Kodomo stood listening carefully gazing at his new comrades, How strange it would have been if I would have ever been told that after waking up this morning and rushing off to join the battle I so wished to be in I would be joining the enemy... Kodomo smiled at the thought but then quickley sighed then he turned his attention back to Hinata as well as eyeing Kotai suspiciously.

*Laijin could be seen hovering in the air above the village. If you were to look closer,you would see that he was standing on a cloud. His arms were folded across his body as he looked down at the crumbling village* Ha! At this rate..leaf is sure to fall. Hm? What is that? *Within an instant almost,Laijin appeared infront of the small group of Hinata,Kodomo,Kage and Kotai. He looked at Kodomo..as he was no speaking to him* A cloud village genin? Hmm..bring me the girl..*He was reffering to Hinata* For the destruction of Leaf..all leaf village members must be either captured or die. I wont kill her if your concerned about her death..

ahhh...Raikage so you are the one behind this destruction...I should have known ::Kage stepped infront of Kotai, Hinata, and Kodomo:: I don't believe the young boy is willing to follow a murderer at the given moment Raikage...maybe you should look closer at his headband...::she smirked slightly looking even more vulpine, her canines enlarged slightly::

A wind swept across the village, leaves rusted in the trees, black hair whipped at an abnormally pale face, a pair of exotic ruby eyes continued to watch the gathering of different shinobi below. Shifting slightly, the wind died down, her black hair rested onto her shoulders again, as a slender hand slipped up draping a black linen cloth around her throat, covering her lips and chin, in particular the hidden mist village headband that was tied around her throat.
Emotionless, Ai continued to watch from the distance and seclusion of sitting up in the roofing of a nearby house. Hugging one leg to her chest, she spun the kunai playfully and skillfully between her fingers, snatching at it occassionally before spinning it again. Her blood red eyes remained resting on the back of a figure, his silver hair, his stained hands. "Kaguya.." She uttered the clan name under her breath, her voice strained with frustration and true hate.

Kodomo looked at the Raikage the person who had taken him in when his entire clan had died, he began to shake now that he was facing him he was beggining to regret his decision. And then he heard a low voice behind him which made him begin to regret meeting a certain girl in the Mist village.

Keeping quiet, Ai silenced herself pulling at the cloth as it was wrapped tightly around her lips and chin. Narrowing her blood red eyes she continued to watch snatching her kunai mid air and gripping it tightly. The shinobi there all seemed strong, of course they were on a totally different level, even her advanced bloodline wouldn't even help. Fear did not run through her veins, despite the evil aura that emitted from some particularly the figure who hovered in the air, the Raikage, she simply continued to watch with an emotionless face.

Ah..Kusakage..when has the destruction of leaf concerned you? The boy is part of Cloud Village, so he is naturally gonna obey me since I am his leader. Im not too intrested in fighting at the moment Kusakage,but if your so eager to fight me..then this will have to wait another time..Kodomo! *How he recognized the boy with his name was pretty surprising,he looked directly at him* Come! *Whether or he came would prove how loyal he is to him*

As Kodomo heard the Raikage, his entire life flashed before him as though he were dieing, he saw his memories of his village go by and then he saw all those people in those dreams fall, and die by his own doing as he slaughtered them. He had killed them to save a few of the poor Leaf, he had forsaken his friends for a few people, and now, he had too choose again what he would do. He looked at the girl that had offered to allow him to fight with them and save the now few leaf, and then on the other hand he saw the Raikage who had taken him in. He looked back and forth between them he almost wanted to just sit down and sob but his boiling blood wouldn't allow it. Then all he saw had suddenly become red as he saw it again, a poor Leaf girl grabbing him and begging him for mercy and then suddenly everything goes red. He looks down at her to see the tip of a kunai poking out of her neck and the Cloud nin that stands behind her smirking at his work. He sees the slaughter that he had witnessed and then finally he saw himself killing them all, making them pay for their sin. He looked at the Raikage and then spoke with a voice that could not contain his Kaguya rage which had boiled for so many years.
"I cannot fight for you...You and the Cloud have become no better then animals!"

::Hinata was shocked at the initial appearance of the Raikage again and the demand that he made of kodomo. Quickly she pushed kotai back,using the distraction to get him into the alley that lead to the next street and then, with a burst of chakra to propel her forward she launched towards the Raikage::
::no time was wasted as she began a series of spins again, combining strikes and sweeps, aiming for the tenketsu and mixing it up, trying to distract him, she wasn't going to take the time to talk to him or ask questions, not when she had such little time left to save her village, the bickering and answers could come later from the others, but now was the time to act::
::her face was a grimace of pain as her hand launched towards the raikage's throat::

::the Kusakage caught Hinata's wrist useing her momentum to throw her back directing her falling body at Kotai hoping the guy would take a cue and catch her. She completed the spin coming back around to face the Raikage:: The boy will not fight for you anymore Raikage, he does not hear your orders!

The Kikkai Bunshin that Hinata had pushed back stumbled a moment, then reached out to safely enclose her in the folds of the ever-shifting scarf that all of the Bug Clones and Kotai himself seemed to wear. "Raikage... you... you killed them, you killed them all! Now, now you will DIE, and there is nothing you can do about it!" The clones disappeared in puffs of smoke, rejoining the real Kotai standing on the roof level with the Cloud leader.
Kotai smirked, dropping the weights from his scarves, hood, shirt, shoes, belt, handwraps, gloves, biceps, and legs with the pull of a cord beneath his jacket. "Now, Omote Renge!" His body tensed, fatigue banished as the surge of new energy hit his body... his ever-faithful insects working to instantly repair any damage done to his body by the technique. "Haaah!" With a flash just too quick to see, he leaped at Laijin, the shingles where he once stood exploding off the roof. He struck the opposite wall of the alley and bound straight up from beneath the cloud upon which he stood. "Forest Dance!" His scarves and wraps shot out from their positions, attempting to ensnare Lai as he hovered, to open him for the follow-up technique.

::Kage firmed her stance her hands flashing as she made hand seals her fans still in her hands. The shadows seemed to dark and shift slightly. As soon as Kotai lept off the roof she completed the hand seals:: Kagemane Kitsune Buunshin no Jutsu!! ::her shadow snaked around to the Raikage's taking control of it. the people who looked around could see 7 tailed fox's emerge from the shadows there eyes a small glow on dark forms as they sped towords the Raikage::

Kodomo knew this fight was too much for him, but he felt as though he had to do something, but he didn't know what he could do, he was only the equivelent to a Genin.

Hahaha..you really think I would go around this village by myself? *Appearently,what they were attacking was some sort of illusion since it began to disapear* Kodomo..for your disobedience you are no longer part of Hidden Cloud. You shall be hunted down and killed since from this day on..you are a missing nin. Now..you have a chance to prevent all of this from happening if you bring me the girl. Bring her to the Raikage Tower..you have one week to decide. Kusakage..I look forward to our fight..I shall await all of you at the top of the Hokage Tower.
Lets play a game..You will be confronted by some of my most powerful nins. If you defeat all of them in time and obtain the "Hokage" crystal from my clone..I will withdraw my nins and leave the rest up to the Tsuchikage. You have two hours. *The appearent body of the Raikage faded away into the wind*

Kodomo heaved a great sigh, he knew that he would not be able to do what the Raikage requested even if he had actually wanted too but now he truly was alone. From now on he would fight only for this girl he had just met, he would listen to nobody else and would lay down his life if he must for that was his new way of the ninja.
((Heh...Naruto rip off...And I think you mean Hidden Cloud Laijin...))
