Kaori blinked at Sora as she stared towards her, still not entirely used to the idea that it was no longer Meghan. Then she shook her head, recovering and growling again. "You, keep away from me," she hissed angrily, pointing her sword at her but still moving quickly forward. She could rely on her senses enough to know if she was about to run into a tree or something.
Kaori bit her lip, almost drawing blood with the force. "I said I don't have time to waste on you! Either of you!" She continued to the forest, nearly there.
Kai snarled at Sora's comment, speaking to her but still keeping his eyes upon Mergex. "What the hell do I have to be jealous about?" he growled, voice low in his rage. Then he glanced at Shepard just for an instant, speaking quieter so only he would hear. "Hey, are you still alive?" he asked simply.

Sora laughed. "Why would I get out of the way, popet?" she asked simply, grabbing a dagger and aiming for Kaori's face; she wondered how good her reflex was. She turned, watching Kai for a second. "Why? It's another woman using your girlfriends body; you can't help but see her, can you? Even after I stabbed you," she laughed mockingly, still headed for Kaori.
She squeezed her legs into her chest even more, knowing that Mergex had captured Sai. She wondered; was there any hope left? Sai surely knew more about her than any of the people around her, so, who else was left to reach down and save her from the void; hadn't Sai been the only one to ever escape this by himself? She looked up, at the pool of liquid in front of her as it started to glow; there, she saw Shepard hurt on the ground, Kai holding his sword in front of Megrex, and what seemed to be herself running towards Kaori. Was this what was going on in her absence?
[[you know, i bet if Kai was stabbed or something, she'd try jumping through those little looking pools and end up outside naked xD]]

[Is that a hint that I should let Kai be stabbed then? Where's Vamp?! xD;;]
"Shut up!" Kaori screamed, closing her eyes, which had tears of frustration forming in them. She just wanted to help Sai. Why was Sora making things so difficult. What did she have against him? And against Kai? She'd been the one to stab him, hadn't she? But why...? "Stop talking to me!" she cried again, whirling around and pointing her sword at Sora. "Just leave me alone! I-I need to help him..." Her voice trailed off slightly and she bit her lip again, growling in her throat. Behind her, the edge of the trees was only a few feet away. She could be there in just a couple bounds.
She hesitated a moment, seeing Sora holding the dagger, eyes widening as the girl threw it. Kaori angled her sword up sharply gritting her teeth as the dagger hit the blade and rocketed off into a nearby tree, grazing her cheek as it passed. Kaori didn't bother to wipe away the blood dripping slowly down her face, and instead kept her eyes fixed upon Sora. I don't understand, I don't... Meghan, where are you? She bit her lip again, took a small step backwards, and then sprinted the last remaining feet into the forest, but having a fair idea that Sora would still be chasing her.

Kai gritted his teeth, but didn't respond. His eyes widened slightly as he saw the dagger graze Kaori's cheek from the corner of his eye, but he held his position before Mergex, in between him and Shepard. He hissed quietly to the boy behind him again, "Hey, get up!"

Sora grunted; what a stubbern little popet she was being. She stopped, looking over her shoulder at Mergex; she wasn't sure whether he'd want her to stay with him, or chase after Kaori. She frowned, narrowing her eyes before kicking off her back leg, following after Kaori; if he wanted her, he could contact her and tell her to get back, right? She started into the forest, now a little ways behind Kaori, trying to catch her before she got to the stone.
[[i just remembered, she has psycic powers... doesn't that include telekenisis? o.O]]
Meghan burst foward, her hands landing against the liquid, stopping her from any further progression. "Kaori-chan!!" she yelled, her voice echoing continuously. Her hands slid against the surface as she slowly curled them, leaning her head against it as she slowly started to fall to her knees, sitting down on an invisable floor in the void. The mirror and she continued floating on, through the darkness. "Kaori-chan...." she said again, the tears falling down her cheeks increasing.

" I can't feel my legs..just run you twit!" Shepard said weakly. Mergex looked pissed that Kaori had gone. BUt he assured himself Sora could handle it. He turned to Kai and started walking torwards him. His hand started to glow purple.
" So here we are again. Fire against ice. I'm most sure you win" MErgex said in a mocking tone. He beckoned Kai to come. " Bring it fool."

[Sorry sorry! Meghan's last post in the forest reminded me. xD;;]
Kai didn't turn to look at Shepard, and simply growled angrily. "Where the hell is Gordon?" he hissed quietly, just to him, but ignored the boy's comment. "And do you have any more of that healing stuff?" he added, recalling the thing Kaori had made him drink before. His eyes were still narrowed upon Mergex, watching yet not moving as the man approached.
He spread his feet slightly, holding the sword in his stinging, bandaged hand. The bandage across his bare chest was also already red from the blood seeping through, but Kai ignored it completely. He growled in his throat at Mergex, crouching slightly to prepare for better movement. "Don't get too cocky," he snarled. "I've picked up some new moves since then." It was up to Mergex to decide if Kai was bluffing or not.

" And as you seen so have I. I do not fear you. I see you as a bug. Easily squashed." he said. He stoped walking. He smiled at Kai and charged at him. His hands started to glow purple. " Blackfire punch!" he screamed.
THe attack was blackfire completey engulfing the users fist and when it struck something it would send a wave of pain and a fiery sting to whatever it was.

Kai growled as Mergex spoke, but didn't say anything. As the man charged, Kai swung his sword up sharply, placing his hand to the flat of the enormous blade as he braced himself, expecting Mergex's fist to strike the metal instead. He had no doubt the blade would hold and keep him back, though he wasn't sure how much the fire would still sting from being that close to him.
But as he did this, Kai's eyes flashed icy blue for a moment as four small points of ice stuck up from the ground a few feet behind Mergex, just pinpricks. Then they grew, increasing in size to about three feet long each, before launching themselves at the man's back, like giant icicles with needle sharp points. Kai hoped to strike him from behind while he was blocking his front.
Kei came quickly gliding from the forest, then dove quickly around Kai and to Shepard's side, nuzzling the male's face gently. He made a soft whimpering sound as he licked the boy's cheek, then raised his head to watch Kai and Mergex. He bared his fangs and readied his wings, preparing to jump in.

Mergex hit the blade. All of the power of the punch going into it. He then sensed an attack. It was too late to dodge and he felt the needles go into his back. Mergex steped back in pain. The ice quickly melt as the acid blood pours out.
Mergex is angered greatly. " Die!" he said forming blackfire balls in his hands and fire them at Kai. But he stopped them short. They floated near Kai. Mergex smiled and sqeezed his fistsa and they both exploded with a huge force.

Kai gritted his teeth as he dug his boots lightly into the ground, keeping himself from sliding back at Mergex's fist connected with his sword. His eyes narrowed as he watched him, showing no emotion as the ice struck the man's back. To Kai, there was no point in showing happiness until the fight was over and he was victorious.
He sprang back as Mergex stepped away, instantly pointing his sword at him again. Then Kai's eyes widened slightly and he held his sword as a shield again as the fire approached, at the same time beginning to form a thick layer of ice along himself. He gritted his teeth as the balls suddenly exploded, taking a quick step back and then crouching low so the least amount of his body was exposed as possible. His arms were over his head, and he the ice he'd started encased him fully, though he knew that wouldn't last long.
Kei gently lifted himself towards Shepard, hovering just over his face so hopefully the blasts wouldn't injure him further. The little dragon closed his eyes as the balls exploded.

Mergex seemlying disappeared after the dust cleared. He suddenly appeared at the side of Kai's ice and leaned on it smiling. " So..come here often?' he said cackling as he put his hand to the ground. Suddenly the ground around Kai ice shield started to glow.
Benath the surface a gyser of blackfire was coming up to total incinerate Kai and his ice shield. Mergex laughed insanely as he stepped back smiling at Kai.

Kai growled, turning quickly to face Mergex as he sensed him just outside his ice barrier. Cocky b*****d... But before he could react, he saw his shadow bend down and touch the ground, which soon after began glowing. Kai instantly jumped to his feet from where he'd formerly been crouched, sword still in hand but temporarily useless.
He gritted his teeth, knowing he was running out of time to make a decision as he heard Mergex suddenly laughing. He growled under his breath and leapt to the side and out of the ice sheild he had disappear, hitting the ground and rolling forward slightly. He wasn't sure if he'd made it for away enough, so he kept moving, hoping to avoid the blast at least mostly. His tail was wound around his waist to try staying out of the way.

Skylar walked along a path in the forest, before she stopped, hearing a fight up ahead. Quickly and quietly, she ran up to a tree and hid behind it, peaking over to watch the battle. She scowled, knowing somehow one was Mergex. Her eyes flashed to the other male, watching his progression; he seemed fast and that blade! It was huge!
She shook her head slightly before crouching down to watch, hoping she wouldn't be caught. She clutched the bush in front of her gently, looking through the leaves as drops from the passed shower hit her head gently. Why... does this seem so fermiliar

Misa entered the beautiful lake from the other side where Mergex, Kai and the others won't see Misa. As Misa saw the fighting, she hid behind a bush. She holded on to the bush but she then thought everyone going to motice her because of everything she touches freezes. Misa was correct as she wittness the bush freezing but then turn green as she took her hand off the bush. Misa then looked down to the ground. Frozen. She's freezing everything! Misa then noticed she still had the staff in her hand. What am I suppose to do with this staff? She srugged off the thought then looked at what was happening in the fight.
Misa then saw Kai. She remembered that she kissed him. Symone was controlling her then. Symone was actually controlling her whole life since she been here. Misa doesn't even now if she likes Kai anymore, that was Symone's feelings for him. The only time Misa was strong enough to control he own body was when they said she was Symone when she wasn't but Symone was talking instead of her talking. So much has happened but now being kiddnappen and everything, she doesn't have that feeling that she has to know that Symone is in her. Than it was the curse...So much. But now she feels like Symone not alive and she can control what she says, move, and her powers and now her powers are even stronger than before and this staff. What can she do with the staff? So much has happened...So much. Misa refocused as she was even lost in her thoughts of what all happened while she was here in Ria.

THe ground explode with blackfire as it shot into the air. sprites of blackfire landed on the ground burning it. Both Mergex's view and Kai's view would be obstruccted by the pillar of fire rising out of the ground. When it finally settled down Mergex wasen't there.
sliently mergex appeared behind Kai in a small poof. " Hey behind you" he swinging his leg to hit Kai in the face and send him flying.
