm sorry for..um..startling you?" he did not know if he would be making any sense with her. She seemed startled but he id not know by what...

Kana nodded her head slowly, one ear tilted towards Koichi and the other towards Suka. "Yes, I... know them..." she replied slowly to Koichi's question, still keeping her eyes upon Suka. The hair on her tail was actually beginning to stand on end, but she quickly snatched it up and began smoothing it out with her hands again. Her attention flicked momentarily towards Karin as she spoke and Kana tried to take in what she was saying. "Y-yes, I will," she said softly, and then looked back at Suka once more. She blinked as he started to speak and then stopped himself, and continued watching him in confusion until he spoke up again. Then she blinked a couple times more and smiled somewhat weakly at him. "It's ok!" she cried, more loudly than needed, and released her tail from her grasp. "It was.. my fault," she added with a small nod.

((Oh yeah, I forgot that came from XXXholic sweatdrop )) Rivera clung onto him still, not wanting to let go for a moment. What he said made her feel like she could lose him. She knew that Kleptos himself has dozens of assassins just as powerful as Kestrel or Ravenhawk. It would be much more difficult taking down every single assassin along the way, especially since they're getting dismally hurt every time they were attacked by even one of them. "Kira, that's madness!" Her whisper was more sad than agitated or angry. Her worst fear was losing him to her own conflict. Because of her, Kira had been brought into this big mess that dealt with snipers and such all over the place. "They're too much for you to handle! You can't just go alone, I'll come even if you try to bind me!" She half buried her head in his jacket, wanting to cry again, but not wanting him to know that she wanted to. Rivera was on the brink of tears, but she held them back. "This is all my fault for having this... this stupid parttime job... You shouldn't be involved in it, period. I'm being selfish... I'm sorry... but I don't know what I'll do if I see you in the same condition after the fight with Kestrel... I don't have as much courage as you, Kira. I won't be able to bear it..." Rivera gripped his sleeve a little tighter. She felt devastated. Against attacks, she could repel them... but if Kira could bind her against her will with light, she wouldn't have a choice in the matter. She wouldn't be powerful enough to break through, and even if she were powerful enough, she wouldn't want to snap his concentration and hurt him by breaking it. No doubt he would've sealed it with the essence of their relationship. "Just please... don't do anything stupid." ------------ Kai returned in his normal clothes. He couldn't find a yukata. He looked at them from a distance. He felt an uncomfortable churning inside him. It was jealousy... pure and despicable jealousy. Ever since he was a child, everything he cherished had been taken away from him. His mother was taken by childbirth, his father by the ocean waves, his sister by the vermillion epidemic and his home by the rage of the Gods. But through all the hardships and all the suffering he had to endure, he clung onto what was most precious to him: Rivera. He had adopted her to be something much like a little sister, yet still like a best friend. She fought for his safety and he fought for her freedom. They were people assigned jobs that they didn't really want. Rivera was a princess, forced to study in sorcery, but really wanting to become an elite warrior. Kai was a palace guard trainee who loved to read, wanting to become a master sorcerer. They worked towards their own desires with help from the other. Kai never forgot that, and didn't let Rivera go... not even when she fell into a coma and ceased to wake up, as if she were dead... not even when a disease wiped out most of the Atlantean survivors... not even when she was sealed away into a tomb to be frozen in time. He went to the grave with her, to be stilled in the temporal continuum so he could protect her when she returned. He gave up everything he possessed for her... but now... she was leaving him as well. It had been a forbidden love, between an imperial princess, the commander in chief for that matter, and him: the lowly streeturchin who managed to make it into court as a palace guard. Neither of them even raised the subject, but their actions spoke for everything... When he woke up from the timespell at Clover, he was highly concerned about Rivera's well being and current location. He set out to find her himself when Clover refused to give him the information, or possibly, could not. He was devastated when he realized that she no longer remembered anything from the past. Rivera quickly regained snatches of her past with time and the spelled book: The Aquarian Eras. He had hope that they might be able to form a relationship in this world. Now Kai felt like he was slapped in the face. Rivera had been taken from him as well, by someone else that she loved. Perhaps it was because she saw him as no more than an older brother... maybe that's the reason... but still... he loved her, perhaps far more than Kira did. But he was afraid of how that would make her feel. Rivera would feel so torn... he couldn't bear to see her suffer anymore... He remained with his back against a distant tree, looking up into the leaves with Usagihana resting on the branches. He was just unlucky... just... unlucky...

Kira let Rivera bury her face into his jacket and put his right hand on the back of her head. His left hand went to her back where it rubbed and massaged gently as he tried to console her. "Rivera... I'm sorry... You've just managed to heal yourself... I won't let you hurt yourself again..." He said quietly. Then moving his right hand from the back of her head to her chin, he lifted her head gently so he could look her in the eye. "Listen... I still love you... And always will... That's why I don't want you coming with me... You'll only get hurt... And I don't want that..." He said quietly. He always thought he would live for himself, and die for nothing. He was wrong, he had finally found something worth living and dying for. He gazed at Rivera gently, before closing his eyes and planting his lips firmly to hers. Even if I die... I'll at least make sure she won't be hurt anymore...

Koichi listened to them all talking, trying to think of where he'd heard the girls name before. He smirked slightly, realizing after a couple of moments, and said softly "So you're Karin." He was happy to finally meet the person Kana alwasy seemed to talk about, but whoever the male was seemed to baffle him; he didn't recall ever seeing him on campus. "The names Koichi Demure. It's nice to meet the two of you," he said, changing his smirk to a warm grin before bowing his head slightly. He looked at the boy, though, realizing he never got his name; that was okay, though, since he could he was Suka. After all, who else could Karin have been refuring to but him?

Karin watched Kana for a moment, smiling as the girl started letting herself get worked up again. She doesn't change... she thought, with just a bit of relief. She looked closely after her, blinking as she thought she saw traces of recent tears. She frowned, but didn't ask about it. Kana seemed to be fine now... Then she shifted her attention towards Koichi as he spoke. Her ears twitched at his first comment and she blinked at him before smiling back. "Yes, you've heard of me?" she asked with a small laugh. As he bowed his head, she did as well, so she wouldn't seem rude and then raised it again a moment later. Her smirk had returned already. "So, you're going with Kana to visit her mom?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. Her hair was still covering her right eye.

Koichi nodded his head to the question. "Indeed, I'm going to go with Kitty to visit her mom. She came with me to see my family... although that wasn't the best experiance, I think," he admited, chuckling slightly. He didn't asnwer the first question, since he didn't think he had to; it was obvious he'd heard of her. "Aren't you going to come with us?" he questioned Karin, thinking that she knew Kana's mother as well. He was slightly confused, but he didn't ask to many questions to clear him up any farther.
[oy! Kaori-chan. I'm going to my grandma's tomorrow until thuresday xP she's teaching me how to measure... and she has vacation, so she wanted my sister, brother and myself to stay. I think i'm the only one, though. So.. xPP]

Karin stared at him for a moment. She'd gone... to visit his family? She glanced at Kana next and then back to Koichi. "Oh!" she cried suddenly, and then tackled the younger girl into a hug. "Happy birthday! I'm so sorry I missed it!" Still clinging to Kana, she shrugged slightly and looked back at Koichi again. "I'm not sure," she replied, still smirking faintly. "I wouldn't want to interrupt anything..." She laughed and then shook her head. "I might... I'm not sure yet."

Kana listened to the two silently, still watching Suka. She was smiling now though, so she wasn't really bothered by him anymore. She had just been on edge from what had just happened. But, if he hung out with Karin, then he couldn't be that bad. His eyes were a little scary though... At Koichi's comment about visiting his family, she blinked a few times and then shook her head. "N-no! I had fun, really!" she cried loudly and then bit her lip, her ears drooping again. But she quickly looked back at Karin as the girl nearly tackled her and the only reason she didn't fall over was because Karin was holding her up. She blinked a few times more, her ears flattened back slightly now and her eyes somewhat wide. But then she laughed, placing one of her hands on Karin's arm, as though about to pry it away, but she didn't. Her face flushed red at Karin's comment and she closed her eyes quickly, shaking her head. "No!' she cried. "You can come if you want! I'm sure she'd like to see you!"

[my internet's being mean]
Koichi didn't respond to Kana and just ran a hand through his hair when she said she didn't want to interupt anything. I think it'd be better if you did, he thought to himself before shaking his head, chuckling lightly. "And what could you interupt?" he inquiered, daring her to speak what she was thinking. He shrugged, though, hearing her next words. "It doesn't matter what your choice is to me..." he stated calmly, looking at the two friends. "Your blushing, Kitty," he teased.

Karin laughed, seeing Kana's reaction. "Sure, sure," she said, ruffling the girl's hair, ears perking as she heard Koichi's comment as well. From this close, she realized that Kana had his smell on her... This discovery didn't help her smirk fade at all, and it seemed plastered upon her face as she shook her head and released Kana, stepping back to give her some room. Then she looked back at Koichi and gave another small shrug. "I might just tag along," she said slowly, as if uncertain. She glanced over almost questioningly towards Suka. Would he mind if she left for a week or so?

Koichi grinned, looking at Karin. "You don't take long to make up your mind at all," he joked. The smirk that was on her face, though, seemed to make him wonder what was going through her mind. Elle est... foul? he couldn't help but think, humoring himself for at least a moment before he looked over at Suka, too. Was he going to come along, as well, or were they all going to just leave him there? C'est symĂ he thought, still grinning to himself.

"...no I'm not," Kana replied to Koichi's comment, even though she knew full well that she was indeed blushing. She dropped her gaze to the ground, standing still in place even after Karin had released her and moved away. She folded her arms lightly across her chest, not sure what to do with them, as she listened to them talk. She bit her lip softly as she heard Koichi ask about what interruptions Karin meant, but was relieved when Karin didn't reply to that. She didn't say anything more, just watching the ground quietly.
