Heh, when I started this story out I wanted it to be the most satirical thing I could think of.... But, now it has taken a serious twist I might have to go back and change some things. Like you said transition it so that he is one of the few normal people, but then slowly succcumbs to the lust of killing.

Exactly, I'd just replace the description of Freddy's parents with something about a traditional, moral upbringing (white picket fence, three square meals a day, go to church service on Sunday, etc.). Then just reveal the parents' secrets somewhere around the climax (like how the meat he has had for dinner all these years turns out to be human flesh). The climax should also be where you reveal all the secrets of the townspeople and that Mr. Porter is not the most disturbing individual in the community--instead of the beginning. After all, it's obvious by the end of the chapter that things are just going to get darker and darker, and this would be the best way to go, if you ask me.

From the climax onward, it should come down to a decision of whether or not you want the main character to continue to fall deeper and deeper into the heart of horror and insanity or try to escape from it and return to the values he once lived by.

So what kind of music does everyone listen too? I would say I'm really into Soundgarden and Alice In chains... I just loved the grunge scene.

Ah. I love Alice in Chains. I'm into pretty much every genre of music, as long as it's entertaining. Lately I've gotten into a lot of punk bands from the 70s especially the Buzzcocks, TSOL, and the Sex Pistols. My favorite bands though are White Zombie, Rob Zombie, Mindless Self Indulgence, and the Nekromantix.

White Zombie's a great band too... I loved their stuff compared to rob's soloing. But yeah, Punk's pretty cool... I'd say it was dead now-a-days and is being diminshed by Green Day (Even Jon Lydon claimed them not to be punk.) and other similar bands. I don't know what this pyschobilly stuff is but it sounds kind of cool... Although, they didn't add the vocals, you can listen to my friend's band here. http://www.purevolume.com/thegravesuk

And yet Lydon was a puppet held up by some a*****e who wanted to cash in on a trend in the late 70's. Although I hate Green Day as much as anyone else, I find Lydon to be a very dubious source on determining what qualifies as "punk rock."

My musical taste, for the most part, ranges from classical to classic rock with a little bit of punk, metal, and pop in between. As of this moment, I'm listening to GWAR and a**l c**t most often (I need a good laugh) and working on material for my avante-garde anti-everything band, Erotic Vomiting.

I love psychobilly too. Nekromantix are a psychobilly band. If you want to listen to them, I recommend the song "Nice Day For a Resurrection". They're a really cool band.

Heh, GWAR. I remember the first time I had listened to them. I believe it was the song "Meat Sandwitch".

I have a band that's anti-anything stupid such has the way hard-core kids mosh where they stay in one place and thrash around doing their best not to make any contact with anyone else. Also, I'm against affirmitive action so we are making a song about that.

Hmm, I've listened to GWAR but not a**l c**t... But yes, My range is quite varied as well. I'm really into Grunge and 60's Classics, And I have to say, I love surf. It's just so radical, and I like that. I've really buried myself into Queens of the Stone Age recently.... they've got some really cool stuff. Anyways, Alice In Chains has always been my Favorite band ever since 1992, my dad bought a casette and I've been hooked ever since.

My friend and I agree that that "Meat Sandwich" is the third greatest music video of all time (which is weird because I'm against the marriage of music and video). Oderus beating Jesus in a game of basketball is kick a**.

The most interesting thing that my band has done so far is record a full minute of static and call it "a cover of 'Stairway to Heaven.'" Some Zeppelin fan has reportedly already tried to choke the guitarist/keyboardist to death because of that.

I'll be going to see Gwar here in another week, if everything goes right. It should be pretty cool, they always put on a good stage show.

I really dig the old Rock I grew up on, Alice Cooper...pure greatness. I'm listneing to "I just wanna be God" right now....and I'm a major minority on Kiss' Revenge album, but I kind of dig it...despite a loathing for Kiss itself.

Some other great music....Social Distortion is one of my favorite bands of all time. The Ramones...The Vandals...Misfits (Glenn ******** the new s**t.)

I'm really getting into this band, A3...they are not quite Rockabilly..but there definately "somethingbilly"...they do the theme song for the Sopranos, but that's one of my least favorite of their songs. Kind of hard to find their stuff though. I'm not having a lot of luck.

I pretty much will give anything a listen once.

Got any sites for your music? I really love to listen to bands just starting out. It's just cool to catch them before they get famous. Moving to England has shot my chance down the drain with my old band... but over here they actually play music on MTV... Oh well, my brother Wayne says the old band is now starting to record. So look out for Mellon Jelly in the future. I'm hoping to gather my band down here and make it... but I'll most likely be heading back to america for Full Sail.

They have a MySpace Music thing now. Bands/Musicians can sign up and create their own profiles, and in it, they can upload up to four of their own songs (MP3 files only), as well as give listeners a chance to download the song, read the lyrics, comment on the song, and add it to their personal MySpace profile.
