Heather saw the tears in Lors eyes and handed her Vanna, it seemed logical. "Sorry we interupted, I cant fight Kala and look aftr two children when she is in the mood she is in." She smiled talking quietly. She felt slightly bad as she didn't know what was going on or anything and Lor was crying, or trying not to. She just hoped Vanna could cher her mother up.

Oqaia Trabor was surprised by the quick outpouring of reactions, but true to form, he just shrugged and smiled his wide, pointy grin as he responded. "Well," he said first, looking down upon Anezka, "I don't quite know who Twinket is, but I'm glad you're looking for the TriRune. And one piece is quite a feat for someone your age. Some people seek their whole lives to come up with just the one." Then, to Leshya'e, "Yes, Orrel. Very nice man- not a Fortunette but still, mustn't be prejudice, hm?" He laughed, and winked again to let them know he was teasing, "He's usually with The Saster. It's a smaller wagontrain- not many children. They move at a much quicker pace than we. Last I heard, they were to the South." "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much!" Anezka nearly pounced Trabor as he told Leshya'e the information the they would need. Hugging her arms around him, she nuzzled her head against him, "I'll be sure to come back and thank you when I get my wings, I will...I really will...Thank you, Brother!"
Leshya'e nodded and was going to thank Trabor, but was taken aback by the label Anezka put upon him. She looked down to her and then up to him, furrowing her brow a bit.

Remove Heather saw the tears in Lors eyes and handed her Vanna, it seemed logical. "Sorry we interupted, I cant fight Kala and look aftr two children when she is in the mood she is in." She smiled talking quietly. She felt slightly bad as she didn't know what was going on or anything and Lor was crying, or trying not to. She just hoped Vanna could cher her mother up. Lorelei blinked her eyes, casting the tears away, and took up Vanna. Vanna beamed and hugged her mother, then waved to Leax. Once the greetings were done, she yawned - she was tired, and hadn't had her nap, amidst all of the excitement!
"I should probably take Vanna home," Lorelei said, smiling at everybody in turn. "Thank you, again, you two."

Leax stepped up to the open door, but only barely allowed himself to peer out. Now was a moment, separated only by those few steps from Lorelei, that his own lucidness returned, and he somewhat realized that they had been under a bit of an enchantment. He thought it was of love- and perhaps, in some way it was- but the thought of the control was enough to keep him planted to that step- and not run to embrace her or tell her that he would be hers- for he knew that if he did, there would be no way to let her stay with her home, or he with his.
"To the port, then," he said, very softly- then gazed once more at the woman before locking himself inside Allegro.

Maeko-Hana "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much!" Anezka nearly pounced Trabor as he told Leshya'e the information the they would need.
"Well, you're welcome, little sister," Trabor said, not seeing the loko upon Leshya'e's face. "You're welcome to any news that travels with a caravan. But I should warn you- Orrel is unlikely to have TriRunes- since he already possesses his wings. But at least he might give you some solid advice on how to find your own, and news he has heard. He can travel this land faster than most." With that, Trabor gave the little rabbit-girl one more hug before tipping an imaginary hat and traipsing back to his wagon.

Anezka bounced a bit and then curtsied as Trabor left. She turned and buried her head into Leshya'e, hugging her waist and smiling into her skirts. Lesh was still feeling a bit confused at the two of them refering to each other as siblings, but she shrugged it off and hugged Anezka. "Well...Let's get back to Varekai now, shall we?" Anezka looked up and nodded, taking her mothers hand and skipping as she walked. "Oh, I just can't wait to find Orrel...I hope he can help me!"

Oqaia There was a flurry of movement inside Algonya's robes- no one would have known that she had put one of her talons against her heart, so swaddled was she. "If the meij permits it, I would love to see you once more, Annjette." The girl nodded smiling a little, "I would love for that to happen of the Meji allowed it, no matter how it happens..." Annjette murmured as she demurely looked down and brushed off the front of her skirt as of pushing the dust of the road away from them. Truth was she was hesitating.
Voltaire's shoulders shifted as he peered at his daughter, but he didn't make a move to hassle her into an answer.
"As I grow...Will I continue having to do good and bad things? I...Sort of noticed that I grew after I did certain things. I don't know if papa knew or not." She glanced at Voltaire whom seemed to not respond at all.
The still nameless ermine had found itself a cozy home alongst the insides of the girl's cape.

"Everyone always does good and bad things, Annjette." Algonya answered carefully, not wanting to give the girl either a sense of terror... or also, one of false hope. Her voice was as scratched and flawed as usual, and yet, an almost motherly tone overlapped its ugliness.
"You will just have to work harder to balance your two sides- not let either rule the other. You see, Annjette... when we are balanced, the meij leaves us be, for the most part. It sees that we have harnessed our powers- or used them- to positive effect, for we are still whole. Some fortunettes are born balanced- they do not have the duplicity that you and I have." She paused, regretting having included herself in the explanation. There was no need to frighten the girl- to give her an idea of her possibe future. But there was no way to return the words to her malformed beak... and so.. she continued. "And so, when our balance is off- even to favor our lighter element, the meij becomes worries, and steps in for our behalf. And it can do terrible things to correct those flaws. It does not always know how to handle us, once we are outside the meij.
...When we are born, and live within the meij, we are under its will completely- and not tainted by the outside world. We can be shaped, moulded, and our flaws buffed out by its wholeness and its magic. But once we separate from it- to live in this world as Fortunettes... it still tries to protect us, but cannot possibly shape us as it once did. So... just know to try and be whole, Annjette. ...Not "good"."
With that, Algonya had no more words, left. She was tired, and had exhausted her speech. It was more than she had spoken solid in years- and those were back in the days when she still had lips to use. Now, her tongue was dry and her limbs were sore from attempting to stand so long like a human- or, even as a bird- since she had the disparate muscles of both. So she settled for one last hug with the girl, then placed a hand over her heart once more... and shuffled back for her wagon, wondering if she'd ever see Annjette again, except in her dreams.
