And the things I DO get tend to be below-average. Now, you tell me, who's going to buy a 46Atk Eagle Crow (average is 49)?

Drop rates and drop items are all calculated through fame, or so Im told.
Sounds ok to me. A cleric with 10 fame wont get as much as someone who is really famous *Shrugs*

Actually, it IS good for something. Lv38+ "Dark" equipment (Dark Starlight, etc.) requires 20 Fame to wear.
