Jon whipped his head around to Brook as well. He was a potions person, although he could write a spell if it was a life or death thing.

"Yea alright I'll try it." She said, remembering Austin saying that he was calling on their family lines and began copying down what she remembered from Austin's spell, however she couldn't remember his wording after he called on their lines. She was also better with potions, but she liked writing.

"Well, its about time SOMEBODY wrote it." Matt smirked and levitated himself down to where they were standing. "I'm tellin ya, I was about getting sick and tired of hearing you people babble on and on. You would think that if you were planning on taking us down, you would at least do more than just stand here." He had his arms crossed in a smug, confident sort of way. A slight glow was coming from under his shirt.
"M...m....matt?" Jon was speechless.

Brook wrote down the spell with a few minor changes from Austin's, but overall it was the same. She didn't intend on hanging around to vanquish Shadow. She needed to find a way to get Austin back, Jen did it with Matt, so she needed to figure out how to do it for Austin.
((All credit to Matt, I just editted it a bit so that she didn't have Austin's exact spell.))
She handed the papers to Jon and Dan. "Good Luck, guys. I'll be back soon enough." She told them, walking over to Austin's body and pulling out a peice of hair so she could scry for his spirit.

She met Matt's eyes. She knew that he probably knew what was going on, since he'd worked for Shadow. "Obviously I don't think so." Brook told him, crossing her arms over her chest. "What are you doing here? Don't you have a world to doom?" She added to him, simply.

"Ah, yes. The good ol' 'destroy the world' plan. Its an oldy, but a goody. See, the problem is...I like this world. Whats left to rule when you do..." He looked up and around. "This to it."

"Look, the coven has reformed itself. Good. Then I'm obviously not needed." She told Matt with a small smile. She looked from Jon to Dan to Matt. "Good Luck." She told them seriously. This was the last place she needed to be right now and her voice expressed that. She had too much pride to let them see her weak, but she needed to at least try to save Austin. "I've got to go." She told him, orbing out.
((She's going back to her house to make a potion..))

He turned to Dan. "Sorry about all of that. It still hasnt registered with me whether or not she's evil. Just trying to stay cautious, you know how it is." He was speaking very arrogantly. His days with Shadow had caused his self confidence to rise quite a bit.
"Anyways, I guess I should get right to the point. I want shadow dead." He walked closer to Dan, and the strange thing around his neck began to glow. "And I need you're help to do it."

Brook orbed in, with a newly rallied bunch of troops, who seemed ecstatic about fighting against Shadow's allies. Brook, however, didn't look as enthusiastic. She was a bit distracted. Her thoughts were on Austin and avenging him by killing Shadow. She wouldn't be evil anymore. Losing Austin, had taught her something even if it was one of the harder lessons she had to learn in life. Her cheeks were still tear-stained, but she tried not to worry about it, as she prepared to command her troops.

Brook overheard the conversation, but remained quiet. She wondered if Matt knew that if he planned on killing Shadow that he'd have to kill Katana too, but maybe Matt was really attempting to be good, just maybe.

Matt pulled the amulet out from under his shirt. "This is the amulet of light. I guess they weren't too creative with the names back then, but still, its the amulet that holds the power of the witch who stopped Shadow a couple centuries ago. I knew I would have to go under cover, and seem evil if I wanted to find it."
He walked closer, until he was right in front of Dan. The amulet's glow had severely increased. "I also found out that you need an ancestor of the first witch to activate it, and that it would glow whenever it was near one." He paused to let Dan process what was going on. "Now, I'll be needing some blood." He cut a line about an inch long down Dan's hand with his telekinesis. "Go ahead. Take hold of the amulet, and see its power." He smiled.
((Its still around his neck, so you wont be able to take it. Just thought I'd mention it so you wouldn't do anything rash. Matt has had the fire spirit in him, so he knows he can withstand the power, and he doesnt want to risk hurting Dan.))

He looked over at Brook while he was waiting on Dan. "And we'll still need that spell you wrote. The witch was only able to stop Shadow, not vanquish him. So if we want him dead and gone, we've got to pull out all the stops."

Dan felt the blood seep down his finger. "How can I trust you." he replied as he looked at him then to the amulet. "So you are basically saying that i'm the ansestor."
