Xavier had no idea what he was doing. He hadn't meant to accuse Daien of doing such a thing. He was just scared. The prospect of him trusting someone was frightening. He'd never tried to get close to anyone. With his suspicions aside, what Daein did made sense. He noticed that Daein had attempted to hearl him but it honestly didn't do much but calm him down. There was not an easy way for that mark to stop inflicting damage on him. Daein looked so hurt and so pained. He began to frantically type in his phone ".. I didn't mean it like that.. I don't know.. Dark magic.. has hurt me." Xavier was starting to panic as he saw how frantic he'd made Daein. He wasn't sure what to do or if words would even be helpful. A sharp pain made him curl up into a ball. Nero had pinpointed him he could tell. "I'm sorry..." He reached for Daein, trying to reach for him. He dropped the phone and pressed himself closer to Daein he put a hand on his back and smoothed it trying to rub his back in gentle circles to relax him. He felt the pain begin to fade from the mark. He knew it was only a matter of time. When Nero arrived he had to be far away from Daein.. or anyone.. He didn't want them to know. He wasn't sure how long it would take Nero to get here. He was definitly going to be in trouble when the demon showed up. "I'm.. sorry.." Though for Xavier, he cried silently listening to his friend sob. He had no idea what was going through his head.

Daein could hear and feel Xavier trying to calm him. But it didn't really work too much. He just uncovered his face and looked at Xavier, his face still baring an upset look, and tears ran down his cheeks. He understood that dark magic wasn't exactly given a good light...and he knew that. But it wasn't his fault his family drilled the use of it into his head. He didn't even want to use dark magic half the time...it was just that he was good at it. "My family uses dark magic a lot...so that taught me it...I don't want to be like that...I want to be a doctor and help people. That's why I'm taking the Medical Magic classes. My parents only said that I could attend this school if I took dark magic classes as well..."he wrote out to Xavier as he hugged Xavier tightly. He could sense the mark was reacting to something, but to what, he didn't know. Daein sobbed a bit but seeing Xavier was trying to calm him, he appreciated that. "I...forgive you. I am used to being mocked for my use of dark arts...but...I don't know why...when you asked that I...I lost it..."Daein was careful as he brought Xavier's face near his, planting a gentle kiss on the other boy's lips. Though he only let it linger for a little bit. "I like you too...I...don't understand these feelings...but...when you're close I feel good...but when you said that I...it hurt...but I forgive you...I'm sorry...please don't hate me..."he wrote out, starting to calm down, though a few stray tears ran down his cheeks.
Xavier read the words as Daein drew them in the air. He was finding it hard to grapple with it. If he specialized in dark magic maybe there was a chance that he could help him with his problem before his problem came to his school. No.. Nero was his problem. He could solve it himself. He sighed as he leaned into Daein. He quickly typed into his phone. The voice from his phone said “You are not the first to use magic on me like that.” He wasn’t sure how to say that he just had a bad feeling. “You…disappeared and put me to sleep…I was scared.” The phone said next. He couldn’t help himself as kiss was pressed on his forehead gently. He could not say that he hated the other boy. He closed his eyes wanting to feel the comfort while he could. He couldn’t help how emotional he was. It had been one of the things that his mom had called him out for. He let his phone go and it vanished into thin air. ‘He’s going to come here.’ He thought as he tried to get himself to stop crying. Nero would be sure to find him and do all kinds of terrible things to get him to talk. He couldn’t betray Daein. He didn’t know why, it was as if the light in him craved the darkness he could sense in Daein. There was much on his chest that he couldn't tell Daein. He knew it would only mean pain. He shook his head scooting away from Daein. "....Don't hate." This time he used his voice though it was cracking up because his throat was sore.

Daein already felt bad. He felt bad for using that spell. But he was telling the truth. He'd panicked...and he didn't kill that student. He held Xavier as he cried. "I'm sorry...I'm very sorry...I won't do it again...."he wrote out to Xavier but then just kept hugging him again. His heart was racing and he felt a little dizzy...kind of how Xavier felt earlier. It could have been a mix of things, but right now, he just wanted to enjoy the moment. When Xavier moved away, he felt cold...empty. He reached out to him, but then flinched and retracted the hand. "I'm sorry..."Daein wrote out again as he sighed and curled up against the wall. He needed to calm down...and he didn't know what else to say to Xavier except I'm sorry. He wanted to ask more things about him, learn more...but his mind was so scrambled he was having trouble. He sighed and then tried to regulate his breathing.
Xavier watched Daein panick. He wasn't sure what to do. He felt weird and the feelings he was having were something he needed to let out. He took a deep breath. Then tapped Daein on the shoulder then made sure he could show himself taking a good deep breath and letting it out. It was his way of telling Daien to take a breath. He carefully ran a hand over Daien's back in a swirling motion hoping it would help him. He didn't think Daein had anything to do with the murder in the library. Xavier was pretty sure but he had doubts about a lot of things. He continued to try and calm Daein down. "Come.." He said picking up his bang and slinging it over his shoulder. He held his hand out to the other boy. "I show.. Come." He insisted at some point he had stopped crying and instead focused on his new friend.

Daein covered his face as he wept. He was even shaking as he cried. When he felt Xavier try and calm him, he started to get a little calmer. It was only when Xavier spoke up that Daein looked up."Going?"he wrote out in a shakey way before getting up. He took his bag and stood up, wiping his eyes. "But...where?"Daein wrote and cocked his head to the side a little bit.
Xavier smiled at Daien. He slips his hand into Daien's and leans forward. With the sleeve of his shirt, he begins to dry Daein's tears. "Its okay.. Show.. follow." He insisted after Daein's face was drier than it had been a second before. He began to lead Daein out the door and toward one of his favorite rooms. The piano room.
This area has been time skipped 4-5 months in the future.

Ever since the events that occurred five months ago, Akeen found that he had much to learn. If he wanted to be an Officer, he needed to learn about other magics. That was why he was in the library seeking knowledge about the other disciplines of magic; he was even learning more about his. There was something that he wanted to try, but was not sure if he was able to do it.
He had books piled on the table next to him. Half of those books were about runes and then there were others about Elemental Magic which was somewhat related to his own Rune magic. He figured that he'd be able to grasp that more easily. From there, he would go to Necromancy which was further from what he'd know about. For that, he may go visit Mercy since he had a rapport with her already.
"He-llo dearie!" Mercy's chipper voice cut through the normally stifling silence of the library as she approached Akeen with several books floating around her The brunette planted her rear on the table beside the rune mage, the faint smell of cinnamon wafting from her person as she smiled at him "Still diligently studying different magical styles? Admirable, but there's only so much you can learn from a book, or perhaps that's just me. Granted I grew up learning almost entirely from firsthand sources and hands-on practice..." She trailed off as she picked up one of his books on necromancy and flipped a few pages in "For practical magics I'd say this is a good starting point, but when you get into more esoteric things, well what you've got here is just a big book of an introduction to theories. For something like necromancy and elemental where you're effectively binding a force to your will, you should probably try talking to a specialist

"Hmm?" Akeen looked up to see the brunette in her normal chirpy mood. He worked well with her before and they had passing discussions here and there. Classes with Professor Nagamasa were grueling, but he was managing. "Ah, Mercy, how are you?" he asked as he looked from her to the literature that he was studying. "Yes, I am," he nodded. "I am also looking to strengt'en my own rune magic," he said. "I have a t'eory, but it is somet'ing that I will need to put it to practice or a 'hands on' approach as you put it," he said. "De last incident here opened my eyes to de fact t'at I have much to learn about ot'er magics," he said. "I am willing to learn," he said. "Would you be t'at specialist?" he looked to her.

OOC: I want to apologize for disappearing in the middle of that story arc. My account got banned and it took me some time to get back back on my feet.
"I'm definitely learned in Necromancy" Mercy replied, waving her hand to conjure a floating skull that opened its mouth to reveal an assortment of candies, one of which she took and casually popped into her mouth "I can definitely help you get a grasp on the basics and maybe through the intermediate level stuff but...I'm not going to lie, Necromancy really isn't for the faint of heart." her brow furrowed as she tapped a fingertip to her nose in thought "I'm comfortable with it because it was my whole life at one point and there's definitely a degree of cruelty you need to have in your soul in order to really be effective at it. If I'm being honest it put a strain on my relationship with Blaze for a bit since it's a very tender subject for a lot of people...but if you're dead set on it I'll help you learn it, as a friend." For a moment Mercy's usual smile turned into a frown as she mentioned her relationship issues, however long they lasted, but quickly turned back into her ever-present smile as she stood up "If you like I can give you a lesson right now, we'd need to head away from the main b buildings buuuuut I know a good way to cut the commute time...You know how to levitate right?"

"I really do appreciate t'at," Akeen nodded. But then, his brows furrowed when Mercy mentioned about having a degree of cruelty. That went against his nature. His village and family raised him to respect and appreciate all life, even those of humans. He was definitely not faint of heart, but having to switch one's personality was something that would be a strain for him. "Perhaps, I can watch what you do and t'en possible learn simple spells," he said. "I just want de knowledge. I am afraid that if I delve too deeply into Necromancy, that I will lose my connection with my Rune Magic," he said. "I am sorry if I am being difficult," he said hoping that he was not offending her.
