The Isolates


the reason behind it:

our lead singer came up with the idea when we were talking about how we got to where we are today. He has learned five instruments in the span of 2 years, and is quite talented on them all, and learned it all by himself, no tabs and no theory, just the instruments and the songs... no lessons. Our bassist learned because his step dad played and so he was taught the basics and just kinda progressed. Me, I took some guitar lessons, but have picked up the rest of the guitar by myself, and have learned near 15 other instruments without lessons.

Furthermore, we learn without direction, most of us do s**t all in class, and yet get high grades, because we just skim he textbooks, or research assignments when we need to....so it kinda worked....

Call this blasphemous (or just plain stupid).
I'm planning on getting a band together with some guys. We are thinking of doing a black metal inspired music, so in keeping true with the style they decided the band should be named Hermaphrochrist.
Kinda dumb, I think. But it's catchy.

I've got a new one for ya. Well, it's an old one with a new name to prevent people thinking of a small electronic game for girls... Anyways, we're now called It Just Works, why? Because it just works! mrgreen

We named it that because of when the other guitarist and I sat out for hours one day watching pinecones get run over by passing cars as we shouted and egged them on everytime someone ran one over.
