Instrument(s): Recently started Clarinet, Don't play it in the band yet, though.. That'll come as a Junior.. (I'm a freshman) I'm taking Pre-Cal next year, and they only offer it during the time when Concert Band is so... Doesn't really work.. And I twirl the flag! (Go Colourguard!)
Name of Your Band: West High Marching Trojans (I think..?)
What Your Uniform Looks Like: The band uniforms have white pants, and a red jacket with a Trojan on the front.. Can't give a better description, I don't pay much attention...
The colourguard uniforms are kinda skimpyish.. They're made of crushed velvet. 1/3 of the uniform is black, and the other 2/3 are red.. So, there's like one black pant leg and the other is red.. Then up at the top there's like a patchwork thing going on. Two rows with three columns. The top row is red velvet, black leather (leather??), and some sort of white material.. The bottom row is more black leather, grey velvet (yes.. a random spot of grey.. It's wierd..), and some sort of red shiny material. And then there's 3 straps that criss-cross in the back. These uniforms were NOT built for the cold.. Ugh, last year was horrible..
Favorite Song to Play: Our band plays Crazy Train biggrin It's really nifty! The percussions are supposed to yell the "aye aye aye" but the entire band does! Haha, tis great...
Interests: Forensic science, reading, math, music...

Personality: Um.. Well, I can be kinda shy sometimes.. But only when I'm around completely new people. If there's someone there that I know, I'm my normal crazy, hyper self. I'm a neat-freak when it come to school stuff.. I have to have my binders completely in order, notes and all.. (I think it might be a mild case of OCD.. Who knows?) I procrastinate a lot more than I should.. But I still manage to make all A's and B's. I actually do do my work, just not when I'm supposed to! xp I've got a perverted mind... But then again, so does the rest of the band at my school, so it's all good! Um.. I'm pretty stubborn sometimes. And I CANNOT stand people who act like your friend, but then say to someone else that they can't stand you and hate you, and then when asked about this stuff later on by someone else completely deny it. >.< Grr.. I actually know someone like this.. They are, in fact, the person that's currently dating the guy I like.. We were great friends at band camp.. But then she started liking the same guy as me.. Things seemed to get sour around there, cuz I always hang out with this guy cuz we're good friends.. W/e.. I'm just rambling..
Any other Additional Info: I've been told that I have an annoying voice.. By more than one person.. But I know I have an annoying voice. People can deal with it! It's not something I can change. And I love forensic science. I want to work in the FBI Crime Lab someday. I'm gonna be the one who looks at the DNA and stuff! Gotta love the show CSI!!

Name: Miyoko Location: California Instrument(s): Clarinet Name of Your Band: South Pointe Middle School Band (we never had a name...just our school w/ band...eheh) What Your Uniform Looks Like: hm...well for sixth graders (aka me) its a grey band shirt with black pants, for seventh and eighth I cannot remember what the men wear but the girls wear a white blouse (I think its fancy...or formal can't remember), with a long black skirt. Favorite Song to Play: Anything that has a fun part for the clarinet! But my most favorite to play are: Sarutabaruta, anasazi, the silver scepter and Yuna's theme. (I'll probably have more songs that are my fav later in the years..) What Your Uniform Looks Like: We don't have a uniform persay, but for concerts the girls have to wear elegant black dresses the school bought, and the guys have to wear Tux shirts, black pants, and bow ties.

Personality: I'm a fairly easy going person. I get along with most people and social circles, but I mainly just stick to my close group of friends. I try to live my life spontaneously and take life a day at a time. I don't get stressed out very easily, in fact, it's rare that I do get stressed out or nervous at all. When I'm in a bad mood, I usually just want to be left alone, but people can't seem to understand that and I can end up destroying some strong bonds then.
Any other Additional Info: I have a black belt in tae kwon do and am a co-jr manager for the crisis hotline run by our local paper. I have three cats (19, 19, and 2 years old) and a gerbil (3 years old). I'm 15 years old and a freshman at my school. As for our band, we placed 15th last year at grand nationals (best we've ever done) and odds are I won't ever see us place that high again.
