It was not the goofiest it was the newest! I wouldn't want to seem out of date...
Actually I was gonna do a signature version at some point, mostly so I could fit in the last few domos I didn't use, like your weird gas-mask one Isidar! And the spare Tom Baker and Eighth. And Tennant.
But not right now... please... so much stuff to distract me... must do homework... must do homework!!

Those were good, though some of the picture choices are a bit... unique. Like that one where Davison is comatose in the Zero Room coffin. Are you subtly hinting that the Fifth Doctor Era bored you to death, perhaps?
The guild mini-banner has been up for quite a while. Maybe it's time we updated it with something a little more recent?

Hairy Priest Those were good, though some of the picture choices are a bit... unique. Like that one where Davison is comatose in the Zero Room coffin. Are you subtly hinting that the Fifth Doctor Era bored you to death, perhaps? The guild mini-banner has been up for quite a while. Maybe it's time we updated it with something a little more recent? We could have another competition to decide it! Like we did before. Also, I didn't mean to insult five fans... it's just that in ALL the other pictures of Davison on the BBC website he is wearing exactly the same expression in every picture! Honest! So I went for the sleepy one cos it was unusual. And I think he looks cuddly not boring. Anyway, if someone gets me a picture of him where he is actually wearing an exciting expression I shall make him an exciting banner...

Have you checked the Doctor Who Image Archive? I know I posted that link for you ages ago....
It would be cool if we could have a Randosig type banner!
You can't put that in where the address of the banner goes & make it work, can you? Then we could use loads of the cool 40x200 banners we have here!

If we can't use Randosig (and we might be able to... I'm pretty sure MPL used that...) then I can always make a gif up out of all of them that fades from one to the next.

Hopefully it's actually possible. Unlike you folks, I have no idea how those things work.

There is a Gaia thread about Randosig HERE. Unfortunately the link to the site that it gives you works except that the site's 'new account' option is down for maintenance. I don't have an account, so we're kinda stuck. There are probably other sites but I don't know what they are... There IS a link to an alternate method on that thread too but I went to it and found it a bit confusing. I think it involves coding and stuff which I'm not sure you can have in the mini banner bit of a Guild. EDIT: I wasn't actually bothered about the 5 comments... xp

The Tektek randosig signup is down? It surely won't stay that way too long. It's way too popular.
I'm afraid a gif with a bunch of banner images fading one to the next would be a huge file that would take so long to load most folks wouldn't see it. It would be a cool gif, though. smile

Oh, I didn't realise TekTek had one too... no, it's not down. It was just the other one on that tutorial thing (bear with me... I not know of randosig stuff...). Yes, anyway, I signed up for the TekTek one. Should I make a test one to see if it will work on the banner?
