Since we seem to be talking movies...

I saw I, Robot today.

As long as you don't think it has a lot to do with I, Robot of Issac Asimov fame, it's not bad. Some of the ideas from Asimov's books are there, but take out any time someone thinks and replace that with Will Smith fighting an army of robots, and you get an idea as to how the movie played out.

Decent action, decent CG, most painful product placement ever. Will Smith should have just come in the theater at the beginning of the movie and been like "I WEAR CONVERSE, BITCHES! BUY MY SHOES AND YOU CAN FIGHT ROBOTS!" Seriously. It was... annoying. Some of the dialogue is over-the-top, but it's a summer action flick.

Agreed

It was just a fun, action-filled summer movie. It had some decent one liners...my favorite being:

Will Smith: *sneeze* Oh...I'm sorry...I'm allergic to bullshit...

Oh, and major props to the movie for NOT making Nanomachines the bad guys. It's so refreshing to see a sci-fi story with nanomachines that don't doom humanity.

I, Robot is a good book but Foundation is better 3nodding

Foundation was pretty cool. After a while the series wasn't quite so good, though. I think the fourth book, to me, was a low-point for the series.
