After they had filed into the main courtyard, several priests looked in Rose's direction, as if only noticing her for the first time, which they were. Odd, they should have noticed sooner, considering she was using some sort of magic artifact, something they should have detected- they had been paying too much attention to Ryushi's latest trouble to notice her.
"Why is one up and about so early?" one of them asked, indicating that the sun had not yet risen as he approached the girl. He tried his best to remain calm despite the fact that she was holding a dagger.

"I will not hurt you unless I have too...I just need a little information about that boy." Rose put her dagger back and waited. "I got lost and heard you little conversation...I hid because I thought I would get in trouble. But that boy he seems familiar. May I ask who is he? Also I was wondering about this town...are there any medical jobs or assasination jobs." Rose leaned against the pillar and sighed. If he priests tried anything funny then she knew she would have to kill them. She calmly waited for their answer.
Serenity sat in the cafe and drank her tea. She had been waiting for Rose to get back for a while now.

One was about to burst out in righteous indignation at the question of assassinations, but one of the older priests silenced him with a motion of the hand.
"You are not in a position to hurt anyone," one said in a fatherly voice, "But the information you ask is simple and readily given. The boy is Kurohana Ryushi, son of Kurohana Reitoku. Assassinations are something which would not tarnish our temple name, though medical help is something which is much appreciated."

Rose was surprised at the name. "Yes, my sister is the one who does assination jobs....I mainly am the one who does the medical jobs. I would be happy to help is you trust me even after this...I am sorry if I frightened you at all...I was kind of on edge. I thought the boy was someone I once knew..." Rose tried to smile at the priest. She couldn't help but feel embarrased about barging in and disturbing the priests calm and threatening to kill them.
Serenity looked out the window and sighed bored. She got up and walked over to pay for the tea.

Iro followed Ryu and the old man slowly, falling a few steps behind them. As the two men lead her through a courtyard, she couldn't help but be amazed at the simple beauty. Following them farther, she saw a small building next to a cave, and paused as the two men stopped. Clearly Ryu was waiting for something from the Priest, and Iro wasn't sure what she should do.

She had finished her breakfast long ago, the plates had already lain empty for quite some time and her cup of tea had turned lukewarm, but the scenery was nice and her table was quiet, so she didn't mind sitting around, thinking. Though... she felt like she already sat there for too long. Leaving a few coins on the table for tip, she saw a grand entrance into the heart of the city - a courtyard filled with flowers in full bloom and nicely pruned bushes- and started to walk toward the entrance, seemingly drawn to it.

"Come, son, you will be a welcome sight in my room," said Reitoku, motioning with a fatherly smile to the both of them. Ryushi nodded solemnly, and stepped inwards, but not before his father had already gone in ahead of them.
The interior of the room gave Ryushi the immediate feeling of being surrounded by holiness. A personal, small shrine was just barely visible around the corner from the entrance, illuminated by the yellow glow of mana lamps kept lit by the High Priest's will. The scent of incense hung in the air around him. It made him sick; 'twas a opressive feeling, always cutting his father off. He tried his best to ignore it as he followed his father deeper into the house, where a low-table with seat pads waited for them.
"It's often thought so, for the boy is all but too well known to some of us," said the friendly priest talking to Iro as he smiled ironically at one of the priests who was less than fond of Ryushi. The priest looked up over the rooftops towards the east, noting that the sky had started to lighten. The day had begun.

Rose walked off toward the entrance of the temple. She looked back at the priests and smiled. "I am sorry again for the disturbance and I will be back shortly...I must check on my sister first." Rose looked up at the sky and smiled at the light of day. She knew her sister would be furious at her for her little "adventure" but her sister would forgive once she found out Rose had found the amulet. Rose noticed her sister outside a small cafe and ran toward her. "Serenity I am back!" She said enthuastically.
Serenity turned around and saw her sister running down the street. She noticed the amulet and grinned as Rose stopped in front of her. "You found the amulet?"
((I am going to start coloring Rose's actions blue and Sernity's green...then you know who it is...))

Iro followed the two into the house, incence filling her nostrels. She walked into the room with a few comfortable-looking seats next to a low table. Following the men, she sat down opposite the Priest and next to Ryu. "Sir, if you don't mind," she said, "may I ask why you brought me here?"

"Here we are safe from any prying eyes or unfriendly attacks," said Reitoku. "As... lax as my son may be with regulations," he said, not seeming to notice Ryushi's wince. "He is not so much so that he would bring you here without having a proper reason. He might not have waited for a complete story, or might not have thought he could get one from you, though. (Ryushi began looking at the table at these words) I would like to hear from you personally."
He leaned forward, towards Iro, giving every sign of her having his entire attention. "What is it that brings you to seek safety here?"

Rose smiled up at her older sister and laughed. "Yeah I got the amulet back and found a job to help out in medicine."Serenity looked surprised. "You did!? Well were you able to find one for me to?"
Rose shook her head and looked up at her older sister depressed. "I'm sorry..."

Iro took a deep breath, attempting to calm herself. Something about being in the High Priest's presence made her jumpy, and something about Ryu made her heart skip at random times. "Well," she said, taking anouther deep breath, "the woman who took me in, she tried to kill us all, and I killed her, and now the people are chasing me because they think I'm a murderer, and I ran into Ryu here, and he seemed decent enough, but then I found out he had a bit of an attitude problem, but I wanted to trust him, and....." she rambled.

Reitoku held up one hand. "I'm sorry about interrupting, but please, go back to this woman. Who is she, and what leads you to believing she was going to kill? He paused, waiting for her response before asking any furthur questions. It was best not to flood her with questions. He didn't seem to mind the comment about Ryushi. It was irrelevant at the time.
Ryushi simply sat by, fuming a bit at Iro's talking of him having an attitude problem.

Iro caught herself, suddenly aware that she wasn't makeing any sence at all. She looked at the Preist, then at Ryu, and then, suddenly, for the first time since the day six months ago when she'd become a murderer, she began to cry. She held her head in her hands, great, uncontrolled sobs causing her to convulse. "I'm sorry....." she said through strangled cries, "I'm so sorry...."

"Calm down, young one," he said, making the padded the air motion one usually gives to someone they wish to calm down. "No one wishes you harm."
Ryushi rolled his eyes. "Pull yourself together," he hissed.
