Mierielle, your parents are tyrants.
neutral
That should be illegal.
Seriously.
They can't push you like that.
That's just harsh.
Jeez.
You'll ALWAYS be second in something.
They can't expect you to be number 1 at everything.

Mierielle08 Oh my. If I get anything lower then an A, my parents ground me for a week. No computer or anything! They even take my i-pod! Is your family military? Most military families do that stuff. Not room for mistakes aparently. lol THough I think my attempt to kill myself convinced my parents not to push me. Now my mom just kind looks at it(my grades) but doesn't really comment. And no I'm not suicidal..anymore. stare I do get good grades though. biggrin I dont' really have to do anything and I get an A or B. I never really get Fs... @Cast People can be first at everything if they work hard enough. It's just that most are too lazy. That and those people are either boring, anti-social, or insane. There was a serial murder back when my mom was in high school and he was super smart. NASA smart. He got bored with what ever job he was at and started killing people. stare

@cannible;;
not true.
Maybe when it comes to grades, but doing that will only overwork you. Seriously. It's not healthy, you have to realize that you can't be good at EVERYTHING because then you leave no room for mistakes and the time you actually DO a mistake, it'll rest with you for life because it goes against your nature.

I get F's in Math too.
This year, if I hafta go to Summer School, I won't. Because my school won't do anything.
Funny thing is, I was rather smart in Math until this year... odd.

Some grades and teachers are more difficult. Like 6th grade was easy, but 7th grade is hard.

Funny thing is, I was rather smart in Math until this year... odd. I had straight As in Math last year, now I got a 46 on my last test D= The teacher got mad because 3 people passed, and everyone that failed (about 95% of us) went home and said everyone failed. I would've done better if I'd been given time to finish! I got there late! I was 30 minutes llate and got 15 minutes after class. I had 15 minutes less then everyone else. Most of the ones I missed I didn't even finish! DDDDX

7th grade?!
It's so easy... <<;;;
Been there, done that.
I've always passed Math, just not this year.
NOT MY FAULT.
The entire class agrees that our teachers suck.

Mierielle08 Some grades and teachers are more difficult. Like 6th grade was easy, but 7th grade is hard. Wait until you're a Sophmore in high school. stare You either become a zombie or you live. Most of us become Zombies though. xp @ Cast My whole Sophmore/Junior class agrees that most of our teachers suck. We still get good grades. We either kill ourselves trying to get work in or we're doing extra credit. That or we give up and dont' give a rats a** what happens anymore. You either float or you sink. (#3 rule on how to survive)
Dont' give fault to the teachers. They went through four (and maybe even more) YEARS of COLLEGE to teach YOU. And you're ..What? a freshman? Dont' presume to know things that you are obviously too young and niave to know. Castitas Lilium @cannible;;

It's not healthy, you have to realize that you can't be good at EVERYTHING because then you leave no room for mistakes and the time you actually DO a mistake, it'll rest with you for life because it goes against your nature. I never said that it was healthy. I just said that it was possible to do that sort of thing (be best at everything). There are people like this who have to be perfect. Thus when they make a mistake, they have a mental break down.

Our teacher doesn't understand when we're not following him, he goes like:
Teacher: blah blah blah, does everyone understand? Me: actuall- Teacher: right, so then we continue with blah blah blah. Me: gonk !!!!
@cannible;;
Jeez, relax a bit okay? Sure, I am only a freshman, but that doesn't mean I am completely braindead.
However, this one teacher... we're all just wondering how he even passed. Seriously, he is REALLY bad. He never takes time to listen to us and when me and three other people asked for some extra hours just so we won't FAIL the year, he just goes: "I don't have time" and when we ask if he knows if another teacher could tutour us or something he just mumbles and walks off.
Sure, I'm just a stupid kid, but I still believe that my teacher should give a bit more when teaching us. He doesn't seem to try anymore.
