Soapies I play Alto sax.. apparently I have good sound.. bah. ..I use a size 3 reed, I'm working my way up slowly, but surely. I love my sax.. You were supposed to learn Clarinet at my school before you started playing the Sax, but I first played euphonium, and then trombone, and THEN I played Sax.. I was the teachers pet, haha so I never had to play Clarinet. hey at my school we were suppose to play clarinet first too (well he strongly reccomended it) so me and 3 other 6th graders said screw it and played saxophone any way and who would have known, we're the best in our period. Almost everyone I know who is a clarinet is going to switch to sax half way through the year.

I think most of the saxes started on clarinet though... except for one of the altos (she plays oboe for concert band).

Saint-Saens Erisad Hm....well, all I know is that Selmer comes up with great stuff so...I'd imagine that one would live up to the reputation...But I have a Yamaha....she's nice. whee I have a Yamaha also. 3nodding A YAS 62II sweatdrop hehe. Our rental place was having a deal where you could apply all the rental fees you've paid to an new instrument. (Plus, they were already marked down! xp ) So I guess we got a good deal. Lucky. gonk
