Mugigri had become bored, a few hours into the night, and read by moonlight. He had nearly finished the book, but fell asleep in a cross-legged sit by Kaiden's side, his nose in his book, his arms perfectly propped. "Snzzzzz" he breathed lightly, not quite a snore

Kaiden would only wake up, to find himself entagled in tight-fitting clothing, or what seemed to be the remains of it. It only covered what counted.
Looking over, he would find Mugiri asleep, and book in hand. Kaiden thought to himself if it was that of a good read.

Mugiri woke when Kaiden woke, the gentle sound of his rythmic breathing changing. He looked up from the book, and blinked slowly. "Wow child, you grow fast. Is your name still Kaiden?" ?He laughed a little, and stood, stretching toward the sky "You look so different. Is the wound under the scarf healed as well?" He crouched beside him again. "this is absolutely mind-bogling."

Kaiden sat up, and stretched out, removing the scarf. A thick gash still made it's place, but it had done it's best to heal over into a young scar.
"I'm still Kaiden, I always will be."

Mugiri smiled, and pocketed the scarf, the end sticking out. "Well thats good to hear. Is this normal for you? I mean, it wasn't how I grew, that's for sure."

"As 'normal' as it gets. I have seemed to have picked up on a few traits from my father's side. -Kaiden swished around his young tail- This is all new to me. My mother was part of the vastly depleting Rigidl clan." (Ree-jee-dul)
Kaiden moved from sitting up, to try and stand. His legs were a bit sore, as was the rest of him. Growing took it out of him, and he needed a good meal. The jerky earlier only held him till he got back on the neutral ground.
"So hungry! Where can we mussle up some food?"

Mugiri laughed. The tree he sat under had special leaves on them that he had learned to make brth with. "I will get the food, making some beef soup, if you get some water, I'll go get a rabbit or two." He laughed silently agai, this reminding him of his daughter's curiosity

Kaiden would nod, and then ask, "What do I carry the water back in?"

He quirked a brow. "Oh. Right." He ripped a piece of his tattered clothing, and licked the edges, and seamed them, to make a sort of cantine. "That should work, my spit is a fast acting kind of glue..." He smiled awkwardly "Don't ask me how I got that power."

Kaiden gagged as Mugiri finished his sentance.
"I don't want to know..."
Kaiden turned, after grabbing the bag from Mugiri. He started off in search of water, and akwardly, he could almost smell the scent of water somewhere. Must be his imagination. Kaiden would flick his tail to every other side as he walked.

Mugiri stalked to a forest, and climbed a tree, effortlessly snatching birds eggs, and pinning rabbits with thrown kunais. He gathered all of the food in a similar bag, and headed to where he had asked to meet Kaiden at. He gathered some wood, and started a small fire.

Kaiden would do his best to sniff out the source of the water. There was a small creek nearby, but he couldn't spot it right out. He had to climb down a small cliff to get to it.
Once he got down to the creek, he would start filling the bag with water, as much as possible.
He gagged gain thinking of Mugiri's spit. gonk

Mugiri looked around, and wondered where Kaiden was. He couldn't sense any malevolence of import, and added more wood to the fire, and put stones around it. He got long, thin sticks, and carved and cleaned the rabbits, mounting pieces on the sticks, and making a spit to rest them on.

Several spiny plates grated against each other, in motion with the sound of heavy labored stomping. Moving along across the tall grass wasn't very difficult, but West was a bit sad to see the heavy footprints Ryhorn left in his wake. Shrugging, West simply adjusted his cap and looked around the plains from under it's rim. A cheery upbeat tune rang out from his ears, the music from the headphones only slightly muffled by being on his head.
"You teach me and I'll teach you..." He mumbled, echoing the song as it played. His hands idly patted atop Ryhorn's back as it stomped along, as if he sought to use his mount as a drumset as well. The long grass would be a great place to keep up his quest, searching for new types of monsters to catch.
Shrugging, West reached down and tapped a button on his discman. The thing whirred gently as the disc spun to a different song, one he'd chosen at random. Oddly enough, the song turned out to be 'Sandstorm', it was a good song, and oddly enough West thought that techno suited the plains. Bobbing his head to the beat, he just enjoyed the ride as his companion lumbered along.
((GWARHARHAR. Man, can you tell I'm bored?))
