I did not like Prince Caspian the movie. I remember how my Dad bought two entire boxed Narnia sets that my sister and I read through after I finished 2nd grade. And he encouraged me to read the Hobbit in fourth grade. I think I got halfway through the Fellowship, but I actually like the movies. My Dad is a hardcore fan, and he actually likes the way the movies adapted. For Thumbelina, I bought it in Sweden, but it came only in English and Italian audio!!! But the main reason I like that movie is because of the songs. They are so fun, and the animation is very pleasant. The makers later produced Anastasia, another movie I liked in my younger years. But as I look back, that movie is terribly inaccurate. I also bought it in Sweden, because it has a whole bunch of languages available @_@ I love hearing all of them. Even Finnish.

Yes Anastasia was inaccurate but I love it anyway!

Yes! I like the songs, and Anya was so cool and independent. I don't know why, but I really have a soft spot for non-disney animated movies. I also like the Swan Princess, but mostly for nostalgic reasons.

Alright! I'm taking this out of the graveyard because this just happened to me and I have to say it. (It even has two parts.)
In my family, at 9 years old, we get chores. Like real chores. My brother, Drew, is turning 9 on the 11th, so he got to load the dishwasher today after dinner. Of course, he's not tall enough to wash anything by hand, so I came down to do that when he was done. I noticed a pair of rubber gloves next to the sink. So here's part one of my "To much TP":
...you say to you mom: Gods! Did he really need gloves? (I said "Gods," becasue "Mithros" would've freaked her out. That doesn't mean I don't say it to myself.)
After I finished washing the pots, I went over to my brother and told him about how I used to use gloves when I did the dishes. Then I made a joke about him joining an elite order of glove users. I told him that I was Lady Emily of Berkley and then proceeded to dub him Sir Andrew of Pembrooke. (That's part two)
Oh, by the way...I'm "of Berkley" because I used gloves when we lived on the street, Berkley Square. He's "of Pembrooke" because we currently live on Pembrooke End. If only he waited a week or two. He would've been "of Wilderness" which would be so much cooler.

Eh that's funny. I would say you're obsessed with Tamora Pierce when you're writing a fic and it takes place in Tortall or you're using her characters and everyday you learn something new about what your character does in Tortall. Happens to me all the time and I would think Roki as well. Mainly because at the moment we're the only ones I know of out the main updaters who have an OC and a story or stories about said OC.

Very true. I'm writing the next chapter for my fanfic right now (it's taken me a few hours) and I just learned that my character hates her uncle. And I had a major epiphany about Josha and I know what anime character he's turning into! (Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass, if you're interested in knowing.) I also learned that he understands his relationship with Denna about 100x more than Denna does.

That's interesting. I know that Lessa didn't react well to news that Kai was interested in another girl. That's about it at the moment for the Tortall section the modern one is what's been worked on the most.

(This is getting off topic, guys)
I'm in love with Roki's story. crying
You know you're obsessed with Tamora Pierce when you read TP fan fiction, or the actual TP books, when you're supposed to be doing other things.

I agree. You're obsessed if you can't stop thinking about the books and characters and even though you know what's going to happen next you still don't want to out the book down or you start talking to the characters saying no don't trust him or don't go out with him!

You know you're obsessed when you have read one or all of the books a million times but it never ceases to give you thrills.
(I think we should have a guild meeting. I have things I would like to talk about.)
