Perhaps for the guild heirachy, you could do, the characters eg. Arya, Izlanzadi, Murtagh, Brom.... the members could be elf, elf, dwarf, human...Dragon Rider?
Eg.
Captian: Eragon
Crew: Muragh, Arya....etc
members: Dragon Riders!
Hows that?

Well....I'm not too sure either.
Maybe instead of characters, you could do...Elf queen, Elf...Dwarf king....Dwarf...Dragon...Dragon rider, Forsworn?
Yeah, maybe like that.Captain: Higher(est) status. eg. Elf queen, Dwarf king...
Crew: Slightly lower status, eg. Dwarf, Elf, Dragon Rider - WAIT I KNOW! The crew can be the Forsworn!
Members: Dragon Riders? sweatdrop

You can't change them no. Not that I've heard, in any case.. And the crew being the Forsworn.. Not quite sure that would sit well with them..wouldn't really fit, in any case..with an Elven Queen or whatever.. Unless you want a whole subforum where..everyone has their rank and..oh, I don't know where I'm going with this..

Maybe your could publish a sticky or something with a list of all themembers...then add on their ranks and titles?

I don't really see a point in it..sorry..but how would decide what all the members would be? and what about differing members having differing ranks? How'd that be decided? because otherwise, the majority of people would just be..the same..and it wouldn't be interesting..

I don't know.. there seem to be alot of repeat threads flying around now.. And I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad. Bad because we have threads and threads on the saem topic, good because each thread ends up on a whole different conversation. Bad because people end up typing the same thing/not wanting to type it again etc. But I suppose if they've posted in one thread, the presence of another wont change the fact that they - no. I'm going to stop there before I utterly confuse people..
And nobody (or, next to nobody anyway) is using the subforums.

i'd say, a petition for having items like a real dragon(not a gwee) and the sign on the hand, like eradon, and even maybe the sword of morzan and oromis...that would be cool, but we need a artist that can do that tipe of things
