Lesson Three: B - Halo of the Moon
The final technique of the Lunar Aura and the last of the Crescent Stage; Zero Divide. This is a combination of Strike and Mirror Force, with the added power of Crescent Moon Shadow. Simply put, a devestating counter-attack that will fallen an opponent or at least weaken them. Simply, you must level your sword in a defensive manner and call all your lightswords into the blade. When you are attacked, you must release the energy in an attack. The result will be an attack that will have all the power of previous techniques in a single slash.
Willpower, focus, timing, energy; all will be essential in unleashing this move. You can use it either as a starting move to have an advantage of you opponent, or as a desperation move to level the playing field. But if you do use it, know that it can only be used once, for it will use a great deal of energy on your part. Even upon full mastery, you will only be able to use it three times at best.
Completion of this technique earns you the right to move up to the Half Stage of the Lunar Arts. That alone tells the difficulty of initiating this attack. Note, there is a hidden secret within Zero Divide, but that will not be taught until after you've mastered it enough. Now then...

If you are to learn Zero Divide, then I should aid your work." Bends knees and spreads wings slightly. "Come at me."Unvanquished eyed his teacher for a moment before responding. "As you say." Unvanquished undid the bonds tieing his limbs and began to walk forwad slowly, gingerly, towards Xaiamut. He gradually broke into a run and aimed a quick jabbing thrust at Xaiamut's chest, shooting his sword in and out like a piston.

Unvanquished undid the bonds tieing his limbs and began to walk forwad slowly, gingerly, towards Xaiamut. He gradually broke into a run and aimed a quick jabbing thrust at Xaiamut's chest, shooting his sword in and out like a piston. Xaiamut pulls the sword out of the sheath halfway to parry the first stab, then draws it fully to lock with the second strike. He then pushes back, summons five lightswords and lunges with Lunar Aura Strike.

Unvanquished lelt backwards and skidded to a halt in attempt to dodge the retaliation. Xaiamut had made his mastery of the Lunar Arts clear in that maneuver; he had created lightswords and charged them much faster than Unvanquished could. Unvanquished only created his nine lightswords and looked onwards in hopes of seeing some form of opening.

I bow. "Sorry I havent bveen on the internet in my dorm hasent been turned on yet when it does ill be on more but not to much more i have alot of classes thsi simester."

Unvanquished only created his nine lightswords and looked onwards in hopes of seeing some form of opening. Xaiamut takes in the scene. 'Nine lightswords... He plans on using his power to the full. Brave, but let's see how well he mantains.' Summons five lightswords and raises his blade. "Lunar Aura...Crescent Moon Shadow!"Waving the blade forward, he sends the five lightswords flying at Unvanquished.

I'll need all of my lightswords for my attack... I can't use them to defend right now. Have to evade... thought Unvanquished as the lightswords shot forward.
He pulled to the side, strafing out of the incoming missiles' way and breaking into a run. He was dashing towards Xaiamut at a wide angle, knowing that a direct rushing attack would be folly against an opponent so well versed in the Lunar Arts. He began to charge lightswords into his blade, one by one, while running.

Summons three lightswords.

After circling around Xaiamut,, he jumped inward towards his opponent with a side kick, favoring a physical attack rather than taking a risk and using Strike with the posibility of being countered. He would wait for a more opportune moment to use a heavy attack like that.

He would wait for a more opportune moment to use a heavy attack like that. Circling back after the kick connects with his side, Xaiamut returns with another Lunar Aura Strike.

Unvanquished was not ready to dodge the blow after committing his body to a physical attack. In a last-resort effort, he pulled his free hand up and blocked the strike with his bracer. The lightweight armor was not meant to withstand a synergy-charged blow, let alone one from someone who had perfected such a technique. The plate shattered to pieces and fell from his arm. Unvaquished, however, would not let the destrucion of his defenses blind his view of the bigger picture; Xaiamut had used up his lightswords and would not be able to use Counter on the Lunar Strike now. With his Lunar Strike charged as much as he could manage (9 lightswords), Unvaquished let loose a fast inward vertical slash aimed at the neck and collar region.
