Something skitters out of the fog ahead of you and stops to stare. It appears to be a Persian! But something is wrong. Its eyes are milky, and its mouth hangs open oddly, dripping some thick green goop. It seems to be wearing an odd collar as well...a collar that has waving spikes, or are those tentacles? That might not be something you want to try catching after all.

Oh hey that pokemon is DEFINITELY familiar, what a cute little pika……oh wait, that’s not a Pikachu… you realise it too late as the Mimikyu disappears into the tall grass, should have used a Safari ball already.

It's a Luxray! Will you keep it?

Oh look, a whole flutter of Butterfree…. Moving away and way out of reach of any pokeballs, you’ll have to wait for another chance.

As you move through the tall grass you hear a wailing that grows louder and louder until you can barely stand it, you move closer but it stops suddenly and you see a pink blur scurrying away

"Please tell me that's not who you're looking for."
The archeops shouldered past Soulhymn, growling. "Definitely not. It's eyes are weird. Let's retreat, hopefully it can't see us."
"Right." Soulhymn backed away from the awful sight, followed closely by the archeops. "By the way, what is your name? I'm Soulhymn."
The archeops-phox shrugged. "Aren't you supposed to name me, trainer?"
"Ah...!"

She was getting so tired. In the distance she could see an opening in the tall grass. She decided to take a long nap once she made it out of the grass. After a nice rest, she continued on her journey, deciding to search a little as she entered a new area. (Searching in D1)

Oh crap.... Revel grabbed for the safari balls at her belt too late, the mimikyu was gone before she looked back up. Darn it... did it go this way? she moved off west again to find it, or anything else.

What the heck was that?! Azael froze as a pink blur ran by after that awful wail. At first she didn't know if she should follow it or run in the opposite direction. In the end she decided to stick with her current path, blur or no blur.

Bah! Fayette wasn't fast enough for the mimikyu and she frowned. She turned back towards her strange companion, seeing if they had anything to ...say? Or... growl? But nothing. It seemed to just stare and drip spittle. Rolling her eyes, Fayette made up her mind to double search the next area carefully. This time, with a safari ball ever at the ready.

Oh no! All this with the strange kit made Koda miss something... again. Yet, as he looked down at the kit, he remembered it was still a baby, even if it wasn't cute. Koda sighed and walked over to the now mostly empty bowl, the kit clinging to him the whole time. He gently picked up the wiggly baby and put it back in it, so it could peek out of the top, then picked the bowl up. He had to be responsible for it, for now.
"Okay, we're going to go that way a bit, then we'll see where that takes us," he said, not entirely sure if the kit could even understand him. It had no ears!
Regardless, the kit settled back into the bowl and seemed to be content to peer(?) at the world as they walked.

Ryo scooped up the Mimikyu with a grin before he was forcefully pulled to the entrance. He'd say it was a successful Safari Zone adventure!

Ears perking at the sight of what was surely a cute Pikachu, Seren scrambled to get a ball ready to tag it with. Fumbling it, he just caught enough sight of it to realize it was a mimikyu, not a Pikachu, as it escaped. From the nearby excited sounds someone else had managed to tag the Mimikyu. In fact it sounded like there were quite a few of them searching this area. With the thought he could find something a bit easier with some space from anyone else in the Safari Zone Seren headed further west before turning north for a time. He'd have better luck here.

That was close! She saw movement from the corner of her eye, there was something following her. She tried to play it cool and act like she didn't notice until the timing was right. It was to clever for her as when she thought it was right behind her, she quickly turned around to try and catch it in the act. There was nothing there. Had she imagined it or was something playing with her?

Jacks voice was a little hoarse from cheering on her pokemon for so many days trying to beat the Elite 4. She hadn't been able to win against the champion, but she had won an amazing Glaceon as a prize. Maybe she could try and train it up in the Safari Zone by seeing Pokemon while letting her voice rest at the same time. She started her journey with her first step, heading deeper into the park.
