Kibo looked at the flask, and spoke, his voice crackly and hoarse from disuse.
Kibo: Thank you.
Kibo opens the flask, and takes a small sip, secretly astounded by the strongness of such a small amount of liquid. He takes several more sips, larger each time, and then returns the flask to Storm, his mouth upturned into what could have been a smile, although it was so slight, that it was barely noticable.

When Gwendolyn had finished the song, Tia Dalma spoke softly.
Your voice is that of an angel's.
Gwendolyn jumped. She did not know that Tia Dalma was standing behind her listening to her sing.
Oh. Thank you. I just remembered it was a song that mother used to sing to us whenever we had trouble sleeping.
I see. Well, anyways come inside.

Kibo, for the first time sonce he took his crew, looked truly lost.
Kibo: I... I don't know... My mind is bursting. Too many things have happened. I'm afraid I'm losing my mind. It was horrible last time, and I'm afraid of going down that road again. Yes, I admit it. I'm afraid. It's just too much.
Kibo clutches his head with both hands, and begins to rub his temples, trying to dull the pain.

Now, I will show ye something else. You can see anyone in the world in your mind's eye. However, you can only see them. You cannot hear what they are saying. All you have to do is focus on that person. Now who do you want to see?
I want to see Kibo.
Gwendolyn closed her eyes and concentrated. After a few moments, she gasped.
Why, I think...he's in pain. He has such a sad look on his face and he's holding his head as something is wrong. I wish I knew what he was saying...
Very good. You'll need more practice though. I assume the image you are seeing is a little blurry?
Gwendolyn nodded.

Under the waters, Malachus watched the ship that belonged to Kibo Botch, the human that he was to assist. For hours he glided effortlessly below the ship, waiting for it to move. He truly detested waiting, but something had to protect these silly humans from that damn spontanious beast. If it wasn't the Kraken it was Carcharus, and neither of them were very pleasant to fight, even when it came to just keeping them away from the ships. It was his duty though, and he accepted it with pride, despite the drawbacks.

As Kibo rubbed his temples, he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head. However, after a few moments, the pain ceases, and the throbbing pain returns. He reaches through his consciousness, for a pleasent thought. He finds one, and grasps it, bringing it up, and letting it flood his consciousness. His body seemed to settle, and his eyes filled with calm, the miniscule smile growing into a warm grin.

Gwendolyn smiled to herself. All was going so well. Not once during training had she failed to do something. And there no coughing fits no nothing. And then, so suddenly she didn't know when it started, the pain hit her. It was all around her body. The pain was so excruciating, she couldn't breathe. She couldn't support her own weight and stand, or kneel, or crawl. Tia Dalma had said that, although she could help her strengthen her powers, there was nothing that could be done about the pain she would have to go through, both mentally and physically. At that time, she had wondered what Tia Dalma meant by "mentally" and she still wondered now. But once again, she wished she was never born.
