The elevator jolts to a rocky stop halfway into a floor. The gate opens, and the gap is barely big enough for you to slip through. The first thing you notice, is that the floor is very low lit. There is only enough light for you to see a few feet ahead of you. As you step further into the room, you notice that ahead of you lies a statue. You veer around the first one, only to notice that there are a total of eight statues. Two appear to be broken.

It's hard to hear, but there is sound in the room. Instead of from above, it sounds like it comes from the ground. It's low, rumbling, and reminds you of war. You think you can hear the clash of swords, of screams. The sound of defeats and victories. It sounds like broken dreams, and shattered hopes. Of chained freedoms, of loose truths. It sounds of struggle.
The sound seems even around the room, yet centers around the two broken statues. The sounds of sword clashes and screams get louder. The low sound, it doesn't echo. It doesn't have words, but it tells a million tales.

The Keeper
[The Living Sin]
A plaque reads:
The Keeper of 'The Tomb of A Million Years', Askava was the embodiment of the sin that befell the angels; lies. Every word she breathed held no truth, no consequence. She was cruel, without limit. She ran 'The Tomb' with only one goal in mind: enslave those who enter, selling their souls to the highest bidder should they fall. She was destroyed by Veneira, who plunged the Fate's Scissor into the Liars' Mark, the crown that had grown from her head.

The Guide
[The Loving Swordswoman]
A plaque reads:
The Guide for 'The Tomb', Zenia joined out of concern for her friend. For countless years, she guided those through 'The Tomb', believing that the sooner someone got to the end, the sooner her friend would be cured. She held onto her belief that one day Askava would be free of her ailment, until her dying breath. She was slain by Askava, her own swords used against her, for when she herself reached the end, learned that it was all a lie.

The Healer
[The Dark Angel]
A plaque reads:
The Healer of 'The Tomb of A Million Years', Reedon was sent to attempt to keep Askava in line, as the Angels had hoped that giving Askava a dungeon to control would contain her. His fickle personality got the better of him, and instead of helping to curb her hunger, he actively fed into it. His healing was minimal, he did more damage to crawlers, his interest in seeing what Askava would do leading him astray. The corruption to his core ended his time.

The Monster Trainer
[The Royal Combatant]
A plaque reads:
The Monster Trainer of 'The Tomb of A Million Years', Milirara was the Empress of the Moon Witches, but went to live in 'The Tomb' when the duties became boring to her. She trained the monsters that dwelled within 'The Tomb' and sought more out when more were needed. She did not care what Askava's ambitions were, she just wanted a cure for her boredom. Her fate is unknown, but it is believed she died with the fallout of the dungeon.

The Lookout
[The Rejected Seer]
A plaque reads:
The Lookout of 'The Tomb of A Million Years', A'Onoron was in training to be a high seer, but was rejected due to her inability to limit the stretch of her power. She believed that she was given the power for a purpose and when she was kicked out, she went searching for a place that would love to have her talents. She stood guard over 'The Tomb', making sure that interested parties were stopped. She was killed by Askava for failing to see what would befall the dungeon.

The Shop Owner
[The Beloved Son]
A plaque reads:
The Shop Owner of 'The Tomb', Igravar was the beloved son of the middle demon king of wealth. In return for a favorable stock and treasures, Askava allowed him and his twin brother to join the staff in the dungeon. Igravar was the one who helped Askava get the deal that allowed her to trade souls of warriors for continued life. He was slain by Zenia and Veneira in order to prevent another deal that would have consumed the dungeon entirely.

The Floor Keeper
[The Omniscient General]
A broken plaque reads:
The Floor Keeper of 'The Tomb of A Million Years', Veneira was the General of the Army of the Stars. She was tasked with gaining information about the weapon the angelic army was making during their war against the Stars. She gained admittance to the dungeon by providing Askava with the power to stabilize the dungeon so it wouldn't collapse due to the amount of power she was trying to contain within its walls. She, single-handedly, was responsible for the downfall of the dungeon, after it was made apparent that the Angels had been lying to the Stars, and had been for near a century. It is unclear what happened to her.

The Record Keeper
[The Eternal Reject]
A broken plaque reads:
The Record Keeper of 'The Tomb of A Million Years', Grenier was forced to be apart of the dungeon due to a deal made by his brother and father on his behalf. Askava used him for record keeping, as his ability to handle Eternal Magic allowed for him to capture and move souls from one being to another. Sacrificed by Askava in order to gain the Eternal Casket, he was saved by Veneira, who tasked him with destroying the souls that made up the foundation of the dungeon. After the collapse, it is unclear if he made it out alive, if at all. The Casket was nowhere to be found.

"It's sad isn't it."
You turn around, and the woman from the main floor is there. She is gazing at the broken statue of Veneira. Her gaze slowly turns to the other broken statue. She walks forward slowly, and places her hand out between them. A man and woman appear, filling in the top halves of the statues. They seem familiar. Too familiar.
"We didn't know that they were lying to us until it was too late. By then, the Angels had given Askava enough leeway to gather enough souls to lead against us."
The faces of the projections twist, one into anguish, the other into rage.
"We told her to leave. That she shouldn't fight this alone. We didn't know...we couldn't believe that she had the Fates' Scissor. That is an God Weapon from eons ago. She had to have made some deal to wield that."
A scissor appeared in one feminine hand as a gem with a gear appeared in the male's.
"The Eternal Casket was a surprise was well. We had a feeling there was an Eternal part playing a role in this, but we weren't sure. We were grateful it was on our side."
The woman waved her hand and the projections disappeared.
"Veneira was a friend of mine...all Stars train in triples. She was the leader of our group...the other girl was-"
She stops herself, and turns to face you.
"And you thought this was a simple casino dungeon, huh? You wouldn't be the first."
You blink at the question, and she is gone.

As you walk back toward the elevator, you see Kentrana and Avagarnde staring at the statue of Askava.
"I think it was a bad idea to display the crown, you know? They could have a least added the cracked center. A picture worth a thousand words, a statue worth a quiet war? Would like to know where the Scissor went though..."
"The Scissor can stay with the right owner. We need to consider the idea that what happened, can happen again. There are many different species, some that have been at war with others. Avatars rest here. A youth trained by the God of Spite. We have Mortals mixing with Eternals."
"This ground that this dungeon is built on, that is the problem. The two of the them...", she points at the statues behind her, "...statues are only broken if their likeliness is still alive. The two of them, they are making sure that this never happens again. No one will know about this war. No one will care. This day in age, it's just about the thrill, the vibe. Wars are over, Avagarnde. Let them lie. Plus, the two of us are here! Ain't nothin' gonna happen!"
"You were always to optimistic. I like the music though. Suits the story well."
"Music? I don't have a track for this floor. Would raise too many questions."
"Interesting."

Orora appears next to you as you walk past the Healer statue.
"This is probably my favorite floor. I didn't know that it was a floor until about fifty years after I opened the dungeon. It...gave me retrospect, ya know? I built this dungeon because I love games. I love the thrill of taking a chance, a risk, and seeing this...it reminds me to be cautious. To recognize that dungeons have come a long way. For heavens sake, we get our monsters at a super market! Run by a boar and a mouse! This dungeon is a treasure to me."
She hands you a small piece of paper. It reads: Randica. Exit Angel.
"That elevator will disappear and fix itself when you get near it. It won't come down here again. Have this on me."
She winks, and disappears.

Turning around to see where Orora went, you notice two people. They are standing near the broken statues. The male notices you first, and glares. He turns away, moving further into the floor.
The female laughs, lifting her finger to her lips in a shushing motion.
You eyes widen, but she too, moves further into the dungeon, both disappearing into the shadowed abyss.

As you reach the elevator, you hold out the Randica card. You probably won't ever come back to this floor, and you are okay with that. You turn around and face the statues. The lighting has increased a little, you can see them clearly now.
Looking around, you notice that the floor is completely destroyed. The walls are cracked with pieces missing, there are holes in the floor. You couldn't ever imagine exploring a dungeon looking like this. Dungeon Royale has a giant golden moneybag in the center of its' main floor! You nod your respects at the statues, and turn back.
The elevator gate is gone, the entire cage is. You peak your head into the shaft and look up. You can hear music blaring from the other floors, can hear the sound of monsters and crawlers alike. Everyone is having fun and here you are learning a history no one else will.
You hold the card in between the index finger and thumb of both hands and rip the card in half.
