Lavendulan - Captain 9
Lavendulan had been at home, in the Dark Kingdom, preparing dinner for when Wolramite was done with work when a distressed call came through the communication crystal she had left out on the counter. She had no idea with whom the voice belonged to and could only assume it was broadcasted to anyone who was powered up at the time or had their crystals available.
She looked down at the cut up pieces of chicken then over to the stove where the pan of oil had just reached the right temperature.
“Damn it,”SSDD… Same s**t different day If there was one thing about Destiny City, it was that certain things were always predictable. Whenever there was an event going on, be it holiday or a seasonal festival, if it was on the Cities website then something was undoubtedly going to go wrong. It only took two years to notice this trend but now that she had come to expect visitors from outside this universe and monsters nobody could quite explain.
Although Wolframite wasn’t home quite yet, she assumed that he had received the request for help as she did. And so, Laven turned the stove top off and put the chicken away in a gallon sized bag before teleporting to the same tall building she had met the Eternal Transcended Senshi on. From there she could see where the luminous monster was attacking what she assumed to be other agents as well as senshi and their knights.
Along with her promotion came certain obligations and responsibilities, those of which demanded she help her compatriots despite the possibility of death. There were likely lieutenants out there who might need help escaping if things got too dangerous.
So, with a final sigh, the Captain shifted into her water form and eleported near the bright light.
There was chaos, and then there was this.
Magic and objects were thrown from every direction and if she had not arrived in her current form, she would have likely been impaled by something because she was still not skilled enough to arrive in the near vicinity rather than right next to the damn thing. In a fit of rage, the creature made a large, haphazard sweep with its arms; claws extended it would have probably gutted her but instead they, thankfully, passed right through her instead.
In response, the half youma held her hand out to the side and with an almost elegant swing, a watery whip formed and snapped against the monster's tough hide with a satisfying crack.

Chibi-Sailor Tachibana, Senshi of Chrysanthemums - ? Damage
Caer Sidi was glad for the increased speed her Page form gave her, because it meant that she could, with only a few near-misses, avoid the globs of magic energy that seemed to drop off the beast at random. The good news was, she was managing that pretty well.
The bad news was, the creature seemed to be getting angrier the more damage it took, and the worse news was that she recognized the little wisps.
"Oh, damn it," she said, as she darted in to rain a few quick punches against the cracks and then bounced back out. Honestly, what absolute irresponsibility--!
All of her thoughts came to a screeching halt, though, when Hyperborea grabbed her and pulled her close. Her face turned as red as her hair, and she definitely made a squeaking noise, which she hoped wasn't audible over the din of battle.
Mycenae took a breath. It was true--little oddities were one thing. Cookies that made your eyes change color, ornaments that sparked a memory. But this? This was something else entirely.
"I don't know," he admitted. "You would think that this would draw way, way more attention than anyone wants. Watch those globs," he gave the instruction as they started raining down; it was probably obvious, but drawing attention to it was for the better. He frowned, twirling his shillelagh and darting in to get in a solid, direct hit, before moving back and away from the blobs of energy dripping from the creature's body with a swiftness and grace that might not have been suggested by his bulk.
"Even the Negaverse--they do stupid things, terrible things, but none of them would be idiot enough to pull something like this. Not when it's going after everyone." So who, then...? Someone from outside the city, perhaps?
Who was even out there?

Houshi was not having what she would describe as a "good" time. No, more practically, she was having quite a terrible time; this giant beast raining beams of light and chunks of itself was making quite a lot of trouble for her, and, it seemed, for everyone else.
Was it flashy, to knock the rock she found near her foot up with her toe and then turn a twirl into a kick to send it flying? Yes. It was desperately, unnecessarily flashy. But Houshi was frustrated, and annoyed, and she wanted to steal a little joy for herself. Certainly, she never pretended to be anything other than petty and vindictive, and it wasn't as if the great lumbering beast could complain.
Unfortunately for her, though, she wasn't quite quick enough on her feet, and as she came back to a rest, one of the chunks dropped down, landing just a few inches from her--close enough that she yelped and leapt away, but still felt the sear of it, shooting pain through her arms.
"Damn it," she said, voice soft, and she checked her skin--at least it didn't look too serious.

Sapphirine watched the monster with eyes that held more than a little fear, and when she saw energy begin to gather, she began to curse under her breath. If this thing got off a full attack...that would be it for all of them...and the city as well, honestly.
She felt her eye twitching in anxiety and drawing every last reserve of strength that she could, she flung another attack at the monster, wishing that she were stronger, wishing that she were able to do more than her piddly...not so piddly attack. Still, she wished she could be strong enough to really do damage.

Kerberos moved with swiftness and grace, darting around the drips of strange energy falling off the monster to slam into it. There was no time to hesitate--not when it was clearly gearing up for another big attack.
This wasn't the Negaverse's doing--the more he saw of the creature, the more sure he was of that. They couldn't have changed so much in the years since he'd purified that they'd risk something this massive and this indiscriminate--individual officers might, sure, but a monster this big? It would, he was pretty sure, need some hefty official sanction, and if it had that, it wouldn't be attacking the little blots of Chaos he could feel.
Even with all his years, he admittedly had less familiarity with the Dark Mirror--but this seemed even less like their style. He frowned to himself. The merchant, perhaps? The stranger from another world? But what would he gain from this kind of nonsense?
Kerberos hated not knowing, especially about something that was such a large threat to the city.
He also hated that all he could do was attack and dodge, but his magic wasn't built for beasts, it was built to bring sapient beings to their knees.

Super Sailor Monoceros: 3 + 0 + 5 + 8 = 16
Monoceros really didn't like the way the monster was now dripping its weird candle waxy blood all over the place. He made to dodge a large drop as the creature shifted and sent some flying, diving to the ground and rolling out of the way just in time. He wasn’t sure what it would do if it did hit him, but he was pretty sure it wasn’t just “get him wet” or something like that. The screams around him attested to that and he winced.
Damnit. If he wanted to conserve some energy, he’d have to get close up and use his burst rather than his flash. He needed to keep at least one spell slot on the back burner just in case something else happened and he needed to get away. He took a deep breath to settle himself and stood to take stock of his surroundings. What was the best path, straight to the beast, to get right up next to one of the splintering bits of skin? Spotting his opening, he sprinted forward, dodging other attacks on the monster from his fellows in this strange, hodge-podge of an army.
As soon as he was close enough, he skidded to a stop, almost inside the creature, and let loose his Quill Burst with an angry warning shout to anyone who happened to be near. He didn’t need to impede or harm anyone who was actually helping to take the damned thing down.

Agent Thorite: 0 + 0 + 7 + 3 = 10
Okay, well, he was pretty sure he was helping, at least, he thought to himself as the skin cracked where he was hitting the monster. The rotten reptile seemed to splitting open all over from all the attacks landing on it from all the people surrounding him. Good. At least he was helping, even if he wasn’t as cool as some of the people running around out here with their much more robust magic.
Even if some were Moon Senshi and Knights. This crazy Godzilla thing not getting to destroy the city was more important than being exaggeratedly, performatively angry at the presence of the moon freaks. It’s not like he was being watched for some kind of “appropriate reaction” or whatever when all of them were actually currently working to protect the town.

The monster was falling apart now, and fire and energy were falling, pelting the tentacles that tangled round the beast with pain. Awesome. Great. Fantastic.
Had the denizens of Destiny City really collected that many wisps for that JERK, Asmodeus Almadel, or had an 80 foot monster really grown and multiplied like that? Then again she supposed he could have been trying to collect the orbs to prevent just this very thing from happening, but the aliens thus far (Caedus aside) had never been that kind.
The Makaiju? Did the whole Elysion and Tartaros things count? That weird Justin Bieber thing back in 2011? Did youma count as aliens?
Even better the stupid thing looked like it was getting ready to spew pain out at the assembled Senshi, Agents, and (gross) Dark Mirrors.
Her normal power wouldn't be able to reach the mouth, the tentacles already straining to their height; so... Scylla gauged the number of Chaos agents in proximity to the beast, and shrugged. This would go very well- or very poorly.
She darted under the creature, energy sizzling over her glowing skin; and as she neared those front legs, smashing and trying to knock people over, she smashed her heel to the ground and called out to allies both Order and Chaos - "You may want to move out of the way in a moment. DEVOUR!"
A tentacle flared around her, one for every Chaos agent nearby, and the monster too- and they went wild, grabbing at everything and anything that wasn't Scylla herself.
Quote:
Eternal Ability: Devour
"Gradually, Kraken ascends to the surface, and when he is at ten to twelve fathoms, the boats had better move out of his vicinity, as he will shortly thereafter burst up, like a floating island, spurting water from his dreadful nostrils and making ring waves around him, which can reach many miles. Could one doubt that this is the Leviathan of Job?"
Scylla stamps her foot on the ground, causing the earth to appear to rumble around her in an (illusory) explosive tidal wave, flooding out for a 20-foot radius. A single tentacle per enemy, similar in appearance to the toothed tentacles created by Scylla's Hunger, spawns within 2 feet of the identified enemy and attempts to grab the nearest threat. Scylla has no control over the actions of these tentacles. They will not attempt to do more than grab and hold the nearest threat unless the 'grappled' player wishes so for plot purposes.
"Enemy" is a character in opposition to Scylla, while "threat" is anyone who is not Scylla. While the tentacle spawns due to the presence of Scylla's rival, once it spawns there is no additional control over what happens- a Chaos agent could use one of Scylla's allies to distract the tentacle, and the ally would have to fight their way free.
In the event this is being used in an overly crowded ORP, unless allowed otherwise for meta/event purposes, this attack will be limited to 12 tentacles and 15 feet radius, the same as her Super ability.
The monster was bleeding! The blood burned! People were getting flung around like dolls! And Charybdis was- well. Charybdis was very glad that she had long sleeves, and wondered if she should ask for leggings under her ballet skirt next time if she got a promotion.
However, her current location was very, very scary; and she had promised to be safe and careful. "Shiny Pup!" the senshi yelled- and booked it.
She didn't want to be that close to danger any more! There was, however, one good thing about being tiny and fast- she didn't have to stay close to the danger for very long.
Quote:
Chibi Super Sailor Attack: Shiny Pup! The Seal pup that Charybdis makes, once it has some attention (defined as being within/having eye contact with an enemy within 5 feet, or being within 5 feet of 2+ Chaos agents), essentially turns into a flash-bang; It shines incredibly brightly, the brightness reaching out to a 10-foot radius, and the sweet little whiny orks and grunts it was making as it wriggled closer to the Chaos members turns to a high-pitched shriek that affects anyone in a 5 foot radius. Unfortunate allies may be affected by this, though Charybdis herself will not- it is her escape mechanism! The seal can remain for up to 15 seconds before it goes off; this attack can be used 3 times, and causes no damage. (TL;DR: Look! A small screaming sun!)

Squire Imbrium - 7 + 4 + 4 +5 = 20 damage
Ugh. This battle was pure chaos, and Pythia was increasingly hating everything about it. Blood was drizzling from the creature now, and with the energy glaze came huge chunks of the beast. The beast stamped, and stomped, clawing at the ground; Imbrium braced herself as she was, yet again, knocked over.
And as the monster's mouth began to crackle, Imbrium shoved her buckler forward again for what would probably be the last of her magical 'juice'. If the monster had performance anxiety again and couldn't get its attack off, she might be somewhat peeved over how excited she'd gotten to maybe be useful. Or something.
Quote:
Squire: Buckler shield -- At this stage, Imbrium can shove her buckler forward and create an ice 'wall' in the direction she points it. Enemies hit by this wall are damaged or staggered; as a sign of her devotion to Castor, (and the fact it's kind of a mini-wall) allies in that walled area are protected from ONE hit, the potential pain/damage for which is taken by Imbrium. The wall will last for as long as Imbrium channels, though the protection is only redirected one time per "burst" of her channeling; if she only holds the wall once, only one hit will be redirected to her. A second burst of appropriately-timed channeling would redirect one more hit and so on. She has a 30 second pool.
This monster was very poorly put together, somehow, and also terrifying with the way it seemed to start to shatter apart before her eyes. She watched the strange wisps of energy twist into the air and fly away as the monster continued its stomping and its rampage and its tail swinging as it quite literally started to crumble. She was very glad she had the instinct to stay in the outer rims in this particular battle.
She shook her arms out to center herself away from the nerves.
... Okay, Nembus didn't really play all that many video games, but she knew exactly what that meant.
Opening its mouth, gathering energy? Oh no. No no.
Nembus threw out a quick punch to the edges of the retreating tail before bolting further away, wanting nothing to do with whatever the monster thought it was about to do. Nembus was going to let the others deal with that. She had some self-preservation instincts. She was not going to die today.
