Ohsaka You guys know that S stood for short-ranged, and M stood for middle-ranged and so forth.. o.o;;
Yeah, I knew that. But you could still use a S range to attact form the backrow. I didn't notice they where doing less damage >.<

putting a s range fighter in the back will make his attacks less effective and putting a l range fighter in the front will have the same effect..........
anybody got tips to who should i use for the 3 party thing at the end?

Aside from the Prince and Lyon, I used Richard, Zerase, Cathari and Bernadette. I also used the last formation (forgot the name but the party is spread out like the letter "J").
It wasn't too difficult but Richard (who was place at the very front) died a lot sweatdrop but he did deal a lot of damage.
The Prince and Lyon were the back-up's and I just had them beat away.
Zerase was the offense spell caster and healer.
Bernadette was support and revived any fallen character (I gave her the Resurrection Rune).
Cathari stayed all the way in the back and shot away. 3nodding

I didn't have much trouble with them arranged like that. Just as long as you have a very good amount of healing items and Sacrificial Jizos and you'll be fine. I got done in about a half an hour.

The main people that I used for the Prince's group is Belcoot, Lyon, George, Zerase, and Lorelai. whee
I should train more people yeah I know! sweatdrop
Oh, speaking of Lorelai, did anyone ever finish getting her background files from Oboro? Ever since I finished with the first one he keeps saying, "Let's put that one aside for now." I wonder what's wrong? confused

Galleon -- was thrown in just for the heck of it ^_^;; ) in the final FINAL battle, though georg was available, i still didn't use him. he's so weak against magic and he's easily killed. you're better off with mages than with melee characters here.

Okay, here's a tip about those embryo enemies. NEVER EVER fight them. They don't even give a lot of experience and money and they are hard to kill. So it is just best that you run away. Now about the final parties...

I just though that those embryo foes were irritating so I followed a guide on Game Faqs saying not to fight them.

thanks guys for the parties, i'll try them out this Friday since I'm busy for the week with school stuff........
Do you think I should try fighting the final boss with the 5 beavers? haha....... but my real question is who is the most powerful character.... pls. dont say richard or georg.... I already used em long enough

You can't really fight with the five beavers in your party because Lyon has to be in there too. But in truth, you can put her into your entourage. I wouldn't fight the final boss using the five beavers though. They're pretty weak in terms of both physical and and defense. A few of the beavers have okay statuses with magic...
Most powerful character? Zerase is always the best one for me. Her physical strength is pretty good, especially when her weapon is sharpened. Her Star Rune is the best in the game, especially when she is in the back position of the Sorcery formation. She'll be able to use her strongest spell twice in a row. 3nodding
Probably the next strongest person I would say would have to be Lorelai. She's pretty good with magic as well, particulary Thunder/Lightning magic.

I agree. Next to Richard and Georg, Zerase is probably one of the best fighters in V. I would like to recommend Cathari too, for as soon as you max out the level of her gun (and skills), she deals some lethal damage - but of course she is a long-ranged fighter.
I also think that Miakis and Roy are pretty good characters. And Shoon too (maybe) but I didn't have the patience to level him up because he was the last SoD I got. From the short experience I had using him, he did show potential.
