Arsenic shook his head. "You talk less than I do, that's reason for concern," he said, glancing at Sienna and her friends. "I hardly ever see you around.." he looked back at her, head still tilted. "Is there something that's bothering you? Something you need to get off you're chest?"

Nomis pushed some hair from her face - it was still slightly damp from her swim last night. "I do not have many friends in this pride - only my parents, because my sister has Aquos and Mikhail. But I have found a place where I am welcomed by all animals, which is where I am much of the time." She nodded, as though stating a fact. she was glad for his company - didn't mind not sleeping to talk to him.

Arsenic nodded a little at her words. "Have you tried to befriend Aquos and Mikhail yourself? And there's always a chance at other friends when the new cubs arrive," this place she spoke of interested him though, he had not come across such a place on the lands as long as he'd lived here. "How far away is this area?"

She pawed at the ground now, "...No... I haven't..." The thought had occured to her... but she hadn't tried it. She doubted it would work. "It's maybe half a day away, jogging... Right on the pride borders... I'm not sure there's a place further from the den distance-wise." It was indeed well-hidden. She often wondered if it was in the pride or not, but she knew it was right near the borders. A good deal away, too. It had taken her most of the night to walk back.

Arsenic nodded once more. "That's why you were always home late.." she said in thought. "Has anyone else been there with you besides the other animals?" it was a pretty good plan.. staying hidden from the pride by going tot he far borders... Of course it was only a good plan if you sought to be hidden.

She shook her head, slightly vigorously, "No, I don't think anyone else knows about it. But I've never taken anyone there." she shrugged, "I wanted it to be my special place..." She wiped the annoying piece of hair from her face again - it was dry now, and falling haphazardly, since she had not tended to it. "Was that... bad of me?"

Arsenic shook his head. "Of course not. You needed somewhere to be alone, all of us do sometimes," he pushed her hair back, using his claws to lightly comb it out as he did soso it would be under a little more control. "I use to hide myself anywhere I could fit when I was your age. And being as small as I was.. that was a lot of different places."

She giggled at him, and smiled slightly up at him, "I'm glad I didn't do anything wrong..." She poked his paw gently, and pulled back, sitting down once more.

"I don't think you've ever done anything wrong.." his expression changed to one of pondering. She didn't talk often.. she never got in trouble.. She was the kind of cub any parent would wish for on a stressful day.

She looked toward the ground, " I do not think my parents would appreciate knowing how late I'm out... or how far from the den I wander. They'd be angry..." He flattered her... and it made her uncomfotable - not something she was used to.

"I don't think so. Your parents are nice. I've known yourmom from themoment I was born. They might be concerned, but not angry," he didn't want her to feel scared of her parents, that just wasn't right..

She giggled at the thought of a baby Arsenic... "Well, they probably wouldn't let me go," she muttered. If she couldn't go, she'd go crazy. The water cub depended on that location to keep her sane... Without the animals and the pond, she felt anxious. The longer the period without... well...

((*Decides to go ahead and do the time skip for the birthing* Nomis and Arsenic can keep going if you two want I'm just anxious to get the cubbers into rp. xd ))
It was early afternoon on the prides lands and it seemed extremely quiet as most of the pride was out across the prides lands having fun and working but one particular lioness wasn't. Adia sat infront of the pride caves her belly was bulging as she almost looked ready to pop. Her expression told of how she was not happy with her current conditions and how uncomfortable she really was. Zeeza, her guardian or more like jailer now, had ordered her here for the rest of her pregnancy due to the one fainting spell she'd had away from the prides lands. She was fine now but she still couldn't leave. It was so bad that she actually caught her own children spying on her and had even been stopped by her own daughter during an attempt to go hunting.
If only they understood just how boring it was to lay around the cave all day and do nothing. With a sigh she stood with a huff of effort and then went into the cave. Inside she caught the scent of Santos it was rather strong so she figured he had to be in the cave somewhere but where. After a moment she let out a mew sounding almost like a little kit looking for it's mother. She let the mew echo and then called again and waited to see if she would get an answer from Santos.

Santos had been taking a nap withen the cave, but was just startingto awaken as ihis mate mewed. He tilted his head to the side andlet outa soft roar of curiousity while standing up and stretching. Once awake enough to keep his balance he headed towards the entrance to find Adia. When hesaw her his first thoughts were about how swollen she had gotten. The time was deffinately getting close. "Hey, Lovebug."

Adia whimpered at the sight of her mate and waddl... walked to him. She nuzzled him when she reached him and whimpered again. "Oh Santos. I feel so fat." She said and as she spoke a sharp pain racked her body. She cowed down to the floor and layed her head to the side on the ground. After a moment the pain stopped and she lifted her head to look at Santos. "They're coming." After her words she was quick to get up and move into the cave nudging Santos in with her. She was fierce on pushing him into the cave. She had been completely alone the last time and she wasn't going to let Santos leave at all this time. She pushed him all the way to their part of the cave where she had set up her bed of dry grass and twigs. There she layed down upon her side and watched Santos. She doubted he would leave but if he tried she would get him good.
